She would pass away in his late teenage years when the family moved to Joe’s town of birth for a few years, unable to care for the boathouse any longer on a budget. Picking up boxing in his late childhood as his parents suggested to him, Joe had the potential to be a middleweight boxing champion someday from his great performance in amateur bouts as he had outstanding punching power for a small frame. But he blew it all away when he discovered he wanted to pursue a life in music in his later teen years instead of amateur boxing, which he continued until he was eighteen as a way to control his inner aggression.His life didn't start to reach its dramatic peak until his teen years. Hitting puberty at the age of twelve and trying to identify himself, Joe wasn't all that good with the girls and would often question his orientation. But he had no knowledge of any sexuality other than what was considered “normal.” Joe was picked on by other kids in school for acting like a boy in the closet, which he was, keeping his feelings bottled up from others, even his own parents. Joe's musical inspirations came from the cassette and vinyl collections his parents owned. Hard rock intrigued him the most, which would later become his most played genre in his dream music career. Getting his first guitar at fourteen after a year of begging his mother and father for one, Joe focused on his personal guitar lessons rather than his homework, making his careening grades less of a concern to him. When Joe was fifteen the family moved back down south into the suburbs of Boston, hoping to find a better school for their children that was close by and a walking distance. Buying a ticket to a local band called Fahrenheit, it would be then that Joe would meet its lead guitarist and vocalist Charlie Fahren, who would later become his close friend and the rhythm guitarist of Joe’s band. Charlie’s girlfriend, Simone, was once a girl Joe had taken a romantic interest in, but she brushed him off. It was only the starter of his insecurity when it came to love. As his social anxiety continued to haunt him, Joe dropped out of school at the beginning of 12th grade when he was eighteen, displeasing his parents and receiving toxic criticism from his younger sister who was never impressed by her older brother. Since the age of consent in Massachusetts is sixteen, without a doubt he couldn't go without being harassed for his long-lasting virginity and not getting himself intimately involved with women at all. Having not known of any other orientation than heterosexual, the young man was lost, falling into a great depression about his sexual identity as his hormones began their course. Once he discovered other teenagers who were in the closet, Joe learned to accept himself. But he kept it from his family.Joe was a slight late riser in terms of beginning his sex life; and wouldn't lose his virginity until he was twenty-one to his first-ever relationship with a girl his age named Elissa Benson. She ogled Joe through his last year in high school and developed an unhealthy obsession with the young man before finding the courage to speak to him and express her feelings. Forming his band when he was twenty-two, Joe finally came out of his shell and began to make friends with other guys his age that shared the same interests in music. Around this time Joe had gotten his first tattoo, the musical notes inside of his left forearm. Despite being a leftie, Joe normally plays right-handed.Touring New York with his band The Joe Perry Project and breaking up with Elissa, Joe thought long-term relationships weren’t for him and focused more on music. But as the years went by it was all crazy sex, drugs and rock n roll. Through many sexual escapades and drug-fueled parties, it began to slowly kill the band. Joe was one day arrested for marijuana possession and imprisoned for a month until he was released due to the lack of evidence. While Joe did try to be strong as an inmate, the others could sniff out his weakness so he was ganged up on and beaten. It was then Joe would experience his first time getting raped; by a prison guard as well as a rival inmate. After a while, Joe had a tough time bonding with the same sex in an intimate manner, struck by sexual trauma.Struggling with a job as a forklift operator once his charges were dropped and so was his criminal record, Joe's band officially hit rock bottom and broke up after Joe would get so wasted he couldn't perform at gigs. Still shaken from being molested in jail, his drug addictions and drinking all worsened. In time, he would begin to use sex as a coping skill. Getting desperate for bread, Joe participated in illegal underground fights to brush up his self-defense skills, winning bare-knuckle brawls to put a little extra cash in his pocket as he revived his childhood boxing skills he never necessarily let go of as well as pick up some brawling techniques. Sadly, the money was not used for essential things, but drugs and alcohol instead.Prostituting