Drabble # 15 Sundowning
Current mood:  awake

Sonja looked over to to her ex-husband before looking back to the grass below her feet, taking a breath before turning away from him. The last thing she wanted was to lose Lucian, and she knew if she went with Jacob it would be over.. not only her marriage but her own life. Turning away as she heard Jacobs pleas to her, Sonja couldn’t listen to him. Her own mind was made up and she wasn’t backing down to him, to her losing him meant nothing.. but to lose Lucian, the one man she has loved since she was a child now that would hurt more than death itself. Sonja walked to her front door as she stopped hearing the voices behind it, her heart dropping as she heard her daughter speaking. Liza stood there next to her brothers and sister as she looked back to her dad, "I swear if mother went with him I will never forgive her, not after everything that motherf***er has done to us... I can’t trust him, and if she trusts him then how could we trust her?" Liza said to her father and siblings. Jerick sighed turning away from his sister, "Mother would never do that Elizabeth, mother loves Lucian she loves all of us.. Do not think so little of her Moon.." he said growing slightly angry at his sister for even thinking that his mother would return back to his fathers side.

Hearing her family as Sonja sat there silently crying, her mind racing againts herself as she questioned everything she’s ever done up until this moment. Was it all for nothing? Was she right for everything she has done in her eight-hundered and thirteen years of existing? In that moment she sat there wondering if she was better off dead, if her father killing her over six-hundered years ago would have been worth it in the end. As she sat there Sonja looked over to the woods, her eyes scanning the area making sure she didn’t notice any movement aroud the trees that surrounded her little house. Minutes passed that seemed to her like hours before the door behind her opened, looking up to see her husband as her head fell low as her waves fell around her frame. "I wanted him gone sooner, I-I didn’t want him around us.. Around our childeren.. I wanted us to be safe and for him to-" Sonja was cut off from her words feeling her husbands grasp. Hearing his words made her almost instantly calm, "I know, I am not upset or angry at you. I know you were trying to get him away as soon as you could, the childeren know what you were doing as well." Lucians’ words were gentle and kind towards his wife, he knew what she was trying to accomplish and that was to keep her family safe.

Sonja smiled lightly walking back into the house with her husband, seeing her childeren as her eyes locked onto her daughter Elizabeth. Sonjas’ smile faded into a sigh as she looked to her oldest child, "Elizabeth Moon I do not want to ever hear that I would leave your father for that man, I can not belive that you would even have that thought cross your mind ever.. You seen what he did to us, what hell he put not only me myself but what he put you through," she said as her voice started to fail her. Taking a breath as she sat down Sonja looked to all of her childeren, "If any of you think I would lose anything I have here to be with Jacob then I will say you do not know who your mother really is, or how much I fought to get away from that man to save Elizabeth and Jerick.. I am beyond upset that my own daughter thought so low of me, for how she thought that just because he came around I would jump back into his arms, I have done everything in my power to keep him away from us.. I would rather give up my own life than to have him around any of you, Lucian is my husband and he has been my husband for the past seven hundered or more years. I will never give that up or leave his side ever." she said trying to catch her breath. Running her hands through her hair as Sonja stood up, only to walk towards the glass doors that lead to the back of the property. As she went quietly she could hear her husband gently scolding his daughter about what she had said behind the closed door, feeling the cold breeze on her skin and seeing the moon high in the sky before gently resting against one of the oak trees.

Looking to the moon for guidance as a small smile came across her frame, "I now understand.. I wish you were still here mother, Hopefully you and father have found each other once more.. Hopefully he finally sees that I am happy in my life.." Sonja said quietly. Even after all the hurt that her father put her through, she learned that it had to be let go. As Sonja sat there a little sigh escaped her, her brown hues looking off to the woods as she seen a figure. After her ex had just been here she was worried he had come back, standing to her feet as she readied herself to start walking back to her house. Once the figure came into the moons light Sonja calmed seeing it was nothing but a little doe, taking a deep breath in as her body took a moment to realize it wasn’t in any danger. Sitting back down on her pourch as she smiled lightly trying to contain a small laugh as she finally realized that her body was back into it’s fight or flight mode, "How bloody lovely, well the ptsd hasn’t subsided after two-hundered years.. Fvckin hell, I guess this is what I deserve after the wars and bloodshed isn’t it? Well that’s quiet alright with me after all, through what you want at me I can handle it." she said lightly as she looked back to the moon. Hearing the little light footsteps beside her as Sonja smiled lightly not looking to her left, "Hello Emily." she said lightly knowing her neice was right beside her.

Drabble 14: His Love Remains
Current mood:  blessed

Sonja was in and out of consciousness as she heard her husband yelling for his son, before she could hear anything more her mind started drifting. Struggling to keep herself in the present hour with her husband and kids, all Sonja could do was try to keep her mind listening to them. Hearing her daughter scream as Sonja couldn’t do anything to comfort her, the only sound was a thud as her son Jerick held onto his older sister as she cried for her mother. “Alaric! Take Elizabeth from Jerick, Jerick call him.. I don’t want him near her but I have no other choice..” Lucian yelled as he held onto his wife, running a hand through her hair as his tears fell not wanting to lose her again, “Please Jerick I am begging you, please call him I can’t lose her again.” Lucian said as a plead to his son. Jerick stood there shocked that Lucian would not even hesitate to bring his father around his mother, seeing the fear in his eyes as Jerick picked his phone up dialing the number he hadn’t touched in years.

