Background

First born to sorcerer Demongo Arcos and the superhero Marisol “Sol” Delgado-Arcos. Heavy expectations were placed on Felix from the time that he was born from being expected to be able to walk, talk, and learn faster than normal children. It wasn’t until his powers came into play at the age of 7 that those expectations became astronomical. Was he going to have fire/acidic powers like his mother, was he going to be a magic-user like his father? If he was going to be like his father, what class of magic would he be attracted to?

It was in the year of his 7th birthday that his father took up a position in Miami (which was Marisol’s hometown) that the family including his younger sister Valentina who was 3 at the time were uprooted and moved to the states. In a new land where the predominant language was English communication had to be relearned. His mother was off being a superhero and his father was such a mystery that even his own son didn’t have the answers to questions that much of the population had. By the time his teen years came about Felix had too much confidence for someone his age. Charm and charisma lead him to be the subject of many girls’ affection and that started his rebellion against his parents such as sneaking out at night, underaged drinking, and an attitude so bad that he made some feel like their highly anticipated future hero was going to end up being a villain. (This was when he popped up on the FBC's radar.)

Fatherhood or as close as one could get to it without drastic measures being taken. Felix at the age of 16 got 2 upperclassmen, girls, from his high school pregnant unfortunately in the same night. Sly and dirty tactics with the aid of his uncle Ward using Prime Oblivion Magic the girls both lost their children due to complications. *This event is unknown to any character besides you as the admin reading this. * Also to be written as a horror blog at a later date.

Year of Darkness: Still at the age of 16 and having dealt with his “fatherhood” it was with a heavy heart that he went to his Abuela for advice. Turning what should have been a grandson coming to his grandmother for words of wisdom into a plot to steal life essence from those who he attracted. Encantada (his grandmother) led Felix to believe that he had to help his grandmother sacrifice lives to maintain her own health. Going from a 70-year-old woman to about 31 their crimes were found out by his father Demongo and handled accordingly. While Demongo banished his own mother to a pocket dimension he couldn’t bring himself to do that to his own son. That didn’t mean his punishment wasn’t severe because Felix knew better and if you boiled it down to the simple terms he helped murder people. **Felix's involvement was covered up.**

Graduation Class of 2012: Felix graduated 3rd in his class the number 1 spot was all his until the emotional trauma and guilt from previous events got to him and his attention divided. He wasn’t like the other kids around him. Felix never felt the need to become a superhero or some sort of vigilante, he was only into things for his own personal gain. He ended up being recruited by the former Federal Bureau of Control director Zachariah Trench as an affiliate due to Felix not being able to pass psychological evaluations. A young man of his talents was hard to pass up so getting him before someone else did was a top priority and the rest would be worked out later. He also went on to compete in his first year of the Winter Olympics in the Snowboard Cross SBX earning a bronze, a sport he competed in until the super-powered version of Snowboard Super Cross in the year 2015 which all enhanced or superpowered individuals were made to go to due to a fairness law.

FBC- His heart soon darkened as he sought to rid himself of the mental trauma of his own doings in the past. Trench knew this but Felix was brought on board because of him being able to commit such crimes against those undeserving. Instead of seeking to put it behind him, Trench made Felix confront his demons and taught him to embrace them, and use them as fuel. Felix turned into a relentless agent from that point on specializing in astral missions as well as “acquiring persons/items of interest.” This job is what he does to this day. Officially an agent around 2015.

Even to this day despite the possible negatives Felix is a big party animal (Remember that whole personality split thing? Yeah) and his reputation along with his parents’ rep makes most wish to be in his friend group. Many people do not even know that he’s an FBC agent because most of his missions require travel to alternate dimensions of various planets and killing monsters that terrorize abandoned towns or pose a threat to the status quo. What is public knowledge is that he used to be Ghost Panther, his parents are famous heroes and he’s quite the charmer when not in hostile situations.

Hero/Villain/Somewhere in the grey area? You decide.

//Other detailed stories will pop up through bulletins/ blogs for example Shirakawa Showdown is a mission that he was recently a part of.

Achievements
4x Gold medalist Super Powered Men’s Gymnastics (Level 11 gymnast)

Rescue, Demolition, and Execution? *Final*

Blog Theme: Space Theme 2

The portal closed behind Felix; his ears moved slightly as he listened to the stillness of the surrounding area. “Sonido.” Sam’s voice could be heard over the comm as Felix quickly said. “Don’t distract me.” Bringing his thumb up to his mouth and biting down with a sharp fang, blood pooled from the self-inflicted wound which was brought to the palm of his right hand causing the oblivion symbols to crackle with a blue light. Kneeling he’d focus for five seconds as a blackish blue substance welled from his wound in place of the deep red blood, drawing a circle with four quadrants on the ground he’d start an incantation. A slim blue aura forms around him as he begins.

