But she's also quick to anger and slow to cool down. She has been called the "rogue goddess" more than once because of her quick fire temper. The Coterie Members (Alternative Characters) Chicago Mayhew Chicago — Chi — was born the child of the Archangel Gabriel and the Succubus Antiope. Gabriel was forced to kill Antiope. When their child was born, God tried to scrub all of the Succubus out of the newborn and made her believe that she was simply an Angel in His service. Despite the attempt to remove her Succubus heritage, Chi had a destiny that couldn’t be controlled by Heaven — even though He tried to subvert it into something else. Chi was put in Alex’s path throughout the latter’s life, ensuring that they would find each other later in life. Before Chi could find Alex again, she was sent to the Compound to punish Mik for breaking the laws of nature. Chi didn’t want to punish her beloved sister, but she nonetheless halfheartedly tried. Then she saw Alex, grown into a woman and in her true form as a Succubus. Chi knew she was in trouble. God took her wings for falling in love with Alex. Soon after, she found herself pregnant with Alex’s child. Lexi Marie was born stillborn, hours after her sister, Ashley Michaela was born. Lady Death gave Chi the option of her life for the baby’s, and Chi took the offer — briefly becoming the Angel of Death. That title was taken from her shortly after, leaving her as a restored Angel. Until a crisis with Alex required Chi to take on her mate’s excess power. The flood of power, facilitated by Freya, helped Chi ascend to Godhood. For a brief time, Chi was the Goddess of Retribution and Vengeance, until her niece, Nichole, needed her to accept a new destiny. One of becoming the Supreme being on God’s throne. Chi accepted the power and destiny. She knew the Throne was safe for now, and she needed time to grow into her power, but eventually she would become God. Her and Alex have also recently gotten married to each other, as well as to Mik and Elizabeth.The four are bound to each other in such a way that breaking the bond would result in the loss of immortality and power for everyone except Chi. Chi is quiet and unassuming. She's also very even tempered. She blends into the background until she's needed and then steps forward with commanding presence. Kourtney DeLeyen Kourtney — she goes by “Kourt” most of the time — is the mother of Key, Marissa Alaine, and Echo. Kourt was a musical genius as a child, until her music teacher raped her and got her pregnant with her daughter, Key. She lost all passion for music after the rape. After giving birth at 12 years old, she named her daughter and then gave her to her parents to raise. When they were killed in a car accident when Kourt was 18, she took on the responsibility of raising Key. Kourt worked full time and went to school full time, while still managing to raise Key. She got a degree in law as a paralegal, and worked that career path until meeting Sydney at the Compound. Kourt fell in love with Sydney almost immediately, and Sydney promised to put Kourt through law school to become the highest paid lawyer in the world. They were married shortly after Syd gave birth to her and Freya’s daughter, Mari. The wedding included Freya symbolically marrying Kourt and Sydney, as well. During their honeymoon, Freya impregnated Kourt and Sydney. Keylie Robinson Keylie — Key for short — is the daughter of Kourt and step-daughter to Sydney. She was born when Kourt was only 12 years old, and given to their parents to raise. She thought Kourt was her big sister until she was about eight years old. Their parents died two years previous to that. Kourt got custody of Key and Key did her best to be a good daughter. Key was 15 when they got into a car accident. The accident almost killed Key, but Kourt signed papers that allowed an experimental procedure to be done. The end result was that Key became a New Mutant. She discovered abilities with telekineses, pyrokinesis, and teleportation. She stopped aging at 19 and will always look like a teenager. She is immortal because of the procedures done on her. Key is married to Alice, and currently deciding her life path — become a Babysitter, or build a school in the Compound for other New Mutant girls. She has yet to decide. For Christmas, the primordial High Goddess Noelle gave Key and Alice their first child together, a daughter that Key wants to name Lily. Noelle also gave Key and Alice the ability to reproduce together, without the aid of IVF or a male partner. Echo Xanthis Echo is a “female companionship bot” created by funding from Sydney. She was created with the most sophisticated AI the world has ever seen, beyond anything even the government or private sectors had. Her biomechanical body was created with the best materials money could buy, giving her the feel of a “real” person. The program was shut down after Echo’s creation, ensuring that no other bots would be created with the technology. After she shut down the lab, Sydney absconded with Echo, shut her down, and put her into storage. Echo remained in storage for several years until the Compound was created and Sydney could be sure Echo would be safe there. Upon reactivation, Echo took on a role as a Babysitter in the Compound. She has since made several connections in the Compound with both humans and deities. Although, the deity who seems to be most interested in Echo is Lady Death - who finds Echo intriguing because she's most definitely alive, but cannot be killed the way most living beings can. Isabeau Mitchell Isabeau — better known as Bo — is the biological mother of Alex and Isabelle. Like her daughters, Bo is a Pure Blood Succubus. In her Succubus form she possess black wings, retractable fangs and claws, immense physical strength and superhumanly powerful senses. She Awakened when she was raped as a 15 year old. The trauma of the rape, and her slaughtering her rapist, was the catalyst for her to run clear across the country. Alex was the product of the rape. Bo sold her body as a teenage