As Jerick pulled his phone out of his pocket it fell to the floor, he was shaking trying to calm himself as he searched for his fathers number through tears. Finding the number as he pushed call he was impatient walking in a circle as the number went to voicemail, trying again as he whispered pleads to himself that his father would answer. Elizabeth sat there silent until she heard his voice, the little girl in her screaming as she fumbled around with her words before hearing his voice. “Elizabeth? Darling what’s wrong? You haven’t called me in ages?” His voice was like low drum in her ears, Liza tried to take a breath but it was caught in her throat as she looked to the man who was her father. Liza looked at him with tears in her eyes as she mouthed ‘I’m so sorry daddy’ to Lucian, hearing his voice again in her ear as her heart stopped for a moment. Collecting herself felt like ages, “Daddy its momma… momma is dying…” Liza said through a broken voice and tears. Her phone was silent as Jacob her dad was in shock, as he heard his daughter call to him he lowered his head. Jacob stood up quickly as he grabbed his jacket slamming his front door shut behind him, “I’m coming princess, don’t let your mother fall asleep. I’m coming my love, I’ll be there soon.” He said before closing his phone before taking off running.

As the line went dead Elizabeth sat there, wrapping her arms around her torso as she cried. Liza didn’t want to call him but she feared she had no other choice, she knew her dad needed Jacob’s help and with her brother unable to reach him she had to do it. Lucian looked over to his daughter calling to her but noticing she wasn’t listening to him, looking over to his son Lucian sighed not wanting to let his wife out of his arms. “Alaric you and Kali come here please hold onto your mother and watch her I need to calm your sister down.” Lucian pleaded with them seeing his children immobile as he felt a hand on his shoulder, looking to Jerick as he nodded gently letting his wife go before walking over to his daughter. Elizabeth sat there completely immobile as she stared at the ground, a buzzing in her ear as she felt her fathers hands gently grabbing her arms, looking up as her eyes and ears focused on her father. Hearing a knock on the door as Liza gently grabs a hold of her fathers arm, he mind reacting to how she would as a young girl. Lucian looking down to see his daughter as he pulls her closer to him, “Here let us both go and answer it, I won’t let him hurt you or anyone in this house again my little wolf.” Lucian said with a smile before standing to his feet.

Jerick stood there watching his dad and sister open the door, seeing his blood father as Jerick lowered his head. Jerick moved over to his mother as he took her from his sibling, his mother was cold in his arms as he looked to his father trying to hold back tears. Jacob smiled lightly to his daughter and Lucian as he gently moved past them trying to get to Sonja and his son, as he sat down next to his son he gently took his “wife’s” body as he looked through his bag for a syringe. Sticking himself with the needle to draw out some blood for Sonja Jacob felt his sons head leaning on his shoulder, “Jerick she’s going to be fine son do not worry, your mother is very strong she can and will make it out of this.” Jacob said before removing the needle from his arm. Hesitating for a moment as Jacob looked to Lucian, “She will be fine… But this will re-link our souls together.” he said before putting the needle into Sonja’s chest making sure it went deep enough to puncture her heart.

Moments had past before Sonja finally took a breath, her blue hues looking up to her ex-husband as she looked from him to her son. Sonja’s eyes searching the room until she seen her husband Lucian standing not three feet from her as she smiled lightly to him, before she could say anything Jacob had pulled her up gently as he held her for a moment. Jacob’s hand gently brushing through his “wife’s” hair as he sat there with her, “How are you feeling?” Jacob asked with a shaky voice as he looked to her. Sonja looked up to her ex as she bit the inside of her cheek not knowing the answer to his question, this was the first caring moment between the two in one hundred and nineteen years. The first time Sonja has seen him since she left back in 1905, her heart fluttering a little as she looked from Jacob to Lucian.

Sonja stood up quickly as to get away from Jacob, when her legs attempted to move she felt herself falling. Lucian quickly running to her as he holds her up, seeing the worry in her eyes as all he could do was hold his wife close. Lucian looked down to Sonja as he kept her close, “It’s alright my love you are safe, just breath you’re going to be fine.” watching his wife’s expression changing from worried and scared to slightly calmer but still on the edge as he smiled lightly to her. Jacob sat there for a moment watching his “wife” making sure she was stable as his son Jerick and his “daughter” Elizabeth ran to their mother, seeing how happy his little “family” was with their new found family made his heart grow darker. Knowing he had to get out before something happened Jacob stood up collecting his things before leaving the room, hearing footsteps behind him as Lucian was coming to thank him for saving Sonja.

Jacob turned around seeing Lucian as he held a hand up before Lucian could speak, “No need to thank me, I didn’t do this for you… I did it for my son and Elizabeth..” he said with a sigh. Looking past his “wife’s” lover as he looks at how his love and children were holding each other, Jacob turned to walk away before feeling a hand around his arm. Jacob turned seeing Sonja’s hands gently holding onto his arm as he pulled her closer, his hand on the back of her head so he could hide his tears. After a moment Jacob gently pulled away from Sonja as he smiled lightly kissing her forehead, he knew this might be the last time he would ever see her. The pain in his chest grew as he turned and walked out of the house, disappearing behind the trees.

Sonja stood there beside Lucian as she watched Jacob walking back towards the forest, a sigh escaping her as she felt her two oldest running past her. Seeing her son and daughter running to the man they always knew as their father, hearing Elizabeth calling to the man she called dad for over 500 years. Watching her children hug the man the called dad before walking back to the house, Sonja’s eyes laid onto Jacob one final time as moved his lips without a spoken word. Sonja’s heart sank as she watched him saying he loved her, turning seeing her husband and children walking back into the house as she smiled through tears telling him she loved him as well before walking back into the house.