¡Corazón del Sur, Ojos del Norte, Yemes del Oeste, Tobillos del Este!
¡Únanse , y vengan con el viento!
¡Rompan, y traigan la lluvia!
¡Arte Vinculante Número cincuenta y ocho, Atrapa las Huellas, Sigue al Gorrión!

Placing both of his palms on the ground as everything went as intended an unexpectant result happened as sinister energy spouted from the symbol, unlike the clean blue light his magic usually appeared as.

“What the f*** is he doing wasting time?” Sampson asked around the room as Lucy came in to see what happened. “Agent Jin explains what Arcos is doing.”

“Yes sir, agent Arcos is performing what is simply a locator spell. It’s traditionally known as Bakudo Number 58 Invocación de Pajaros Rastreadores, it enhances the user's senses to pinpoint the location of intended targets. See those numbers flashing that’s the specified latitude and longitude of his targets. It helps because now he knows who is in a group or who is alone. Maybe he’s even checking the locations of the monsters. However, the hue correlates to the user’s energy or magic it’s simply put spirit magic sir, and Felix’s hue shifts between a teal and or sky blue, so this is… New.”

Black and red energy wildly spouting from the circle on the ground the numbers came to a halt and the spell faded out rather quickly once the information was revealed. Making his way back into the base the familiar layout was easier to navigate so it was a breeze to make it to the lower level with the occasional run-in with a xenomorph. Light footsteps hastened as he entered combat with a silver-looking version of the prior xenomorphs clearly this was what came out of Pewter. Much denser than the other variation as this monstrosity ran heavy clinks and clanks could be heard as the floor beneath it dented from the weight. Phasing through such a dense rapid-moving object of that size would be hard so evasion was necessary.

Throwing knives deflected off from the creature with ease as Felix seemed to have a reality tv confessional moment. “I don’t know why I thought that was going to work.” Snapping back to reality he ducked beneath a swipe he’d deliver a quick punch that sounded like a church bell being rung. Too strong for him physically that would be apparent by the tingling feeling in his right hand which shook from the impact of him punching the creature. Tail whipping with rapid succession this thing not only seemed to have Pewter’s abilities but the mobility of a Xenomorph. Bladed tail launching forward the many slashes were met with a stab to the left shoulder. “Tch!” The comm visuals were destroyed in the assault but when the Xenomorph picked him up to headbutt him repeatedly like it was completely Pewter’s style to do something like that. “Aaaah!” A sonic scream was unleashed as the Xenomorph went sliding back. No way… No way those scientists could survive if they came across this thing. Hitting the ground, he’d crouch down and pounce the Xeno.

“Sonido you can’t take many more hits like that!” Sampson said looking at the readings on the screen which functioned more like a health bar and physical assessment blinking red on his shoulder from having taken damage.

Having pounced the Xenomorph Felix let out a struggling groan phasing the monster halfway into the ground trapping it. Fee fell to the level underneath as a group of scientists battered and bruised all aimed guns at him. “Felix? Felix!? Look we’re saved! You must get us out of here those things! We’re the only ones left, and we had to leave so many behind and even Sarah locked herself up and refused to trust anyone.”

“Sarah is safe along with Sprinkles, let’s move people!” Metal being shredded could be heard from above as the chrome Xenomorph came crashing down with a heavy landing causing everyone to scream in panic. Standing between the scientists and the Xenomorph Felix moved slowly with the creature who seemed to be trying to get to the weaker prey first. Pointing his index finger at the creature he’d skip the incantation not wanting the Xenomorph to have time to react but that ultimately makes a spell weaker. “Way of binding sixty-one, six rod light prison!” A spark of yellow energy shot forth breaking into six rods that bound the Xenomorph in place unable to move.

“Come on, come on!” He directed the scientists to follow the group and ran up the stairs. Light cracked like glass around the Xenomorph as it broke the spell giving chase running up flights of steps only to be kicked back down a flight by Sonido who was positioned for a sneak attack. Explosive charges dropped down the stairwell as Felix jumped from rail to rail ascending the base. “Open the portal!”

“Negative Sonido we can’t open the portal if you don’t have eyes. Where are the agents?” Sampson responded.

“They’re waiting at the platform!”

“You’re going to need to scan them before we even think about opening a portal Sonido if you pick up anything strange execute them.”

Running out of the base to meet the slightly relieved group seeing him only for the portal not to open. Lowering his left eye cover the interface displayed the biometrics of those in front of him only. “Damn…” He said looking the group of five over. Firing quick shots through three of the scientists the rays of light would leave them hollow with burning flesh.

“Aaah no, no please!” The remaining two begged for their lives but they weren’t impregnated by the creatures. “Felix please don’t, we just want to go home!” The last male cried as he clung to the female next to him almost protectively. “We weren’t with them originally they came to the lower level only shortly before you came, I swear!” It was the look of hysteria met with the cold he killed them faster than the monsters did.

