Takeda originates from Thailand and is of Asian descent, having black hair and brown eyes. In his youth as depicted in the comic, Takeda wore typical clothing as a child. In the game, Takeda wears an armored body suit, primarily a metallic silver in color with streaks of yellow-orange along the legs and hands. He still keeps his headband to represent his connection to the Shirai Ryu, along with a neck warmer. On his arms, he bears modified gauntlets designed to fire his spear tipped, bladed whips in battle. Takeda's alternate costume depicts him in a Shirai Ryu style uniform, similar to Scorpion's own costume, and bearing the clan's yellow color.
PERSONALITY & TRAITS
Takeda is a trained warrior, the apprentice of Scorpion himself, and has shown great skill with using bladed whips and plasma empowered swords in combat, referencing both his teacher Scorpion and his father Kenshi. His serrated edged whips are concealed in his gauntlets, and are launched at high powered speed for maximum striking power. He has also shown the power to teleport in a similar manner to his master, Scorpion. Like his father, Kenshi, Takeda has shown some telekinetic abilities by being able to move his plasma swords with his mind, and possesses some telepathic power as well, able to read minds and overload senses with enough concentration. Unlike his mentor and father, Takeda has the unique ability to form an orange, plasma-like aura around parts of his body and weapons to inflict further damage against his opponents.
During the events of the Mortal Kombat X comic series, Takeda gains a set of equipment blessed by Fujin using the Jinsei's powerful life energy which was also infused to his soul, giving him a tremendous power boost that allowed to fight against and endure attacks from the likes of Sonya Blade, Johnny Cage, Kotal Kahn, Mileena, Raiden and Havik who were possessed and strengthened by Blood Magik. Even a continuous blast of power from the Amulet of Shinnok did not instantly disintegrate and kill him due to the Jinsei energy charged into his soul.
I know I'm the Kombat Kid who's the poster boy for daddy issues but this guy's actually been there for me and is helping me hunt down my mom's killers. He's my father and one of my sensei's. Sure he's an ass but I love him. Go after him and I will kill for this man. No questions ask, so if you don't want me yanking your throat out with my whip. Hands off.
He might not be Special Forces, Shirai Ryu, or even a Kombat Kid but he has become someone who plays a pivotal role in the telepathic chujin's life. For once in his life he has been able to calm down and not think so much thanks to Deven who allows him to drop his walls and all the witty banter. When they're around each other it doesn't matter that Takeda's a ninja or a soldier, or even that the other male is an internet celebrity of sorts. All that matters is their growing bond which Takeda cherishes.
Cassie is like the sister Takeda never had and the ONLY one who can keep up with his witty jokes since hers are just as good. He never feels jusged by Cassie and knows that if he gets in deep doodoo then she'll have his back. Even if she does feel make him feel like a CAGED animal during sparring matches.

I lived a normal life in Thailand with my mother, Suchin, despite my father not knowing of my existence until I was a child. After my mother was killed by the Red Dragon, I was entrusted to Hanzo when my father left to avenge her death. Although I am taught the ways of a warrior, I was pretty timid by nature and didn't take fighting seriously. However, after the newest iteration of the Shirai Ryu are eradicated, I become more serious and continues to help my master, both in missions and preventing him from giving in to his wraith persona.
season two
After many years, I completed my training with Scorpion and, at the urging of both my mentor and my father who returned for me, joined a new team formed by the Special Forces dedicated to protecting Earthrealm. Consisting of a new generation of heroes, I developed a great friendship with all in my team and Iโm often the one who stops arguments from erupting between them, such as with Cassie Cage and Kung Jin. I had also been in a romantic relationship with Jacqui Briggs. I ultimately prove my heroism and bravery when I confront all the revenants (along with Jacqui) at the Sky Temple in order for the rest of my team to stop Shinnok, despite my injuries.

It was a quiet morning, even for Annabelle. She had been sitting in her room. Currently pouting as she drank what was probably easily her tenth cup of coffee. Why was she pouting? Because Ratchet had again convinced Ironhide to cut her off with caffeine. The girl, as most put it, was hyper enough without the added caffeine in her system. However Annabelle didnโt agree. She didnโt see the problem with drinking coffee. Of course Ratchet had gone on some rant about her scans showing her heart rate was severely elevated. Stating that if she continued to drink the large amounts of caffeine she was likely to drop dead from her heart exploding. Perhaps he was correct. But Annabelle also was avoiding sleep. Which was exactly why she had been consuming far more caffeine than normal.
Finishing the cup she stared at it, pouting even more at the empty coffee mug. Glancing towards the door she wondered if she might be able to sneak out and find Bumblebee. Rarely did Bee ever actually side with Ratchet and Ironhide during these moments. Plenty of times he had snuck her coffee when she was told no more. Holding the empty mug in one hand, Annabelle used her now free hand to rub at her eyes. Desperately trying to rub off the exhaustion she felt. How many days had it been since she slept? Surely it would become obvious she hadnโt slept, but she wouldnโt admit to it.
As she moved to stand she heard what sounded like one of the bots hitting the ground. There were no alarms so clearly they werenโt under attack, she hoped anyway. As she forgot about the coffee, Annabelle hurried from her room to see what was going on. Following the sound of laughter as she soon reached the control room. Finding Ratchet on the ground and he wasโฆ..laughing? โIRONHIDE! I THINK RATCHET IS BROKEN!โ She shouted for her guardian, both confused and a little panicked.
โAnnabelle why are you shouting? And what do you mean Ratchet is-โ Ironhide spoke while rounding the corner into the control room. Only to stop as he took in the scene infront of him. โRatchet is laughing. I donโt think Iโve ever seen him laugh. This is weird. Very weird.โ Annabelle started talking again, only now speaking very quickly as she gestured towards Ratchet and kind of flailed a little. โAlright calm down calm down. This is exactly why Ratchet said no more coffee for you.โ Ironhide pointed at her which causes the girl to whine in protest. โIโm fineeeeeeeeeeeee! Especially compared to the old bot who is on the ground laughing. Is he gonna be able to get up?โ That question sent Ironhide into laughter as the weapons specialist tried to avoid looking at the girl. But now all he could imagine was Ratchet struggling to get up from the floor.
