BERNIE IS MY F***ING MAN!!! I love him so much he's so damn chill. If I had a grandpa in my life I would definitely want it to be him. If he has grandkids I can only imagine how spoiled they are. I feel like he's the only politician that's not crooked. America folded by not putting him in office, but hey AT LEAST NOW THEY HAVE YOU TO RUN THE OVAL OFFICE!! I definitely wouldn't keep saying it, at least not to the younger generation of military people cause it makes us feel so uncomfortable That kinda blows you don't really get to pick where you want to go, but hey I mean at least you're always constantly on the move and out there living your best life. I went to Canada a couple of times, I'm right in PA so it isn't very far. I love Niagara Falls (Canadian side), there's so much fun stuff to do. I have it on my bucket list to take my girls there as soon as I can save up enough. I can't believe how bad Covid was back in like 2020, now they don't even write you an excuse off of work. Would now be an appropriate time to thank you for your service during the pandemic?? Bc thank you.
Nah, people definitely DONT join for the money unless they have a degree prior to enlisting. Officers make the big bucks, when you’re enlisted you make cents per hour when it comes down to how many hours you work. This country really has gone to sh*t, and I’m not gunna lie I hate living here too 🤣 It always makes me feel hella uncomfortable when someone thanks me for my service. I’m not sure what the military pays these days anymore but I’m sure it’s not much more than what I was making. WHAT???? You’re a nurse??? I never would’ve guessed! You’re like a real life superhero. That’s f***ing kick ass. I have a whole new level of respect for you. I’m sure getting to travel to a lot of different places is dope too, I’d never get tired of that. Do you ever secretly wish they would send you to Hawaii? And also do you get to chose where they send you or is it completely random?
Basically long story short yeah we are the badasses. I was in from 2014-2018, and was an aircraft maintenance and administration clerk. I absolutely hated every single second of it and you couldn’t pay me a million to go back and do it again. They were the most miserable years of my entire life. BUT, I can say it did set me up financially for my future cause I’m only 27 now and get to be a stay at home mom cause they give me VA disability for everything I endured and it’s more than enough to live off of. What do you do currently?