himself for extra money, Joe was in his mid-twenties and finally cementing his bisexuality that took years to uncover even after all of the wild sex with both women and men he had through his short career. It was then after not paying his rent, Joe was evicted onto the streets and living in his father's old car. Still taking part in underground brawls for a little cash for whatever food he could get his hands on, Joe suffered for nearly two years in the most impoverished parts of Boston trying to survive with only a car roof over his head. At times, he would play his broken acoustic for spare cash at local parks. Nearly getting killed for provisions and the little cash he had on him, Joe had no choice but to kill two bums out of survival instinct. Feeling reckless for what he did, that stuck to him for a good while but through time, he felt his actions were justified. Once nearly getting beaten to death in an alleyway by a local gang of crooks, a bloody and battered-up Joe was beginning to find it near impossible to survive on the streets any longer.After long periods of unprotected sex during this period in his life, Joe began to develop the slowly emerging symptoms of syphilis, a sexually transmitted infection that he could do nothing to get treatment for as a homeless man who couldn’t even afford a gallon of gas most of the time let alone a doctor’s visit and a prescription. His self-diagnosis had given him the explanation for his physical weakness he had been experiencing.  As Joe grew iller, he knew he needed to get help for his condition or it would be too late for him to be cured. His poor diet and lack of sleep allowed the bacterial infection invading his body to develop quicker than normal as death crept closer.Hiding his life from his parents as he fought to be more independently stubborn, Joe had no choice but to move into the apartment of his ex, Elissa Benson after a year of eating at the soup kitchen and showering at a local church as his syphilis worsened, developing sores across his chest and groin along with rashes across his body. Anything for a place to sleep and shower. One of the few good things she had done for Joe, she had him taken to a doctor for a penicillin shot that would eradicate him of his illness within a month. Luckily for him, he didn’t sexually contract anything serious such as HIV after a blood test returned negative for any incurable STDs.Luring Joe into her lair, she pampered him with whiskey and cheap cocaine as she worked her daytime job as a bagger at a grocery store, giving little about what truly happened to him. Elissa's behavior against Joe did not improve. Since they had last seen each other she was just as addicted to cocaine as Joe, if not worse. Knowing Joe was afraid to be alone, Elissa had coaxed him into staying with domestic abuse that was disguised as rough love. The abuse was mostly one-sided as Joe couldn't do much to fight her back, being as physically weak as he was. Getting pregnant from Joe a month after he had moved in and only to get a miscarriage eight weeks in, this only damaged Elissa more as she was one to pin her problems out on anyone else but herself. Heavily in denial that her drug addiction killed their baby, she entirely blamed Joe for it and worsened her abuse towards him, physically and sexually.Getting pregnant from Joe one last time with their son Roman a few months prior, Elissa had moved out to be with her family to get sober and take care of herself so she could have the baby, intentionally leaving the father out of the picture to break him. Barely carrying himself along to get clean, Joe did the best he could to kick his addictions in hopes of becoming sober for his first child. With Elissa threatening to abort only to mess with his sanity, Joe did his best to brush it off and no longer fall for her mind games towards him. When their son, Roman was born on May 25th of 2015, it was one of if not the best day of Joe's life. Despite not seeing his son being born due to Joe's late arrival, it was love at first sight at the maternity ward. Becoming a father at twenty-seven years old, it was a drastic life change that was for the best.Moving into a better place with some money from her parents, Elissa lured Joe into another one of her traps once she let him move in so he could be with their son full time. Her abuse grew worse to points where Joe had to knock her out just so he could escape her attacks on him. Now sober with no lack of judgment, it was bad news for her and good news for him that he was clean and able to defend himself from her ferocious abuse. Successfully forcing him into sexual intercourse several times through drugging him with sleeping pills, Elissa believed she had control over her son's father and did anything to keep him away from Roman, even if it included reporting him to the police for domestic violence and rape to get him locked away and out of her life so she could make a run for it with their child.Obtaining custody of twelve-month year old Roman