Drabble # 13 Lovers To Enemies
Current mood:  confident

It was a clear day in 1905, the sea salt breeze flowing around the decks as the Battleship cut through the oceans water. Sonja sat on the deck as she talked to a few of her shipmates, it didn’t matter to anyone that she was the wife of the captain. To everyone else she was just a Major who always cared to check on everyone, her children sat close by as Sonja’s eyes watched them closely. The beautiful sun high up in the sky with only a few clouds to chase it, the temperature was a bit hot but the cool breeze kept it settling at around 80-90 that day. As the breeze caught her hair Sonja tucked a flyaway hair behind her ear, hearing the over com with her husbands voice as he announced lunch was ready. Sonja watched everyone get to their feet heading to the mess hall, “Liza, Jerick come on let’s eat” she said waving her children to follow along. As the three of them walked through the ships corridors as Commander Mike gently pulled Sonja aside, Sonja’s brown hues searched his blue hues. Pausing for a moment knowing he needed to speak with her as she looked to her kids, “Go on I’ll be there shortly, Uncle Mike and I need to talk.” she said with a small smile. As the two little ones left her sight she looked up to Mike, “What’s wrong?” Sonja asked her head tilting to the side. Mike looked around them before sighing, “He wants to port at America, now I know things between the two of you have been rocky.” stopping himself to look around making sure not a soul was listening to them. “I know what you both are, along with the kids.” Mike stated before speaking again, “If you want to get yourself away from Jacob and run with the kids I can make sure we stop in London and I’ll make it an easy get away for the three of you.” Mike looked around again before looking down to Sonja. Not saying a word as all Sonja could do was nod her head and give Mike a gentle hug, she knew he had seen what Jacob does behind closed doors or possibly that he had heard them fighting recently. Before letting her go Mike looked back at her, “If he does anything tonight come to the deck, I’ll have a boat ready for you and the kids.” he whispered it in her ear before giving her another hug. Sonja smiled through tears as she nodded swiftly walking down the corridor wiping the tears from her eyes, tonight might be the night she finally gets away from her horrid husband. As she walked down the corridor she held onto her chest where the pendant had been centuries ago, as she reached the door to her quarters with her husband and two beautiful children she could hear them inside. Taking a deep breath as the put her hand on the door, her wedding ring basically glowing from the gentle light as a sigh escaped her body. Sonja feeling a person behind her as she looked back seeing Mike gently waving to him before hearing a loud crash from the room, flinging the door open with Mike at her side as they seen both of the kids on the floor with Jerick covering his sister. Before Sonja could even move Mike was already in the room pushing Jacob back against the wall of the room, Sonja running over to her kids as she looks to them both gently lifting Liza into her arms as Jerick sat next to her. “What the f*** are you doing Jacob? Those are your kids!” Mike yelled at his friend not letting him go, Jacob took a breath before he spoke. “My kids? Ha only ONE of them are my actual blood children, isn’t that right darling?” His words were like poison in the air, “Go on Sonja tell him how OUR oldest child isn’t even my blood child, how she isn’t anything but a bastard child from you and that wolf of yours.” Jacob pushed Mike off fixing his shirt. “Elizabeth isn’t even mine.” Jacob stated as he looked to his little family, “She is Lucian’s child, that disgusting Lycan who stole you away from me before I.” Jacob cut himself off not wanting to tell the story about how he brought Sonja back to life. Jacob took another breath before walking out of the room, slamming the door behind him as he left to go somewhere. Mike stood there looking to Sonja and the kids, his mouth agape as he looks to the kids. “One isn’t his?” He asked cautiously, seeing Sonja’s eyes fall to the floor he knew. “She’s your ex-husbands child isn’t she?” Mike asked sitting on the floor not far from them, seeing Jacob’s son getting closer to his mother and sister as Mike sighed. A few moments passed before Mike stood up, “Make sure everything is packed by tomorrow, I’ll have the ship dock in London and you three can get off then.” he said smiling to them. Seeing Jerick stand up Sonja worried for a moment before seeing her son giving Mike a hug, “Thank you..” Sonja said to Mike as she could only hold Liza close to her. Mike smiled and nodded, “If you need somewhere to stay safely tonight let me know, there is a room that is open for you if you need it.” He said before walking out making sure the door closed behind him. Sonja looked to her children seeing a bruise on Jericks arm, “Jerick Viktor what happened?” she asked gently taking his arm in her hands. Jerick just sighed and pulled his arm away, “Dad went after Lizzie… I stood between them so instead of him grabbing onto her he got me.” he said quietly looking to the floor of the room. Sonja pulled both of her kids close to her, what felt like an eternity was only a few moment before there was a knock on the door. Jerick hurried to his feet and opened it seeing Mike again, moving to the side so he could enter before Jerick shut the door again. Mikes face had dropped as he looked to the little family, “Jacob plans on killing your daughter before killing you, we are only an hour from London if suggest getting your bags ready and acting like nothing is wrong.” he said before looking to Sonja and he kids. Mike turning to Jerick, “You think you can do that for me son?” he asked seeing Jericks tears in his eyes. All Jerick could do was nod as he ran up to give Mike a hug again, “Yes dad I can do that we can be ready shortly.” Jerick wishing that he had his sisters father or possibly that Mike was his father and not that heartless vampire that was Jacob. As the hour marked down another knock was at the door, Sonja looking through the peep hole as she opened the door allowing Mike to step in. Mike looked at them and smiled lightly, “Come I have the boat ready to go, and don’t worry Jacob won’t see you he’s flat out drunk.” he said to the kids before turning to Sonja. “He is plastered drunk, and not a shock but in bed with another woman so trust me he won’t hear you leave.” Mike said gently picking up a bag before Master Chief walked in to help, Sonja thanked them both dearly as she stopped and looked around for a moment looking for her pendant. As all the bags were on the little boat Mike came back into the room seeing Sonja still looking for her necklace, “Missing something?” he asked seeing her looking through a drawer on the bedside table. Sonja turned and looked at him her hues blue before they settled back into her brown color, Mike nodded and walked over to the bookshelf that was engraved into the wall as he pulled a book out. As he opened it he pulled the necklace from it, gently handing it to Sonja before shutting the book putting it back in its place. As they walked through the corridor they walked past a room hearing her husband in there with another woman, all Sonja could do was hold her tongue not wanting to make a sound as they silently walked past the room. Outside on the deck the moon shone brightly against the black sky, the stars shining brightly as the chill of the wind caught them. Hearing the waves against the little boat that was lowered into the water as Sonja carefully watched her children board it, Mike looking to Master Chief as the decided who would go with them on the short distance to land. Mike looked to the little family and nodded as he got into the boat holding a hand out for Sonja, as the boat left the ship Sonja could finally breathe not noticing she was holding her breathe since they left the little room. Watching the battleship looming farther and farther away as she held her children close, her blue hues now changing back to the brown as she finally felt safe again. Smelling the salt water in the air as her hair blew with the wind, a single tear fell from her eyes. As the boat touched landfall Mike pulled it onto shore so he could help them, as everything was out of the boat Mike helped them into a little town. Walking closely with them as Mike walked into a little shop asking if any houses were for sale for his “wife” and children, as he walked out he sighed looking to Sonja and the kids. “Everywhere is booked with families, they said the best bet was going to to the forest and looking for a house.” Mike said as he pulled the kids close, “Don’t worry Major I will find somewhere for you and the kids, let’s go out this way of the woods someone said it’s a walk but there should be a nice house out that way.” as Mike said that he grabbed the bags walking with the family. As they walked for a while they seen a little house in a clearing with a lake behind it, Sonja smiled and wiped a tear away seeing the house. As her children ran to check it out Sonja and Mike walked behind them, seeing the children standing at the door patiently waiting on their mother and uncle. As the door opened to the house the children ran to see how many rooms it was, Sonja slowly walked into the house as she looked around. Mike stood there and cleared his throat gently setting the bags down, “I think you should be settled in by tonight, there are some wolves around but with your daughter being who she is you shouldn’t have any problems.” he said with a smile. Mike gently pulled Sonja into a hug whispering into her ear, “Your Lycan husband is alive I looked him up, don’t worry I’ll send word of where you are to Luka so she knows.” as he let her go he could see the tears in her eyes. As Mike left the house Sonja shut the door quietly behind him, making sure to watch as he left the woods so that he would be safe. Seeing a note on the bags as she opened it, ‘Don’t worry everything is here including your swords, Jacob won’t find you here you’ll be safe. Also I think a friend of yours lives in these woods, I think his name was Raze. You and the children will be safe here, take a breath Lucian should be HOME soon Major.’ sitting down on the couch as she read it. Tears fell as she smiled to the note, hearing a howl not far from her home as she knew Raze had already caught her scent.

