(I keep updating this post, so feel free to visit it again later) Let's take some time to focus on my AU twist on Harry here.
Info For the most part I do follow the Harry Potter storyline from the books/movies when it comes to his student years, but I prefer to improvise and explore new paths in this verse. This means I mostly roleplay post war (and no Cursed Child).
The Story People know Harry's story but there is a darker side to him that not many people know about. Since he was born his mother Lily already saw that there was something different about him. What makes him different than a normal wizard? Throughout his first couple of years at Hogwarts he went through some changes. His eye sight intensified, with the ability to see clearly in the pitch darkness but also enhanced hearing. At first people questioned it, wondered why he suddenly didn't need his glasses anymore, and he managed to confince them that it was nothing but a spell. There were also smaller changes such as his eyes flashing darker for seconds. And his fascination for fire which grew stronger. It slowly started to show and build up further. Until one day he had the worst headache ever and horns pushed out of his temples. Yes besides being a wizard he is also a devil. His horns aren't always visible. They come and go. In the years that followed he learned to control his so called devil powers. Well unless he comes in contact with fire then it comes up automatically, well the horns for sure anyway. Well let's take a moment to go back to his mother, Lily. She noticed first that he was different, knew what it meant and put a blocking spell on him to temporarily block his (devil related) powers. As a way to protect him. But. When Harry's parents died the effect of the spell vanished too. Not instantly, but gradually (and that showed during his Hogwarts years as mentioned above). Being a devil is his dark secret which only his close friends know about. He learned throughout the years that he isn't the only one. After the war Harry becomes the Defence Against the Dark Arts professor at Hogwarts. A job he loves.