“Quiet both of you!” Felix said turning his back and letting inhaling sharply and letting out a ballistic scream which made the duo cover their ears in pain. Blue and teal sound waves turned a crimson red as his scream lowered in pitch causing the base to shake violently and set off the charges before a huge explosion engulfed the once prominent base. Hopefully, that thing went down with it but knowing Pewter it wouldn't survive the blast and no longer be his problem.

A dramatic turn on the heels of his feet as Felix shoved his hands into his pockets, he’d walk through the portal to the other side with dark circles around his eyes and a bit pale from the blood loss he’d walk right by the hysterical scientists and skip the med team ready for his evaluation. “The hell was that Sampson I had them out!”

“They were compromised and a liability, you never had a problem executing people before based on the previous records.” Sam replied closing out computer programs.

“Those people were happy to see me, they felt like they had a chance because I was there, so now imagine how they felt getting out of a vile situation only to have to get gunned down by their goddamn rescuer!”

“I didn’t hear you complaining when the order went out you ignore orders all the time but then you suddenly listen to one and get mad about it!” Sampson yelled back but took a step back as Felix walked upon him.

“Say that again I want you to, you’re the f***in’ problem here not me. If I had more time maybe I would have been able to think of an alternative.”

“No, you’re just getting soft Arcos-“

“Alright, that’s enough!” Captain Helen Marshall pulled Felix away from Sampson. “Arcos take your ass to the med bay that’s an order. Agent West in my office right now.”

Rescue and Demolition P1

Blog Theme: Sonido Space Theme

“Your mission is an S rank today Felix, as you know there was an expedition on planet B13. The team sent in is no longer responding and we can’t lose them. This will be a search and rescue mission if you are able to locate the scientist and the guards and they are compromised and eliminate them. Data had been uploaded about the creatures they came across and it would seem the team has caught the alien’s attention. While trying to rescue a sick team member one of the creatures’ young bursts from inside of him through his back destroying his ribcage. Due to the nature of this mission, you will be heading in alone, unfortunately, anyone else could only make the enemy stronger if caught. Stealth is needed so the course of suggested action is that you keep the screaming down to a minimum, conserve your energy for phasing and use your blasters as the primary form of attack.”

“What does the S stand for I know what it stands for normally, but I feel like it stands for suicide in this instance. This enemy is a parasite using people as incubators and I get the pleasure of being the operative handpicked for this? Fine but I swear I’ve had my fill of aliens inside me after the Astral Spike incident.”

It wasn’t long for the brief in fact it was straightforward. Go to the office, get informed about some outrageous event, item, or creature, and then go and handle the problem. From the office to the portal station many agents seemed to have an awkward silence filling the room beside the sound of machinery. “I’m not going to die everyone cheer up, I’m bringing our people home.” Fee said putting on his air regulator.

“That is if they aren’t compromised, I bet, no one would want you to bring back a virus. Just take care that you don’t end up dead or infected.” Lucy said as she bumped Felix lightly. “When you get back, I’ve got a surprise for you. So do your thing, bring back the bacon and we can go witch-hunting when you get back and rest up.” White light flashed as a portal opening for Felix connected to the station the previous squad had set up opened.

“Then on our next free day, I’ll call you.” He said pressing the button on his air control device. Hexagonal shapes formed over his skin before clearing up displaying an LED of 100% air capacity. (Think of it as an advanced astronaut’s helmet without the hindrance of vision or chunkiness.)  Jumping down into the portal he’d drop down onto a carrier that had been completely ravaged with claw marks, broken glass, and blood. “I’ve landed turning on visuals now.” A live feed of what Felix saw was opened on a large screen for control to see and make commentary on.

“First mission back on the job and it’s off Earth how lucky for me.” Felix jumped off the vehicle examining the marks. The sound of high pitch screeching caused him to stealth immediately jumping on top of the backing away from the vehicle quickly as two tall creatures came running over the vehicle as if they had come to examine it as well. Tracks leading from the research base meant that there were people trying to escape but were run down. It’s probably where possible survivors were and where these things set up a nest. “Control I’m engaging the enemy.” He said in a whisper as he was immediately met with disapproval. “Sonido you do not engage those things do you read me?”

“Control I have to test these things, if I can’t beat two of them what use will I be going into that base?” Becoming visible he was up in a tree the moonlight skies were clear and fighting an enemy all in black would be less than ideal, but the light was a luxury. Firing a blaster of blue light knocking one of the creatures into the car the other screeched turning around sharply taking notice of Felix as he jumped down from his tree branch. On all fours, the creature ran forward with haste a lunge forward with claws ahead of Felix dodged to the right firing a blast from his gun it seemed to only be able to physically push the monsters and wasn’t doing damage. “This gunslinger variation isn’t going to work, switching to Panther stance.” He said in his comm keeping his eyes on the creatures who recovered quickly.