after a grueling time in court, Joe's mother Mary aided him with parenting and with his settlement money he got himself a loft outside of downtown Boston and a new car for himself. Elissa got fifteen years for domestic abuse.To remember the day he had won over Elissa, he got the endless knot Karma tattoo on his right shoulder. Trying to fight through his pain in his own was proven difficult as he refused therapy for his diagnosed PTSD from being raped and beaten. Going through many relationships some months after Elissa, Joe found it increasingly difficult to seek out love again or even develop trust in anyone to be his better half. His mild fear of sexual contact did not help with this.Shortly after reuniting his band, Joe's father Tony passed away only a few months later from small-cell lung cancer. Broken and devastated at the time of his father's military funeral that he never attended out of severe grief, Joe knew it was time to harden up and move in through life without his father, for Roman’s future as well as his own. Getting his third tattoo of "Dad" and a feather below it on his neck, he knew his father would always be with him even after death. It was this point in Joe's life where secrets could no longer be held. Feeling the need to explore his sexuality, Joe began leaning towards other men. Dating a man and falling in love with one for the first time, Cole was Joe's only true boyfriend he had. But the relationship only turned his mother onto her bad side as she disapproved of Joe's homosexual relationship and wanted her son to find a mother for Roman, not a “second father”. Leading up to their breakup, Joe had never seen Cole ever again after he lost his mind and was nearly killed in a car accident after a screaming match he got into with Joe’s mother. Last seeing Cole near death in a hospital bed, Joe had not heard from him since and his fate remains a mystery.  Meeting Melanie Zacharias through a blind dating app when he was thirty years old, Joe had met her in person and felt something he never felt before and it was true love. Finally, someone who appreciated having him and accepted him as perfect. Wanting to help her financially; Joe had fired David Hul as his bassist and had Melanie replace him for the time being. Feeling like an outcast compared to the others in the band Melanie accepted it anyway. Falling asleep behind the wheel whilst driving home after an early night date with Melanie, Joe had nearly gotten himself and his own son killed in an accident that resulted in him skidding off the road and colliding into a parked car. Soaring out the window and suffering from a concussion, three year old Roman was silent no more as he got out of the vehicle and cried out on his father, thinking he was dead. Resulting in his band breaking up once more Joe had joined a prospect thrash metal band known as Dethlok, where one of the greatest rivalries in his career would start. Axl Morel and Lionel Falk of Dethlok got the bigger part of the pay which Joe was unhappy about. Things only progressed to get worse as Joe and Melanie officially had broken up their two month long relationship as Joe’s conflict with his sexuality continued which turned her away from him. Despite being short, Joe's relationship with Melanie reminded him of what it was really like to be in love besides his relationship with Cole. With Melanie moving back to her hometown of Anaheim, California clear across the country, it would be a while Joe and Melanie would meet each other face to face again. Working at Tanino's, an Italian restaurant in downtown Boston as a side job, Joe had worked their part-time in hopes of a little extra money and the fact he loved to cook anyway, doing a job he actually loved instead of moving crates all day in a motorized vehicle. Pulling his weight there for a few months he had befriended Ray Martinez, one of the chefs at his job and also had a brief sexual relationship with his boss Maria just for a raise and a promotion. Though Ray was gay and had a huge crush on Joe, the two didn't get any further than friends with benefits until no longer seeing each other once Joe quit and continued to progress in his music career.Sticking with Dethlok until he got some kind of popularity in the band, Joe eventually left the growing supergroup and phoned up his old bandmates Charlie, David and Ronnie to resurrect The Project. Forgiving Joe they had come back, rebuilding the band from the ground up and coming out stronger than ever. Starting to become an independent and strong man, Joe did his best to get somewhere, and it would pay off in the months to come once the band toured New England yet again, making money all through it. Releasing their first official album after receiving a record deal, Joe's childhood dream was coming true as he put his past behind him, touring all fifty states and soon after, Asia and Australia. After he finishes his world tour, he has a two year break in mind for rest, though it might not go as he had anticipated.  

