Terano had survived the apocalypse that had befallen the other dinosaurs and somehow survived though he never full disclosed how, he became a teacher in a world filled with sophisticated animals, and half animals, but his secret dream was always to go back to the time of the dinosaurs, so he would work on a machine to do just that in secret. It didn't go according to plan and the machine backfired, the whiplash from it creating a rip in time it's self and he fell into a distant parallel universe, it was Earth but there were only humans, and all animals were pets, he lost his memory of that day and how he got there, he struggled to build a life for himself, it took a long time for humans to not be afraid of him. He became a teacher again, teaching young kids, teenagers, adults it didn't matter to him, and what he taught was mostly history lessons. He can come across as strict, and like he doesn't like anyone, or anything for that matter, he's bitter, blunt and to the point, but he's also pretty naรฏve in a way, and rather clueless, he is an elder bull Tyrannosaurus Rex and notably quite sassy and sarcastic and has a noticeable short temper.
He intimidates the students by threatening to eat them, this coupled with his serious take no nonsense nature makes the kids all listen to him, but he is still a gentleman at heart and he does strive for the well being of the students and other teachers, even if he is too large to fit in most normal schools.