No Time To Die #12

No Time To Die Drabble #12 As the door opened Sonja could barely keep her eyes open, knowing her body was starting to give out on her. Slowly looking over her husbands shoulder seeing her eldest daughter walking into the house a smile crept across her face, knowing to herself that she had to stay alive even if it was only for her family. “Elizabeth Moon” seeing her daughters face light up was the only thing that Sonja wanted, thinking to herself that no she’d stay alive. To her there was no time to die ever, she had to stay alive for as long as possible until she knew her babies were okay on their own. Looking up to her husband seeing slight fear in his eyes as she smiles sheepishly, she couldn’t leave him again she wouldn’t allow herself to do that to him. As the night went on, the little family party continued. Even if it was days before Liza’s birthday it didn’t matter, as long as Sonja had her family around she was happy. Taking a breath as she stood back seeing her little family enjoying the time that they have, Sonja leaned against the counter to help her stay upright. She knew the time was coming, after 800 years her body was starting to give out on itself. ‘No’ Sonja thought to herself, ‘No it’s not time, it’s too early to go… I can’t leave them like this, not again.’ shaking her head lightly at the thought. Slowly moving her body towards the living room trying to get to the fireplace, her body trembling at this point as she held onto the wall. As her legs gave out the only scream she heard was from her daughter Elizabeth, moments later feeling strong arms around her as her eyes slowly opened up. “My love look at me, you’re fine you’ll be alright..” Lucian told her whispering in her ear, his grip on her was tight but not as to harm her. A gasp escaping her body as her heart started to beat again, her hand slowly moving up to her husbands face gently resting on his cheek. Jerick stood there watching his mother and father as he ran a hand through his hair, his mind wandering as to how he could help his mother when the thought struck his mind. Without really a moment to think Jerick sunk his fangs into his wrist before running to his mother, being a pure-blood just like her.. Jerick knew this would at least help his mother for the next hundred years or so, as he sat next to his parents he looked to his father. Before Sonja could say anything to her son she felt her husbands gentle hands urging her to drink.