Mature Themes Eldridge is a mature group, meaning any character within the area code needs to be 21 and older. This isn’t for the faint of heart. Crime, death, drugs and other adult related things will be prevalent in the main storyline. We want the inner darkness in all of you to come out when making your characters and writing them. Don’t hold yourself back. Activity Most activity will be based on Discord. Profile pages and an active discord are required. All writing will be documented via Discord. If you’ve read this far please tell us your favorite song on question 3 in the audition form. Writing is welcome on the site and on Discord, whatever you’re more comfortable with. Weekly you are required to use the blast with four replies minimum. Anything extra will be counted for points! You aren’t required to write with everyone (though it is encouraged to have a storyline with everyone so that you know how to interact appropriately!) but you are required to have four active storylines that you are replying to within two weeks. Activity checks will be sent out weekly - they will range from storyline based reaction drabbles, writing, muse posts etc. Inclusivity We want all of our members to feel welcome and like Eldridge is a place they can call home. We get that we all have busy lives but please don’t blatantly ignore members who reach out to you. If you feel like you’re being ignored, please let us know so that we can get to the bottom of it. Point System We do have an active point system that we will be using to track activity. In order to maintain your spot in Eldritch, you will be required to make 80 points per month. We have a grid that you will be shown once you’ve joined. OOC and Drama This is our personal favorite rule. Somewhere at some time, we’ve all met each other. We all know each other, and maybe in the past we had hard feelings about one another. Drama that is NOT storyline based will not be tolerated. Let bygones be bygones and make it work, somehow. We do not expect you to be best friends with everyone, but we require civility out of character and a basic connection with everyone. Make up all of the drama in character that you want. Life Changes As far as life changes (ie: marriage, pregnancy, whatever) go, we know that things such as these are usually never planned, with engagements - please wait at least six weeks before you pop the question. All you have to do is message the admins and ask for the change. You may join married or engaged to your significant other, be sure to add your writing partner’s name so we are aware.As for pregnancies - this will be a case by case situation. We do not want more kids than adults in this group, so you may just have to wait your turn for a crotch goblin. We will also limit the times that they are in events.    Highland Park (8/8) - $ Right outside of Downtown, Highland Park is an up and coming neighborhood. This neighborhood is one of the most easily accessible. Older homes and trailers litter the area. As  much as the higher ups of Eldridge want the crime and drugs to stop, it hasn’t happened in the last forty years and will likely never change, despite their best efforts to clean it up. It’s mostly harmless, just make sure your doors and windows are locked any time you’re leaving or asleep.    Downtown (8/8) - $$ Downtown has taken a long time to get their name in “nice to live” places. Regardless of the price, the apartments above the businesses are something to die for. Lofted, open concept. Enough for a family, or if you're on your own. The town has taken lots of funds to make these apartment and condos more liveable. You’re a walk away from the town to the lakes to the woods -  a truly diverse place to live, where you can easily make your home.    Aurora Village (7/7) - $$$ Set closer to the woods, Aurora Village is perfect for growing families. The suburban style homes may be close together, but with the woods spacing them out - you’d never know you had any neighbors. Tranquility and quiet were on the minds of the owners of this neighborhood. Privacy and space, but not too far from your friends. Regardless of if you’re living here, you’re right in the hustle and bustle of town, with it being only about a five minute drive, so you always know whats happening in Eldridge.   Crescent Lake (7/7) - $$$$$ By far the most stunning neighborhood in the town. Front yards are beautiful, with nicely sized backyards with the stunning Crescent lake to spend your afternoons. Right on the water, these residents enjoy the surreal beauty, sitting right on the lake.This peaceful neighborhood was once home to Samuel Eldridge, the love of the town. Some people say they can still see him in the waters of Crescent lake, something that they wished they could still see to this day.

Tequila. Tequila is your typical bar that is trying to keep up with the masses. Settled in the heart of downtown - Tequila struggled against the developers to keep its doors open. The dive bar's patrons fought hard and started a petition to keep their favorite Friday night spot. In order to stick around, it was required to get a massive face lift. It houses a large dance floor, fully stocked bar, pool tables, tons of vibrant artwork, and a dj ready to play whatever the patrons are feeling that evening. Raiders MC. Founded in the 1940’s, by Azriel Fields the motorcycle club originally was just for brotherhood. As years went on, and eventually the club turned to crime. They all needed money, and chaos was how they got it. Arson, bank robbing. Azriel passed away and Rowan’s father Griffin took over the club. Of course the crime didn’t stop. For thirty years, Griffin ran Raiders with no issue.This was until the last year or so, when things got a little sketchy - he called Rowan to open  a chapter in Eldridge. Now as Rowan runs the club, he’s allowing the crime and chaos to continue on. Stargazer Lake. Stargazer Lake is the