The smaller creature came running from around the car only to have been reversed by Felix who stopped the swipe and pulled the creature in close. “What the hell is he doing?” Sampson one of the agents watching the feed. Not to say the feats of scrapping with aliens with steel-like exoskeletons and razor sharps claws with a blade-like tail to match were unheard of from the powered agents but this was different for Sonido since he had limited oxygen and the screams would take probably at least 20% per yell on a minimum. “These things have no face. Then how are they tracking me?” Claws digging under the jaw of the alien Felix ripped the head clean off the creature’s body sending acidic blood splashing out. “F***!” A swift roundhouse kick to the charging Xenomorph behind him sent the alien crashing through a tree tossing the head aside.

“Sonido on your 6.” A larger alien had been rushing towards him. The blood was slowly eating through his jacket, but he didn’t have the time to pay attention to it. With a backflip, Felix landed on the alien’s back phasing himself and the creature into the ground but only Felix came back up. “This is going to be a tough one.” Letting out a scream causing the remaining monster to burst into a pale-yellow explosion of blood his oxygen went down to 84%. “Don’t say it but I needed to find out what it takes to kill these things. Stealth from here on out though when I can, it’s possible they can feel me with no eyes, or nose that rules out sight and smell… But what if the eyes just aren’t visible?” Removing his jacket, he’d toss it to the side. Burning a symbol of oblivion into the palms of his hands using the acidic wound of an alien he’d take off running now fully focused and determined that he wasn’t going to go in there and get slaughtered without a chance.”

Muffled steps silenced by light feet and sound control Felix ran straight through the gated perimeter of the research facility immediately met with bloodied walls and trails as if something or someone had been dragged deeper into the facility running through walls on the upper level he came across a few aliens but he was in and out of the room so fast with phasing. “Nice pace Arcos… Behind you, something small coming in fast.” Sampson said over the comm. “It’s Sprinkles!” The grey cat jumped onto Felix’s shoulder purring. “How is Sprinkles okay did the aliens not care about him?”

“Sprinkles, hey baby.” Felix said holding onto the cat as he phased through the ground. “I’m not letting Sprinkles fend for himself.” It wasn’t in his character to let that happen even Sampson knew that but one hand going through the base was an unneeded handicap. “I’m not hearing any sort of talking Sampson.” High pitched screeching over the radio meant that Felix came across another alien. “Sonido? Sonido? Felix!?” Sampson called over the radio since he didn’t hear anything after the screech. “Hang on!” Phasing through another wall as his molecules began to sting from the constant phasing and now also with Sprinkles if he kept up the phasing extraction would be extremely difficult especially if he found a lot of people.

“Felix…” Sarah the Biochemist covered in blood held a scalpel towards him. “Did one of those things get on your face?” Motioning for her to be quiet Felix stepped closer to her the fur on Sprinkles’ back standing straight up as he handed Sarah one of his two blasters. The monster in the vent slipped through as it entered the bow empty room crawling around as if checking the area to see if it could sense something.

Panting Felix asked Sarah the dire question. “Where is… Everyone else?”

“Either dead or taken, it’s possible that some are still alive but once one of the creatures popped out of Paul Smith things took a turn for the worst.”

“Paul Smith… Paul Smith… Pewter? I was under the impression that you all had a standard guard but if these things take on the physical characteristics as the host, then that means there’s an even more defensive one of these things running around here. Come on!” Grabbing Sarah by her arm ran to the stairwell which led up to the main floor not that he needed to hold her because the scientist was clinging to him scared for her life. “I’m going to need you to not freak out on me Sarah if you see one tap me three times on my shoulder but do not make a noise. “Silencio por favor el gato.” As Sprinkles looked at him Felix pulled Sarah along up the stairs encountering what was obviously a face-hugger crawling down the stairs quickly jumping at the trio only to be reduced to ash by a shot fired from Felix’s blaster. With careful steps, they inched their way to the top where Felix opened the door slowly eyes darted from left to right then checked the ceiling before he pulled Sarah along luckily, they were able to evade confrontation and he was able to get Sarah and Sprinkles out of the base where they were evacuated and put into quarantine immediately once a path was opened. Before the portal closed three things were tossed to Sonido as the agent said quickly. “Bombs and a second oxygen.” In truth, he didn’t need the oxygen for the air he needed it for the protection of having what could be considered a shield over his head and that’s what the oxygen was for.

‘Maldito estoy fuera de forma.’ Felix thought to himself but at least he got two saved so far. The path down to the lower levels was met with few scares but he also knew he had Sampson on comms while others watched his blind spots. The deeper levels were sure to house more monstrosities and even a chromatic alien could possibly be found. How any one of the scientists could survive down there would be a miracle and a half. With the new directive of blowing the place up in with charges in the absolute lowest level rescuing and demolition were his top objectives but could he do it without pushing himself too far?