Fallen Down
Current mood:  accomplished

Fallen Down Drabble #11 The days had gotten shorter since winter had started in Paddington, even though the temperature was in the negatives outside the house was warm from the fireplace. Sonja sat there silently reading a book as her children were out at work along with her husband, it was a chilling Monday evening but she didn’t mind. Looking over to the grandfather clock that read 23:00 a smile crept up her cheeks knowing that her family would be home soon, putting a place holder in her book before getting up to make dinner. It was a late December night in 1955 the new year just a few days away. Sonja had to figure out what she also wanted to do for her eldest daughters birthday, knowing how Elizabeth was now she assumed the child might want a few books and maybe some new tarot cards. Even though her daughter was a hybrid of Sonja and her husband Lucian, the child still was interested in the things of witchcraft. Sonja didn’t mind it though, possibly the child was just trying to broaden her horizons and explore the unknown of the places between the living and the dead. An hour or so had past as Sonja heard the front door opening, looking over her shoulder so see her eldest son Jerick and his wife walking in. Sonja just gave them a small smile and proceeded into her baking, feeling her son standing next to her Sonja looked over to him. Jerick was in a black suit and his hair neatly combed back his brown hues watching what his mother was doing, “Would you like some help mother?” He asked. Sonja nodded and gently lifted a spoon with soup in it, still blowing gently on it as if her son was still small making sure it wasn’t too hot for him. Seeing his reaction to her made her smile a little bigger, Jerick knew his mother was getting older but he didn’t mind. To him she was still 300 years old young, nothing could take the beauty he saw in her. Jerick smiled kissing his mother on the forehead before grabbing things out of the fridge, he knew she was in need of a little help with dinner and possibly making a cake for his sister. Hearing the front door opening and closing Sonja and Jerick looked to see Lucian walking in with Alaric, Maxine, and Kali. Sonja looked around them for her baby but hadn’t seen her yet, Lucian noticing pulled his wife into a hug telling her Elizabeth would be home soon without saying a word. Knowing their little hybrid wouldn’t be far behind as the kids took over cooking so their parents could sit down and relax. Lucian seeing his wife’s book as he handed it to her, pulling her into his arms so she could be warm while reading as they patiently waited on their eldest to return home. The snow silent and light outside as Liza walked up to the house, fixing her hair after taking the hood off before entering the house.

Bleed/Memories #10
Current mood:  accomplished

It had been months since Sonja and Lucian had gotten back together, now remarried and as happy as she could ever be. Hearing her children laugh and run throughout her house as a smile plastered across her face, little Alaric and Kali playing hide and seek with Elizabeth and Jerick. Even though her two oldest were grown adults now, they still played like children with their siblings. Sonja just shook her head with a smile as she burried her mind back into the book she was reading, it was about a girl who had ran away to be with the love of her life. Sonja had tried to do the same thing eight-hundred years ago, even though hers hadn't gone to plan she was intruiged on how this book was going to go. The year was now 2023, Alaric had just turned 41 and her daughter Kali had turned 23. Still children in her eyes even though they were techincally full grown adults, but Sonja just smiled watching all four of her babies playing with eachother.

As she sat there focused in on her book, finally turning to chapter twelve her phone had buzzed. Sonja's brow furrowed as she looked over to it as the screen went black, curousily she tapped on her Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max seeing the screen light back up. A gasp escaped her throat as a text hovered before the background of her and her husband Lucian, a message from a number she didn't recognize. Hesitant on opening it she took a breath, seeing the message she locked her phone making sure noone was around her before responding. As she sat there reading the text message she read it in her mind, "Sonja my love I need you, I am dying and I know you probably don't care as you are now remarried to that wolf. But Cara Mia I need you, I can't do this alone, I am scared and I want you and my children with me. Please, I got your number from Luka I couldn't help but talk to you." seeing te message sent Sonja's head spirling, she couldn't read her own thoughts correctly, does she respond or does she ignore it completely? As she thought that to herself another message came through, "If you can't because you are around Lucian, or if it's because you just don't want to talk I understand." As she sat there biting her lip she closed her eyes tight and took a shot of bourbon.

Sonja sat there with  her hands in her hair repeating herself over and over again, "It's not what it seems, not what you think, no I must be dreaming. It's only in my mind, not real life, no I must be dreaming." her nails digging into her palms as the blood pouls around her fingernails, she kept saying the montra over and over again in her mind. Deleting the messages as fast as her bloodly fingers could hit the cellular device as her body shook from ptsd and trama, Sonja couldn't let him back in. She forbid herself for ever speaking to her ex-husband, she had to keep herself and her family safe. Her finger hovered over the block button as another message came through, "Sonja please I can't do this without you..." she shook her head knowing he had more to say but she couldn't put her children through that, she couldn't put her husband throught that. Shaking her head as her waves fell around her face she hit the block button before another one of his messages could come through, Sonja wouldn't put herself through that pain again. Not from Jacob, his pain was too much for her body and mind to deal with anymore.

Memories started flooding her mind, Sonja shook her head trying to fade them away. Anything she tried he still showed in her mind. Her tears started to fall, her tears falling down her cheeks as she imagined him standing infront of her. "I'm so sorry my love but I can't do this, I love you with my heart and soul but I can not be with you anymore. It breaks me every day, but my husband puts me back together. Lucian makes me whole again, I can't do this back and forth with you anymore Jacob you're breaking my sanity." Sonja said aloud but quietly so her babies couldn't hear her. putting her head down with her eyes closed tight hoping he would go away when she opened them, "I asked the gods to make you see we weren't a good fit, I do not understand why you are still trying darling, I love you with everything I have but it will not work between us. You're better off with the new woman you are with, I will always love you my love, maybe in another life we could try again." She said before opening her eyes and looking back up, seeing his apparition gone from her livingroom and only hearing her children running around giggling. Sonja wiped her tears away just before her husband Lucian walked through the front door, running to the kitchen to start dinner as to keep him busy from looking at her blue hues.

