1: Night sky, requested by Bellamy

Gabrielle thought the night sky was the prettiest thing she had ever seen. Whether she was sitting in her parent’s garden gazing at the moon after midnight, or studying the stars through a telescope in her Astronomy class, it fascinated her. If she couldn’t sleep, she would take a blanket outside and stare at the sky naming stars until she fell asleep. Everything was more romantic at night. She had her first kiss under the stars, she accepted her fiancé's marriage proposal bathed in moonlight, and she would have held her wedding day at midnight if there hadn’t been so many young children in attendance. 

2: French cuisine, requested by Ginny

Gabrielle collected recipes, storing them in a leather-bound notebook, which she magically extended when she ran out of pages. She collected recipes from favourite restaurants, friends' parties, boyfriend’s parents’ dinner tables, anywhere that she ate and loved the dish, she asked for the recipes to recreate at home. French cuisine was, of course, her speciality (no-one could refuse her Onion Soup), but there were a few other dishes in there too: Yorkshire Pudding from England (from Mrs. Weasley), spinach and ricotta ravioli from Italy, the perfect Dutch stroopwafel. Gabrielle would edit the recipes every time she made the dish, adding a new ingredien or which guest had loved or hated it. Her apartment nearly always smelled of pastry, soup or chicken as she spent most of her time at home preparing a dish or two.  

3. Mend, requested by Harry

Gabrielle was wasteful, as she was never taught to mend anything after it broke, everything was replaced with a brand-new item. A broken doll was never returned patched up, a tear in her uniform meant a new order placed with the tailors. Gabrielle’s parents wanted the best for their daughter, and best in their eyes meant new. She never had a favourite toy, dress or pair of shoes as they were always replaced when they had a small fault or Gabrielle’s whims changed. It made her rather spoiled as she demanded new toys and clothing when she became bored. She would even go so far to break things herself if her parents were hesitant to buy a new item. As an adult, Gabrielle changed her wardrobe every season, buying new clothing almost every time she went into the fashion quarter in Paris. 

4. Pets  

Gabrielle insisted that the Delacour Estate was filled with animals. Growing up, she had a beautiful horse, three dachshund pups, two owls and various small farm animals that were looked after by the Estate staff. Most of her pets were named for the characters of Les Troise Mousquetaires, one of the very few muggle books that Gabrielle owned and reread. The dachshunds were Athos, Porthos and Aramis, one of the owls Milady and her horse was d'Artagnan. By the time Gabrielle moved to Paris, two of her dachshunds had passed away, only Aramis came with her, and there wasn’t space for the horse in the city. Aramis welcomed Gabrielle home with wet kisses and it made those first few lonely months in the city bearable for her.  

5. Friendship 

The girls at Beauxbatons were fast friends, loving each other as sisters and in some cases lovers. They never fought over a boy’s attention and small squabbles were minor and usually over by lunchtime. Gabrielle and her friends supported each other in everything they did, from helping each other with a rather difficult assignment to finding the perfect ribbon to match their eyes. After graduation, the girls created a network, helping each other with their careers: an invitation to an important function here, an introduction to a CEO there. Gabrielle would not have made it in her position of Ambassador without the support of her Beuxbaton girls.