Vaal Lux Encounter

Characters:
Felix Arcos
Tamara Blake
Song:
https://youtu.be/WbhwIqo6tmI
Traitors deserved death all who turned their backs on the Vaal Lux were killed but this was a special case. Felix had defected from the cult many years ago and had gone through therapy to rehabilitate him the traumatic experiences that he had encountered. In a car outside of Felix’s townhouse sat Tamara. A Cherokee woman with long black hair down her back which flowed like a water, sun kissed skin, and dark brown eyes. Her goal was to make Felix remember where he’d come from so that he would come home, should she be unsuccessful in that then she would force him home.

Moonlight peering through blinds as Felix sat looking out the window from his dark room. ‘Ugh.’ “Alright let’s just get something to eat.” He said to himself throwing on a black t-shirt and a random pair of grey joggers. Stepping out of his place he’d lock his door behind him and proceed down to the sidewalk not making it far before Tamara came jogging by and fake tripping.

“Oh my gosh!” She yelled grabbing onto him. “Wow thank you for not letting me fall I could have broken my arm or something.” She said with a chuckle taking a look at his face. “Hey I know you.” She said with enthusiasm in her tone. “Felix?”

A smile grew upon his face when she said his name, but he was honestly weirded out that this woman called him by his first name, and she didn’t seem at all familiar. “Do I know you?” He chuckled out helping her back onto her own feet. “It’s me Tamara from high school! She said trying to see if he would remember that part of his life.

“I can’t say that I remember you from high school, you went to SAS? Which class were you in?” He asked her as she responded. “2014, I know you were in 13 but I had the hugest crush on you. When you sung at the talent show in your senior year I was blown away. I just knew you were going into the entertainment industry but as one would expect I was too shy to say anything to you at the time, I doubt you even noticed me… That seems to be the usual thing that happened when I run into our old schoolmates. Anyways though what happened afterwards?”

Sad part was that Felix didn’t remember her, but he also didn’t want her to feel bad since she said not a lot of people actually do remember her. “Maybe if we were in the same class, I would have interacted with you more. What’s your name again?” He looked to the left away from her when she asked him about what happened after high school but then her questions started flowing in. “Well I-“

“Are you heading somewhere now? I was just running back to my car if you want to grab a bite to eat. We can catchup that is unless you were going somewhere special with those grey sweatpants on. Any lucky lady in your life?” Truth be told Fee was still stuck on what happened after high school bit. “You know it’s one thing not to remember me from school but to not remember my name at all you player… That hurts, check this out.” Pulling out her phone she’d show him a picture of Luxio, Felix, and herself at his 22nd birthday party.

Frowning he looked at the phone as she smiled. “N-no I spent my 22nd birthday with my family.” It was clearly him in the photo with her and some random guy.

“So, you think that I photoshopped this?” Intertwining her fingers of her free hand with his he’d pull away gently not wanting to be rude. “You seriously don’t remember this? Wow, now I thought I had a selective memory, but you are taking the cake on this one.” Scrolling through the gallery of photos she’d then stop on one in particular that brought a pink tint to his face. “Vaal Lux for life, right?” Tamara smirked thinking she had been jogging memories in his head.

“Look I have to go. I would say it was nice running into you, but you actually ran into me. Be careful and try to get some more supportive shoes it would help with the falling and tripping a lot.” Turning away from her he’d hear her say. “Not so fast Pantera, or should I say Ghost Panther?” Uncapping a canister of water on her left hip she pull the liquid out to whip towards him wrapping around his throat forming a water bubble around his head. Had he expected that he would have held his breath but the water was going up his nose and down his throat drowning him. Looking around before dragging the man back to the door of his townhouse she’d form an ice block shoving it in through the keyhole making a fake key which she turned to unlock the door.

Once inside she’d slam the door only releasing the water control once she figured he had enough water in his lungs. “Tell me who the Vaal Lux are Felix.” She said aggressively listening to him coughing up water. “I don’t know what you’re talking about lady!” He choked out which made her shrug. “Then I guess we are going to be here a while.” Attempting to punch him in the phase only to hit the hard wood floor because he phased, she Yelled out. “Son of a bitch!”

Washing Felix across the decorated floors knocking over tables and soaking the living room rug. “Can’t scream and yell if you’re waterlogged I’d like to see you phase through liquid!” Her initial sneak attack set the tone for the night as she pretty much had him beat after hours of torture and even her own form of waterboarding him in his own house Felix’s attempts at counters relied on physical hits but she seemed to liquify upon contact. Faucets running, bathtub overflowing Felix felt his body moving on its own and the feeling was an excruciating pain. Blood on fire he’d hear his bones cracking as he twitched under her control of blood bending, slowly lifting up off of his feet coming face to face with her. “Say his name.” It was to her surprise when spit had hit her cheek. He spat on her! “You spat on me!?” Going overboard she’d clench her hands into fists as blood began to trail from his ears and mouth.