biggest summer spot in all of Eldridge where many of the wealthier families spend their summers in their vacation homes. Most residents take day trips to the lake to rent boats, kayaks, paddle boards, and any other equipment for all of your aquatic activity needs. The town hosts many events at the lake including bonfires and cookouts. We might be biased, but at night you have the most picture perfect view of the stars (Duh! How else would it have gotten its name?!) being as it’s far from the hustle and bustle of downtown. There’s no such thing as a bad time at the lake and there isn’t a single person in town who would turn down a day trip to be out on its beautiful waters. Boxcar. Boxcar is the town's bar-cade. The business allows patrons under 21 until 8pm and then it is considered adults only. There are several classic arcade games, an entire room dedicated to pinball machines, a few bowling lanes, a menu to order appetizers from, and a fully stocked bar. On weekends they have live music on their large patio and on Sunday’s from 10am to 2pm they have bottomless mimosas. Boxcar loves their fur patrons as well, meaning they’re pet friendly! Four legged friends of all shapes and sizes can hang out with you here - as long as they are friendly and well behaved!! The Boardwalk. The boardwalk is home to several different activities and is a staple in Eldridge. Here you can find several carnival rides, mini golf, games with prizes to be won, food trucks with any type of cuisine you could ask for, a tattoo shop, and various different touristy stores. Residents and guests both frequent this attraction, but it is the typical hang out for highschoolers. Many of the residents have a deep nostalgia for the boardwalk - having grown up there. During the summer the Mayor puts on a magnificent firework display every other week that you can see from here. Bite Delite. Bite Delite is the oldest hangout in Eldridge - being founded in the 80’s. Residents typically have a self assigned booth they always sit at. This is a place where you and your server are on a first name basis. For being a diner style restaurant, the food is phenomenal. Normally, people are ordering from a long list of specialty burgers (they have burgers of the WEEK, crazy right?) but there are several different options to choose from. Chicken, Salads, Pasta? Bite Delite has it all! Don’t get us started on the milkshakes - they’re to die for. Lucky Strike. The business that attracts the most tourist’s to Eldridge is Lucky Strike - a casino. Whether you want to try your hands at slots or the card tables, you’ll have your opportunity here. If gambling isn’t your thing, feel free to grab some food or hang out at the bar. We hear they’ve got some great refreshments! The younger of the two Eldridge brother’s owns the popular spot and has his security tight locked - don’t even think about trying to count cards here! Bird Tree Cafe. Within the last fourty years, the bird tree cafe has offered the community of eldridge a place of solace. Whether you're looking for a bite to eat, a quiet place to read, or a night cap after your long work day - the bird tree cafe can meet those needs. Locally owned and operated, the bird tree cafe values community above all. may 3rd. That day always hit hard for him, his mother's birthday was not an easy one, cancer was a bitch taking the only thing that gave him life was gone now. Camden had his face over the sink washing his face before he looked up at himself in the mirror studying himself. Eyes bags were definitely showing out. he sighed before shaking his head, pulling himself away from the sink and made his way over to the shower and turned it on, awhile he took a second to grab some clothes he stopped by the picture he had sitting on top of his drawer, he picked it up, holding it in his hand looking back at the person who made him who he is today. ‘‘mum, you would told think everyone had lost their Damm mind during covid’’ he spoke, chuckling before putting the picture back in its proper place, his mother, Valentina Rose Fiore, knew very little English being raised in Florence, Italy until she met his father, Thomas Longhurst who seemed nice at first but soon turned out not to be the case as soon was Valentina told him she was pregnant, he left. She barely knew and being in a place she barley knew was difficult for her, scary even. Valentina was only eighteen years old when she had Camden on Christmas eve 1987. Soon enough he came back when Camden was a school boy later falling pregnant with twins than leaving again to never be seen or heard from again. Camden let the hot water roll down his body before he eventually turned off the water, days like theses were the hardest but he pushed through knowing his mother didn't want him to sit around and sulk about her not being around. Camden brushed his teeth before getting dressed in a simple band tshirt a work shirt over it with some jeans and pair of worn out leather boots he got as a birthday gift around the time his mother died. Camden was only 17 when his mother had broke the news she was sick, it broke his heart. But he wouldn't tell her that as he was already running the pub when she was too sick thanks to chemo Eben though she begged to go to the pub on the hard days, not working but enjoying a bit of a social status with the people that came and went almost daily to the little pub on the street in London that Valentina had opened show her ex that she can in fact do things on her own awhile raising three children in the choas, she enjoyed the choas. She function better under pressure. birthdays were always hard,especially when that birthday was connected to someone so special and someone who he loved very much despite not always seeing eye to eye that was still his mother no matter what, she'll always be his mother no matter if she's no longer here physically on earth or in sprint watching over her babies.