Apparition #9
Current mood:  accomplished

As the crisp autumn air had settled into the sunset night the squeals of Elizabeth and Jerick could be heard in the silent forest that surrounded the house, her two children so happy in that moment as they played with their aunt Luka. Elizabeth staying very close to her father as she studied him, watching how he reacted to her mother knowing the differences between her brother's father and her own father. Sonja sat there debating on telling her husband that the child she was pregnant with all those centuries ago was sitting right there beside him, but she didn’t say anything sitting there just looking into his hazel eyes as she looked down at her glass. As Lucian had spoken it pulled her out of a memory that played in her head as she looked up at him, “What my love I am sorry my mind was somewhere else at the moment.” she said hoping he wouldn’t be upset with her. Lucian had just smiled back to her curious on where her mind had lead her but decided not to badger her about it instead he asked his question again, “I was just wondering on if you were okay especially after what your father had done, I know you are alive and well but I do worry about you still to this day.” his words hitting her like a brick wall as she looked over to their daughter then back to him.

Moments had passed that felt like eternity but what only came out to a few seconds before she spoke, “I am fine and well as are the children, Elizabeth here is curious about you after all.” leaning her head against the back of the couch. Seeing Lucians reaction to what she just said had her looking over at them intently before a laugh escaped her, “Lucian my love she is your daughter after all, that is why she is so intent on sitting so close to you.” biting down on her lip to silence a laugh as she watched them look to each other her husband shocked but their daughter calm as she had already told Elizabeth the truth. Seeing her husband look from herself to their daughter as she couldn’t help but giggle, “Lucian my love it is true miss Elizabeth Moon Corvinus is in fact your blood daughter.” as she felt his arms wrap around her, she melted feeling safe like she always had with him. Feeling his grip slightly tighten not to harm her but as to keep her next to him, all Sonja could do was lay her head down on his shoulder her hand gently ruffling his hair.

A few hours had passed as they all sat in the living room now, Sonja looked around examining what everyone was doing. Her son Jerick showing his aunt all his guns he had collected over the years, no matter if it was shotguns or anything up to a sword like what his mother carried he was always interested in the way of firearms and swordsmanship. Seeing how enthusiast her best friend was with her son Sonja changed her view and focused on her husband and their daughter, watching Liza show her father all her little books she had collected and even some crystals. Gazing upon her husband not wanting to look away thinking all to herself that this was but a dream, a toy per say that her mind was playing with just for her not knowing if it was reality or something of a daydream. Lucian looking right up to her, their eyes locking with one another as Sonja looked down to her hands that her wine glass was in, her hues going from brown to ice blue then back as it messed with her. Before she could do or say anything his arm was around her side pulling her closer to him, it’s as if he knew what her mind was up to before she could even reiterate on what it was doing to her.

As the full moon shone over the lake Sonja couldn’t help but wonder outside just to gaze upon its glory, it was the first time in seven hundred years that she had really felt herself. Seeing the night sky was something she really hadn’t thought of in a very long time, not to mention that she really didn’t hide from the sunlight. Standing there she couldn’t help but smile, all the times that she had hid away from the moon in fear of the Lycans or just because the sun felt warm to her. The silent night only had a few wild life noises, the steps of deer making their way as they crushed leaves under their hooves; to the crickets making their little night songs they always did every night. The smell of fresh dew on the ground her brown eyes looking into the moon, Sonja silently thanking it as if it brought her husband back to her. Hearing the wolves howling in the night made her slightly jump yet smile knowing they were still on the lookout, always keeping an eye open just as Lucian had asked them to. “Keep us safe, always notify me if anyone and I do mean if anyone tries to come near our house here in the woods.” He didn’t say it out loud but Sonja knew who he was talking about, keeping it to herself and not letting the children know was in the best interest especially since Elizabeth just started to trust her own father after all. She just stood there holding her pendant in one hand as the sounds of the night engulfed her, feeling his arms around her all she could do was smile. Leaning her head back against his chest as she looked up at him, smiling and curious her hand reached up and gently caressed his cheek.

As the moon chased the clouds from the east over to the west they sat there by a tree, watching the small waves in the lake skim over the top. Looking up to her husband she asked a lightly worrying question, “Lucian... Did you ever know the Lycans were around my house?” seeing that her question puzzled him for a moment she asked it in a different light, “I mean did you know they were hunting a vampire family?” seeing his reaction soften had her raising her own brow. Her eyes searching his once he looked down to her their eyes locking to one another before he spoke, “They had told me they found a vampire family, one that was just a mother and her two children.” he stopped for a moment to think on how to go about this before taking a breath. “They told me about a vampire family, and that one of the children didn’t smell or act fully like a vampire. That something was off about the child but they couldn’t put their finger on what it was.” he said now taking his gaze back to the lake. Sonja studied his face for a moment before her mouth dropped open raising a brow to him, “You were looking for me weren’t you, even after all those centuries you never lost hope.” as she spoke, she seen the sly smile that now shone on her husband's face. Lucian was indeed actively looking for her even after the seven hundred years of them being apart, he never gave up hope that she was alive.

