It's quite alright! Though now I think it's my turn to apologize to you. Been dealing with a sickness myself and everyone else at my job has been sick. Actually doing something productive hasn't exactly been possible. If you're still interested, yes, let's put our heads together and come up with something amazing together!
I've seen just a little bit about the Legends of Star Wars bit. But I'm going to be reading the novels here soon. Ordered the very first one from Amazon. It should be arriving by Monday, I'm hoping. Don't mind getting a little bit of spoilers when it comes to different things from Legends. Sunday I get to watch Rise of Skywalker. So I'm beyond excited. I mean to watch more. My muse for Padme has been through the roof. Hate that I have all these extra hours at work. It's been difficult to sit and actually do writing. We can do something maybe before AU? Having something where we could change it that Obi-Wan goes with Padme instead? Not trusting Anakin? Knowing that he has feelings for her? That it could lead to trouble?
The sands of Tatooine were… disgusting. The sand kept getting everywhere. Two steps and Kerra found more sand in her boot than she ever had before. After stopping five times, she gave up cleaning her boot out and continued with her search.
It was rumored that Obi-Wan was still in these parts. For what reason, she had a brief idea. If she were in hiding, she would find herself in the barren wasteland of Tatooine.
“Why is this damn planet so hot,” she mumbled, finally giving in to the heat and pulling her helmet off. In a distance, the jabbering of Jawas was heard. Probably raiding another settlement for loot. Kerra paid no mind to it, she had nothing to offer. They wouldn’t want anything to do with her ship. It wasn’t worth much. It had more sentimental value than anything else.
Kerra kept moving. The brutal rays of the sun finally took over and she fell to her knees. This wasn’t the way she thought her journey would end. In a way, she still needed to find him. He had something that she wanted, knowledge of what was to come.
The unmistakable cry of the Tusken Raider cried out, closer than she expected. Within the center of the ridge, Kerra found herself outnumbered and severely dehydrated. Her lips cracked under the pressure. “Great,” she mumbled before putting her helmet back on. Kerra pulled her blaster out and began to fire, aiming at what Tusken Raider she could make out.
One blast, then another. But she had help. He helped her. Kerra continued to fight before falling back on her knees after the last Tusken Raider made its way away from the scene. “Come,” she heard the calming voice of the man. Kerra was breathing heavily, finally letting go of the helmet. Light hues fell to see a few singes on his cloak. “Old man, are you hurt?”
The man chuckled before making a nod for her to follow him.
To me it just makes a thousand times more sense to watch them in chronological order. Don't get me wrong when I say I know they weren't released in that order. But since all the movies are out, why not watch them in the order that they were meant, in my mind, to be seen? Or I could be biased. This is the only way that I'm actually able to get into them.
There's a million different ideas in my mind. But do you have any AU or changes to the way you're writing Obi-Wan? Just to make sure that we're on the same path when it comes to the discussion.
I do hope that you don't mind that I sent a comment instead of a message. Just a little bit easier when it comes to sending out mass introductions. Which brings me to the second part of my apology. I know not everyone agrees with mass comments. It's terrible and unoriginal, I know, but considering that this is not only my first time in the verse and the fact that I just created this page... it's just easier. At least in my opinion to send out mass introductions. Doesn't mean that I'm not serious about writing. Quite the opposite. I can't wait to start writing with everyone possible.
Before we start discussing though I must admit that this is my first time in the first. Just recently started watching the series. Though I know some others it's frowned upon but I've been watching them in chronological order. This means that I've watched episodes 1-5. Right now, while I type this comment, I'm watching the 6th. I do know quite a bit of spoilers that does happen. Because I'm terrible and needed some questions answered and somehow I found myself neck deep in the wiki pages.
I do hope this doesn't stop you from wanting to discuss with me! I promise you won't regret it.