It all happened so quickly it seemed.... Ava had been out drinking with her best friend, the two chatting about everything under the sun, moon and stars as if no time had passed since the last time they had come across each other's path. It was all so wonderful and she truly missed moments like this where they were able to spend so much time together, it just so much harder after the two of them graduated high school and never went to the same colleges together like they had hoped they would. They had spent hours upon hours together, just talking about everything until one thing was mentioned on his end. His family was telling him he needed to get married soon and they had a bride picked out for him, what he mentioned next really shocked her. He told his family THEY were soon to be married! She agreed to do this as of course they were each other's best friends though she told him once his parents were off his back he would have to do something for her, he agreed and after that things seemed to have gone black for her.The next morning she slowly woke up, a headache forming which she assumed was because of the alchol she had drunk the night before with her friend though it didn't help that light from the sun shone brightly through the window she was closest to. She slowly sat up, rubbing her eyes but then froze when she felt something upon her left hand. She glanced towards her hand and saw a gold ring sitting upon her ring finger, eyes widening when she saw it. She didn't remember anything from the night before including the arrangement she had made with her best friend, she didn't remember making the arrangement with him and certainly didn't remember ever marrying someone and getting into bed with them if she had even done something that far. She glanced towards the other side of the bed, seeing her best friend completely naked beside her though the only thing he wore was a ring that matched her own.She fell out of the bed from shock, hitting her head hard upon the nightstand that sat next to the bed on her side before she noticed she had become naked too. What did she do?! Did she really marry her best friend? She was terrified and at that moment she didn't know what to do. She glanced back at the man she had been laying with, seeing him stirring in the bed and she quickly ducked down and crawled around to find her clothing but they weren't on her side of the bed or even at the foot of the bed. "Damn it...." she muttered under her breath, hearing him groaning. She peeked over the edge and as she does so she saw him rise up and look around just for her, she knew he was looking for her as he heard him say her name.

"Never did. I was made for Louis. And he said I could go." She flinched as Lestat moved closer to her. "Who says I don't want you? You are an impossible.. spoiled child! But... I made you. You are mine. You and I have just as much a connection as me and Louis.""We do not!" Claudia protested. Lestat only shook his head "we do. Whether you want it or not ma petite." He said calmer now. He hadn't called Claudia that in ages. "When you are in pain I feel it. I simply have a high tolerance for it. When you left.. that will not happen again because you will not leave again. And you will never meet another. Now come home, Claudia. Louis needs you. He's so fragile. Still wounded from the last time you abandoned him. Filled your head with knowledge and hitched a ride on a motorbike."Claudia's eyes widened and she stared at Lestat for a few moments. "... Let it be Lestat. Just let me go." She persisted. She was horrified that Lestat even knew. "I wanted to ask but Louis would not let me. Now I love our family. But all these secrets. We must have none." Lestat insisted. "When I put my mind to it I can hear for quite a long distance."By now Claudia was in tears, curling into herself and away from Lestat. "He thinks of you often.. Bruce." He said with a disgust in his voice. "Bastard." Claudia mumbled. "Oh I couldn't agree more. What he did was.. just in bad taste. But could you imagine if something like that happened again? Or worse? Louis would never forgive himself. He'd become worse than he is. No. Your place is home with us. So come home and make him happy."Without hesitation Lestat stood, reaching down to pull Claudia up. "And if you ever try to leave again. I won't defile your sweet body and break your leg. I'll turn your bones to dust." Lestat threatened, squeezing Claudia's arm tighter until she pulled from his grip spitting in his face. "I hate you!" She shouted before rushing on ahead, jumping off the train.Lestat remained a moment, pulling a handkerchief from his pocket and wiping his face. This interaction with Claudia had been an unpleasant one. Lestat had tried to make it seem like his only true cause for keeping Claudia there was for Louis sake but if he were honest, truthful with his daughter he'd have told her how much it angered him what had happened to her. How he had found Bruce after her return and took care of the situation, as well as Bruce's head. How he never would again allow another vampire to harm her or Louis.