Before The End Part 1 #7

It was August 9th of 2015 when the waves crashed against the hull of the ship, the sunrise just over the horizon seemingly coming over the vast ocean and all its glory. Standing there seeing her crew doing rounds of training as she stood there, hot tea in hand as the morning chill started to dissipate.  Hearing the men and women as she smiled sipping her tea, her husband still in his quarters finishing paperwork and plans as she waited on him. “Just a few moments my love” He had told her just a bit ago, trying to talk her into taking at least a jacket with her, “It will be freezing out there, I don’t want you getting too cold.” Jacob had said trying to get his wife to listen to him, but just as stubborn as Sonja had ever been she brushed it off holding up her glass of tea. “It’s hot tea my love, I won’t become too cold.” she stated holding her glass up with a small smile, “Besides if I do get cold, you should be out there by then to keep me warm you know this.” shaking his head Jacob smiled waving off his wife “Alright but don’t say I didn’t warn you.” Before he could even finish, she was out the door heading down the small walkway with her cup.

Walking past a few mates as she nods and says her hellos one girl in particular stops her for a moment, “Major can you come here for a second I need to show you something I’ve been working on if you don’t mind.” Stopping in her tracks Sonja looked at the girl known as Kara as she smiled lightly, “Of course what is it Kara?” seeing the girls face light up as she turned back into her room suggesting Sonja to follow her as she stops at a desk, unravelling a pouch showing multiple sniper bullets laying out. Looking at them Sonja picking one up holding it in her hand as she studied it, the engravings on it and the weight as she smiled handing it back. Kara took it gently as she laid it back down, “What do you think Mrs.?”  Taking a sip of her tea before answering Sonja nodded politely, “It has a fantastic weight to it, and the engravings should cut through the wind at great speeds.” Sonja said as she put a hand on Karas’ shoulder, “Great job they should do fine, make sure we have enough saved for practice and for combat if it should come down to it.” Turning on her feet as she walked away happily making her way to the deck.  Moving past a few people as she stopped and smiled to them seeing Danny and Burk heading to the bridge and Mike with Ken as they tried to decide on who had the bigger mug of coffee, all Sonja could do was shake her head at the two sailors. Seeing Alisha and Andrea heading out the same door as she tried to not speed up her walking still trying to hide that she was a vampire to all the humans on the ship, “Pardon me can you hold that open for just a moment?” seeing both the females patiently waiting on her to catch up with them.

Tying her hair up into a loose half up half down look, her little fringe blowing in the gentle breeze as she stood there. Some of the sailors do rounds, others play a game of basketball in the cool morning before having to do their daily tasks. Watching the sun gently rise over the horizon as she feels a hand gently grab her side pulling her close to them smiling she tilted her head back looking up at her husband, “What is it my love?” she asked before looking out to see the seagulls. Hearing his voice she smiled leaning her head up against his chest, “We should make landfall soon the coast of England is right over there.” Watching his arm point to the east as she smiled, “We are about 20 meters out till we hit the shoreline, we need to gather some supplies then we will head out towards Russia and Japan.” Hearing his words she raised a brow looking up at him, her brown eyes looking into his blue gaze as she smiled. Curiosity piqued her interest as she looked up at him, “What could we possibly need in Japan and Russia that we don’t already have here?” she asked not expecting the answer she ended up giggling at what he said. “Flowers? Jacob that’s ridiculous, we do not need flowers where would we even put them?” with a smile Jacob shook his head before kissing the top of her head, “My love by our bed of course silly woman.” rolling her eyes at him before giggling as they enjoyed the sunrise.

Later that evening the ship had gotten a radio signal from the west, as Mike ran to get Sonja and her husband knowing they’d want to hear it too. As he rushed into their quarters Sonja held a book in her hand while the kids were getting a bedtime story from their father, hearing the door open abruptly she looked up at Mike holding a finger up silencing him as her husband finished the story before exiting the children's room. Mike was the only one on this ship who knew of Sonja and Jacobs' secret they held from the rest of the crew, keeping his voice silent as he knew they would hear his words as he told them about the radio transmission they had picked up. “What do you mean it cut off abruptly, where did the signal come from and how long ago?” Jacob had asked Mike as they walked down the corridors of the ship heading to the signal room, “Not long ago maybe ten minutes or so, the signal was weak but shown from the west near the USA.” Mike said as they turned a corner, silencing themselves as they walked past some crew who were cleaning off tables for morning. Entering the dark room seeing only a few computers and televisions turned on lighting up a small part of the room as a voice gently went in at out of some headphones, Jacob sat down and put them on listening to the voice echoing into them.

After a while of listening to the voices all Jacob could do was smile and shake his head, looking up to his wife and friend before clearing his voice. “What do you mean it’s from a movie?” Mike questioned Jacobs' logistics and theory, as Sonja just sat there and smiled. Shaking her head hearing the movie quotes as she sat back running a hand through her hair, “It’s from an old war movie back in the early 1900s I don’t remember the name of it, but Jacob had a whole bunch of them back at our house.” trying not to laugh as she sat there. Seeing her husband laugh as the short movie ended and started back up shaking his head, “The movie is only about 10 minutes long so they must have it on a loop playing over and over again, nothing to be afraid of XO just a little fun the humankind is having.” He stated before taking a sip of his coffee, completely having a bit of fun himself seeing Mikes shocked expression turn into a not so fun one. Changing the station hearing some music coming through as they all smiled hearing the soothing voice before Sonja stood up getting ready to head back to the room, she stood there holding her hand out waiting for her husband to take it knowing they had a big day in the morning.