“You f***er! You always thought you were better then everyone else and now look at you bloody with amnesia. I would say you got what you deserve but you don’t deserve happiness you traitorous piece of sh*t!” Throwing him into a wall she didn’t let go of her blood bending grasp knocking him around. His body couldn’t take anymore of the abuse it reached the point where there was too much internal damage. Getting bold with her victory she didn’t even bother covering his body up as she dragged Felix out of the house soaked footsteps and his drenched clothes leaving a trail of water in her path before tossing her missions objective into the trunk of her cheap little escort car that would blend going under the radar as just another broke person driving a lemon.

Shirakawa Showdown!

Character list: Name: Role
Felix "Sonido" Arcos: Controller
Gary O’Conner: Team Medical professional
Seonkyoung "Lucy" Jin: Sensory unit

A heavy sigh came from Gary as he glanced over at Seonkyoung who had been sitting beside him. The raven-haired woman had her arms crossed foot tapping from her own irritation since one member was late to this very important briefing. “Relax lass he’ll be here not even past 15 minutes yet.” The Irishman said since Lucy had a tendency to get angry and say something that most people would find to be hurtful.

“Is he always late or?” Another agent asked since he was ready to fill the team in on what they were going to be doing. Luckily Felix came walking through the door at this moment literally through the door not even opening it. “I’m sorry guys I had one hell of a morning. There was a piece of lettuce in the urinal though, I mean who eats a sandwich while going to the bathroom? Disgusting.” He said as he took a seat. Motioning his shoulder to try and get the knot out of his upper back.

“Probably the person that was trying to make it to their briefing on time,” Lucy said as Felix practically ignored her comment already knowing how she was. “The team is all here Ray go ahead with the briefing.”

“Excellent, let me start by saying good morning to all of you. The three of you have been carefully selected by the higher-ups to investigate a claim of a devilish canine-like creature.” Ray said as Felix added. “Hell hound.” The man then said. “Right, well it’s described as being highly aggressive and the size of a…” Flipping the page he glanced up at the team. “And these are the translated words of the witness the demon dog is the size of a small house.” Gary shook his head “The hell are we gonna do fightin’ a house-sized dog, shoot it?”

“More importantly why did it leave a survivor? Let’s see the witness.” Lucy said as an image was projected of the survivor in the center of the table along with her stats. “An 87-year-old woman survived an attack from a giant demon dog.” Disbelief in her voice as she then added. “Prime suspect she’s controlling the dog and having it eat the people that get on her nerves she might not even be doing it on purpose.”

“Could be, or the dog isn’t seeing her as a threat, nor would it probably not want old food. Who knows but we can’t say for sure until we can check things out for ourselves?” Felix said as he leaned back in his chair checking on the death toll. “Yikes… We need to get out there ASAP Shirakawa had a population of 1630 people and this… Odo-Garon killed 489 people so far. That’s a staggering 30% of the population gone from just one dog.”

Granted said dog is the size of a house and if people are the main source of food for it then it seems about right since this thing has been just a myth for so long. That aside don’t get killed and good luck. You’ve got an hour to prepare yourselves and get the gear that you need, the portal will open exactly one hour from now. Do not be late, it takes a lot of energy to keep those gates open. “All three of us will be there on time don’t worry.” Lucy stood up with a bow before leaving the room. “Thank you for your time and information, Agent Rey.” The agents left the meeting room and went their separate ways. Felix went to the locker room for his first stop grabbing his uniform he’d take a quick shower before getting dressed in the custom suit made especially for him by Joy down at research and development. In fact, that was the next stop he had put in a special order and had just enough money to pay for the project.

Crossing paths with a few familiar faces as he had made his way to R&D Felix stopped at the counter seeing his favorite nerd. “Hey, Kitty.” Joy said excitedly to see Felix who replied. “What’s up nerd?”  “Hey, don’t call me that!” She replied which Fee responded. “We’re even then because I can’t stand being called Kitty.” Laughing at her dismay he’d then go on to ask. “You got something for me?”

“Yeah actually, finished your project last week, y’know for someone that doesn’t want to be called kitty you really take the whole cat persona to a new level, give me a sec.” Going to the secured weapons vault she ran her biometrics in order to retrieve a pair of midnight blue and black gloves with a pair of boots for him. “Black Rock infused retractable claws on the boots and gloves completed with armored threading, stone toe boots with cloaking tech to just like your suit that will vanish when you do. Don’t worry everything inside will vanish to so feel free to wear socks.” With a smile, she slid the items towards him and pulled out a tablet. “Sign here, stating that you picked them up and also thanks for funding this I was able to get the project done with $100 to spare and you should be seeing that back in your account in about four to five days.”

“Ah, you are awesome Joy!” Felix said trying on the glove which fit perfectly as the claws extended out of the fingertips with the motion of his hand. “Oooh yeah, these babies have a curve to them. By the way, I don’t like kitty because it makes me sound like a house cat.”

