On a dreary evening in 1918, Edward found himself battling the Spanish influenza, a deadly pandemic that claimed countless lives. His parents, concerned for his well-being, brought him to the hospital in a desperate attempt to save their son. However, fate had other plans. Edward's parents succumbed to the illness, and in his weakened state, Edward hovered on the brink of death. It was during this dire moment that Dr. Carlisle Cullen, a compassionate and centuries-old vampire, found Edward in the hospital. Unable to let the young man die, Carlisle made a life-altering decision. To save Edward, he turned him into a vampire, granting him immortality and supernatural abilities.Awakening to a new existence, Edward faced the challenge of adapting to his vampiric nature. Carlisle, who had long resisted the temptation of human blood, mentored Edward in the practice of feeding only on animal blood to quench his thirst without harming humans.Edward's transformation into a vampire marked the beginning of his eternal life, forever frozen in the physical form of a 17-year-old. As he grappled with the complexities of his new existence, Edward embarked on a journey that would lead him to encounter love, danger, and a destiny intertwined with the mysterious world of vampires.Upon his transformation into a vampire, Edward Anthony Masen became a crucial member of the Cullen family, a coven of vampires led by the compassionate and morally-driven Dr. Carlisle Cullen. The Cullens, unlike other vampire covens, chose to live a more "vegetarian" lifestyle, abstaining from human blood and feeding only on the blood of animals.
Edward's integration into the Cullen family wasn't without its challenges. Initially, he grappled with the ethical dilemma of preying on humans for sustenance. However, under Carlisle's guidance, he learned to control his instincts and adhere to the Cullen family's unique dietary choices. This shared commitment to a non-human diet bonded the Cullens, creating a family dynamic that transcended their vampiric nature. Over the decades, Edward's special ability, telepathy, became a valuable asset to the Cullen family. His mind-reading abilities allowed them to navigate various challenges and dangers, providing an invaluable advantage in their interactions with both vampires and humans. Edward's life took a significant turn when he encountered Isabella Swan, a human girl whose thoughts were a mystery to him due to her mental shield. However, this gift becomes a challenge due to the constant influx of unfiltered thoughts. In addition to his mental prowess, Edward has the standard physical enhancements common to vampires. He boasts superhuman strength, allowing him to effortlessly lift heavy objects and engage in combat with formidable opponents. His superhuman speed allows for swift movement, whether it be hunting prey or traversing long distances. Hello there. I just wanted to stop by and say thank you for accepting my request and to introduce myself. I’m Brielle Swan…I’m kind of Bella’s twin sister. {queue the eyerolls} I know, I know. Sound the alarm we’ve got another one. In my experience I get usually something like people pre-judge me because of the whole twin thing or they won’t even give me a chance for the same reason. So here’s your out now.
Now I’m primarily canon, or well canon adjacent but I do have a bit of an AU twist ofc due to the nature of my character. My storyline doesn’t change too much of the original story so I can easily just insert my character in. She is the imprint of Jacob but that can be changed if my writing partner doesn’t feel comfortable with that adjustment. I am flexible and understanding enough to adjust my character to suit my writing partners preference.
I do have a cliff notes version of my storyline which you can find here if you wanted to skim over some quick details. If you have any questions about it I’d be more than happy to answer. I do hope that we’re able to get something going. I have been itching to write for the last month now. I hope to hear from you soon.
Much love, Brielle Swan