Vore Drabble #6
Current mood:  accomplished

Sonja looked down after seeing her son with the firearm at his side, gently pulling Elizabeth closer to her just for a moment if they needed to take off running from the pack. Watching all the lycans as a few had backed down like Lucian had said, others still debating on what to do with the newly found vampires before them; Do they kill the little vampire family, disobeying their leader? Or do they listen to the man who has saved their lives time and time again? Watching the Lycans finally relax Sonja gently took Lucians’ hand in hers before standing up slowly making sure her daughter was at her side so she could protect her, looking over to her son nodding that it was safe for him at the moment. Her nose gently crinkling as a cold snowflake landed on it, the chill of the flake not bothering Sonja more than she wasn’t expecting it. Seeing the lycans one by one leaving the clearing between the tree lines, knowing her son was safe she allowed him to leave the comfort of the house to meet her lover and best friends. “Jerick my love it’s safe, you can come out to say hello now if you would like to.” Watching her son fidget for a moment seeing his reaction knowing he was very protective of her and his sister she held out her hand for him, “My love it’s okay we are safe, they aren’t going to hurt you I promise.” Jericks’ eyes going from the brown natural color to the blue that the vampires had as he questioned his mother, “How can you be so sure that they won’t attack like the others would have?” Sonja sighed as she looked to her husband nodding knowing he would protect Elizabeth with his entire being, walking over towards the house as she held her hand out to her son hoping he would trust her and take it.

Walking back towards the others Sonja noticed her son staying very close to her, as if he was trying to protect her from someone. Trying to reassure her son that nothing bad was going to happen, gently squeezing his arm as if to take the edge off the odd situation. Feeling the sun starting to rise in the east as they walked, Jerick looking to his mother then to the man and woman with his sister. Sonja smiled lightly knowing the sun was about to gently come over the mountain peaks her brown eyes now going to the blue as she looks to Lucian, Luka, and her daughter; “Come let's get inside before the sun comes over the mountains, I don’t need my best friend burning up now do I?” she said with a soft smile. Watching her daughter run back to the house knowing that her two children weren’t bothered by the sunlight like her friend was, seeing them running to seek shelter from the rays as Sonja stood there knowing that Lucian was about to run to her. Jerick ran to open the door for everyone as Luka and Elizabeth ran past him, her daughter giggling thinking that it was but a game of tag. Even though Elizabeth was over two hundred years old, the child still loved the company and the games they could play. Sonja standing there before the sunlight could even touch her skin, feeling a gush of wind now knowing her love was standing there before her as if to shield her from its rays of light; feeling his arms fold around her all she could do was smile.

“Sonja what are you thinking!” Hearing his tone she looked up at him, raising a brow seeing the worried look on his face before smiling lightly. “You are going to burn you know this, how can you just stand out here? I just got you back, I don’t want to lose you again.” Hearing the fear in his voice she looked up at him, the small smile she held now fading seeing he was genuinely afraid of her dying again right before his eyes. Sighing as she took a few steps back seeing the rays of sunlight to her right as she smiled lightly, extending her right arm as the light cascaded around it. Looking back to her husband seeing the complete shock plastered all over his face she couldn’t help but laugh, “My love I do not burn like I used to from the suns brilliance, it no longer has a hold over me.” Sonja said so matter oh  factly watching, her husband’s reaction going from desperate and terrified as it relaxes, a smile appearing on his face. As they stood their leaves falling from the trees and little snow flurries following the leaves they stood there, silent as if it were a dream a long-awaited dream. Putting a hand on his chest she felt him gently squeeze her hand as if a reassuring gesture that she wasn’t dreaming all of this up, just her imagination playing tricks on her but it wasn’t; this was the reality she wanted, she craved for her husband finally returning after seven hundred and seventeen years later.

The following evening as the last of the suns’ rays bounced across the walls of the living room Sonja sat there, a book in one hand and a glass of wine in the other. Hearing the squalls of giggling from the opposing room to her left as her children showed Lucian and Luka their “Toys”. Shaking her head all she could do is smile and sip her wine, remembering a time way back when. Before she could get too deep into the memory Sonja shut it out, drowning the voice of someone else with a big gulp of her wine. No she wouldn’t think of the past she couldn’t bare herself to think about him, she was happy living her life as she pleased she couldn’t do that to the children; she couldn’t stand to put them in that situation. ‘Will the pain stop if I were to go deeper?’ she questioned herself not only of her past, but of her sanity in that moment. Hearing footsteps she wiped a tear away trying to conceal what her mind was doing to her as she looked up with a soft smile, “Hello my love I hope the children weren’t being to overbearing for you.” she said looking back down to her book trying to hide her blue hues from him.

Watching Lucian sit down beside her on the couch she looked over to him his words making her brow peek up, “How long have you been living here in Paddington?” his question making her think for a moment, does she lie to him or tell him the entire truth as to how she's alive and still here breathing. Before either of them could speak Jerick walked onto the threshold leaning casually against the doorway, his gaze moving from Lucian to his mother noticing she was not exactly fine and looking for a way to silence his father's voice in her own mind. Remembering his question Sonja tried to answer him without her voice failing, “We’ve um...” Sonja sat there trying to put it into perspective not only for herself but for her husband as well. Jerick stood there seeing his mother having a hard time trying to explain everything to Lucian, “What if you both wait until you are alone, she can tell you the story then.” looking up to her son Sonja had a small smile of gratitude as if thanking him for saving her for the time being. Nodding his head as Lucian understood looking to his wife, “It’s okay you can take all the time you need, I’m not going anywhere ever again I promise you that my love.” taking her hand and squeezing it gently all Sonja could do is smile, knowing she was safe and that her children would be safe as well.