Snorting with a laugh she’d fix her glasses. “Felix da Housecat.” Smiling back at her he’d shake his head. “Oh, yeah people say that crap to me all the time. To be correct my old persona before the Bureau was Panthera, so I still have some of the fighting style preferences hence the claws and what not but I’m beyond that now. Oh sh*t, gotta go I need to deploy.” Turning on the heels of his shoes he’d get ready to head back to the locker room so that he could put his old boots away along with the gloves and grab his bag of clothes slinging the duffle over his shoulder he’d lock up and head to the gate just in time with Gary to meet up with Lucy who had already been there.

“You boys ready?” She asked them to get confirmation before signaling the agents to open the path. “Good to go,” Felix said as Lucy signaled the portal team to open the way. The three agents walked through the gate as she said. “We are heading south near Hakusan National Park! I might be able to pick up a scent on this Odogaron… What are you doing!?” Seon said since the noise from the portal was loud and they had to wear noise-canceling gear to protect their hearing. The question went towards Felix who had on a pair of AirPods dancing to some music playing in his ears.

“He can’t hear this stuff lass it’s like he got a high form of selective hearin’!” Gary said wishing he had that power. Once the trio made it through and the portal closed, they were met by a team who took their bags from them Seonkyoung doing most of the talking since she actually knew the Japanese language herself. Translating when needed she led the team through the camp since there were a few key people they needed to speak to but didn’t speak English. As they were led through the scenic mountainous region there was an odd silence no birds or wildlife making mating calls there were only leaves rustling in the wind and Felix’s headphones Lucy decided to play a little game whispering. “Hey, Felix can you hear me?”

“…” He was currently rocking his head to a tune before she said. “I knew it he can’t hear us.” Watching him before he responded. “Of course, I can hear you.” He replied before he pulled the AirPods out of his ears. “I can hear all of this stuff tire tracks when we roll over a rock. If I wanted to, I could listen to the sound of everyone’s hearts at work but then that wouldn’t be a good song to listen to.” The off-terrain Jeep came to a halt as the driver said. “This is the last place Odogaron attacked.” Pulling up to a ransacked and ravaged neighborhood the agents hopped out of the vehicle since now seeing the destruction this beast had caused with their own eyes made the severity just a tad bit scarier.

“Damn,” Gary said walking up to a house looking at the strange claw markings that shredded through the walls in clean swipes. “Things claw is about as big as me ‘ead. What’dya need in order to track this thing a meadow muffin’?” He asked Lucy as he turned to look back at her. “Gross but it would be effective, as one would expect there are a lot of scents around here.” Pulling her goggles down over her eyes she’d look at the ground seeing the many human footsteps silver eyes jotting back and forth as the female then walked over to the claw marks that Gary found and traced them with her fingers. A soft sigh escaped her lips seeing inside of the house with all the blood splatters from the murders.

“I’m picking up on something,” Lucy said following a trail being mapped out on her goggles interface. “This beast might be smarter than your average dog climbing up on a steady ladder to get on the roof of a house to get a higher perspective. “Got it.” Spotting a paw print she’d keep in the same direction to see the trail suddenly stop. “Nani? Sonido, third house 8 o’clock from your current position.

Felix currently had his hood up over his head checking the streets and a few houses in the meantime but when he heard Lucy he stopped what he was doing and checked the place of interest. “Copy on it now.” Phasing his head through a wall he was met with a destroyed house completely faltered in the back. He’d phase again to see the basement of an untouched shrine candle still lit with wax slowly trailing down the sides. “There’s some sort of shrine, the candles are even still lit…” Looking around scanning the area over he’d step towards the shrine as he saw a stuffed animal in the center of a beagle. “You’ve got to be fvcking kidding me, someone summoned this creature. Most likely died for it too.” He added as Gary said over the communicator. “On my way.”

Once the 40-year-old red beard made it to the basement he’d step down the stairs asking him. “Where are ya?” Followed by Lucy coming down the stairs just to see an empty basement. “Arcos, we are in the basement where are you exactly? In the basement, I went through the floor.” Felix responded.

“What? Gary and I are both in the basement and there’s nothing here. Do you see the stairs? Come back up and meet us outside.” Lucy said motioning for Gary to follow. Felix himself went back up the stairs heading out of the house only to be met with the night sky and the same ravaged town. “It’s nighttime. I uh I had to be transported or something probably a defense mechanism for secrecy?” Looking down at the floor he’d see the many paw prints. “Mirror reality Odogaron shifted out of between the two wreaking havoc.”

“An if it’s not here then,” Gary said before the sound of the roar was heard through the earpieces. Resting on top of the house upon seeing the man walk out the black beast with blood-red claws roared out black smoke and red lightning forming in its mouth. “Sh*t!” Clapping his hands together a soundwave was let out only to be dodged by the beast that jumped over the attack and landed on the ground slowly walking towards him only to howl. “This thing is bigger than a house!” Felix said taking off running. It fit the description in terms of shape but the size and color were off it was described as being red. “Fvck, there’s the red one!” He said as he turned the corner.

“He’s bein’ outnumbered by a pack’a dogs!” Gary said as Lucy concentrated on how to try to find a way to the other side. Crimson Odogaron was the one that fit the description of this ebony one, however, was obviously the alpha of the duo… trio. Running straight through a wall Felix flipped as he saw the faltering of the structure once one of the beasts ran into the wall. Tapping his communicator off not to deafen his teammates Sonido let out a scream that blasted through the wall sending one of the crimson dogs flying only to have the ebony one burst in through the roof serrated claws ten on each paw extended. Felix backflipped out of the way vanishing from sight. The two dogs sniffed the air before the black one turned and roared at the red one as if it was warning it only to see the red one pounced upon by the man. Black claws hooking into the flesh of the smaller Odogaron causing it to whine out in pain jumping around trying to get the man off of it. Hopping around frantically the crimson pup ran out of the building followed by the ebony dog bucking around and crashing into structures only to be eventually phased through. Hopping up the pup's spine Felix saw the black eyes of the pup before he let out a yell into the dog's ear visible orange energy flowing in sound waves before the pup's head exploded.

Ebony Odo howling seeing the death of its pup as the smaller dog's crimson body stood still only to fall over lifeless with blood spewing from where its head once was. Frenzied the second crimson Odo returned to see its sibling dead. Both Odo’s howling out as the black one sweeps its tail towards Felix causing dust to raise up in the air like a smokescreen. Being tackled by the crimson pup with a headbutt Felix was sent flying into the air only to be retrieved by the ebony Odo which caught him in a bite.

“Ah!” Felix struggled to get out of the grip of the hell hound but the suit was literally saving his life right now from that armored stitching. Tossed like a lightweight into a building sending rubble crashing down on top of him. ‘Ugh, how much of this can I take?’ He thought to himself phasing through the rubble. Jumping up on top of a building thanks to prime athleticism and another worldly connection such a feat was possible for him it’s also why he was muy duradero. Raising his right-hand balancing on the tip of the roof he’d do a spin before clapping both of his hands together in front of him forming an upside-down triangle (symbol of The Board aka the ones in charge of the bureau) with the alpha insight he’d inhale remembering how the trio of Odogaron behaved… ‘Play on the mothers' weakness.’ Lux’s words came to his memory. Shifting his sight to the smaller crimson pup he’d frown as red veins crept into his white eyes from the stress coming to his body. Inverting his hands so that the triangle was right side up Felix inhaled sharply before yelling out sound waves focusing through the hand symbol. “Pereceeeeeeeeeer!!!” His altered vocals sounded like there was a high-order demon yelling a command to its army while the others yelled in various voices all at once. The sound waves rushed the land as the Ebony Odogaron saw the trajectory and went to grab her pup attempted to get it out of the way of the attack only for both of the foul dogs to be swept away the crimson pup had flesh ripped clean off of its body the horrific vocals accompanied by the sound of shattering glass as an alternate reality broke shards of glass falling revealing the sunlight a huge cone-shaped crater formed from the blast range into the Earth.

Hearing the yell break the barrier between the two realities The agents on the other side covered their ears in pain as they heard the tail end of the attack. Sonido shifted from side to side before falling off the side of the roof sliding down to have his claws catch the edge preventing him from hitting the ground. “Arcos!” Lucy yelled after a bit of searching only to find him hanging off the edge of a house. Covered in blood sunlight shone down brightly casting a shadow which she spotted. “I am so sorry!” She said as she saw him hanging there as Gary told him. “Let go, I’ve gotcha.” Claws retracted as he was caught by the older man.
“Don’t carry me, bridal style…” Felix said through strained vocals before passing out. Of course, agent O’Conner carried him bridal style as a joke. “Told ya this guy is insane.” He said to Lucy who looked over the blast range and clear volatile nature of his power with raised brows. “I’m just glad he wasn’t in the Oldest House when the Hiss attacked. HQ the pack of Odogaron is down and being contained now. Arcos is getting medical attention full debrief when we are back at base. Considering there is a part we are missing due to a shift in reality we’ll have to have him tell his side of the story when he’s better.” Ending the transmission as a responder replied. “Copy.” She turned her communicator down taking a look at her partner as he was loaded onto the vehicle. Turning around one more time seeing the damage she’d snap a picture of it from the span of the building they found him on to the edge of the blast zone. “Let’s get the hell out of here.” She said as a portal opened up and a cleanup team came began emerging to contain the live but crippled ebony Odogaron that laid on the ground twitching. A second portal opened up for the team to be driven through as O’Conner checked on Felix’s vitals. “Lass… He’s good.” The older man said in shock no way he did all of that and was fine. Then again he was one of the agents talked about as a possible candidate for Ops Commander.