prostitute to support herself and her daughter. Isabelle came about 18 months later, but Bo never caught her “father’s” name. Reality caught up with Bo when America’s Most Wanted aired an episode about her. She was turned into the authorities and spent the next 22 years in prison for the murder she committed. Since getting out, she has reunited with her daughters, and developed sexual relationships with them. On December 23, 2024, Bo gave birth to her and Alex's first daughter together, Olivia Jade. Then on January 13, 2025, Alex gave birth to their second child together, Aubrie Reese. Bo is the definition of sinful lust. She lives and breathes sex, and does not discriminate against family. Isabelle Jacobs Isabelle — “Isa” — is Bo’s second daughter. She was born in California, but only had her mother and sister for about a year. When Bo was arrested, Isa was put up for adoption. She ended up being adopted by a Scientologist family. Early on she was put to work doing physical labor, and as a young teenager, she was enlisted in the Sea Org. She escaped the Sea Org at 15 and began running drugs in Puerto Rico. Three years later, she was arrested in Florida for trying to smuggle drugs into the United States. Her sentence was 7 years, but she was released after two. As soon as she was released, she fled her parole and ran to Seraphis Isles. It was a small chain of islands in the Adriatic Sea. There she met and fell in love with the Duchess Julianne Margrave. They were together for a couple of years before Isa left. She’d wanted a commitment from Julianne, but the Duchess was unable or unwilling to give one. So Isa left and made her way to New York City, where she worked as an escort until Alex and Bo found her. She’s since been brought to the Compound, where she doesn’t have to worry about being dragged back to prison, and she can get to know her sister and mom again. Right now it’s unclear if she’s pregnant with Alex’s child, or if Alex even can get her pregnant, but Isa would be extremely ok with it if it did happen because ultimately, it is something she secretly, privately hopes for whether it's possible or not. Just recently, Isa and Julianne were unexpectedly brought back together, and it was revealed that Isa had a three year old daughter with the Duchess. Now they’re just trying to figure out what the next steps are for them. Daiyen Hightower Daiyen was born in the Amazon rainforest in South America to a tribe of Wood Elves. She grew up there, learned Magic, and all the lessons that Elves were meant to learn, but her curiosity always got the best of her. It was curiosity that got her to leave her jungle home and venture out into the world of mankind. Her parents glamoured her ears against human eyes before she left, but that was the only preparation she had for what she was about to walk into. She found very quickly that life in South America was dangerous, so she fled North into the United States — hoping for a better and safer life there. It was only a matter of weeks from her entrance into the United States before she was dragged into a human trafficking ring. She spent six years being passed around to any man who wanted to spend a few bucks to sleep with her. It was Sydney’s war against the sex trade that saved Daiyen from forever being a slave to men. While she didn’t want to become a Babysitter at first, Daiyen did eventually come around to the idea. After losing a cherished lover, she felt she could live her life more fully as a Babysitter. For a while she found solace in being able to satisfy her sexual needs without commitment. Then she met a fellow Babysitter named Rachel. They fell in love quickly, and before long, Rachel found herself pregnant with Daiyen’s child. They have since become engaged, and seek to get married before their daughter’s birth. Kelsey Renee McAllister Kelsey Renee is one of Mik and Elizabeth’s daughters. She is the identical twin sister to Victoria Antoinette, and the fraternal twin to Nichole Marie. Like her siblings, Kelsey Renee is Nephilim, although she is more human than Angel. Unlike Nichole who is more Angel than human. Kelsey Renee has the ability to travel through space. It’s similar to teleportation that some supernaturals have, but Kelsey Renee can move beyond the planet Earth to planets millions of light years away from this one. She can also feel the spin of the planets/galaxies/universe. Like her siblings, Kelsey Renee is immortal and immune to injury. She is more like Mik than Elizabeth in personality — fiercely loving and loyal, but with a temper and rashness that could only come from Mik. She isn’t quite as rampantly sexual as her sisters and Mom, though. Like Victoria, Kelsey Renee is unable to have children of her own because of her gifts. She grew up having a sexual relationship with her moms (Mik/Elizabeth) as well as her mom-by-marriage and namesake, Kelsey. Like her moms and sisters, Kelsey Renee is able to lactate. Berlin Smith Berlin wasn’t “born” in Hell. She was one of the Angels who fought with Lucifer and Fell with him during the war in Heaven. She’d once had glorious white wings and a happy home in The Silver City. But, when Lucifer decided he wanted free will, Berlin chose to fight with him for the same right. She didn’t see how they could lose, but they did. And they were cast out of The Silver City and down into Hell. For millennia Berlin burned in the fiery lakes of Hell, until she could manage to pull herself out. She served Lucifer faithfully after she was freed. And for what seemed like billions of years, she tortured the souls that came into the realm. Until Lucifer decided to abscond and leave for L.A. He took Mazikeen with him, but unknown to them, Berlin tagged along. She fled as soon as they got to L.A. so as not to be noticed and sent back “home.” She has since been wandering the world in search of somewhere new to call home. Just recently, she heard of a place called The Compound in the Smokey Mountains of Tennessee, and went to check it out. She doesn’t know how welcome she’d be in this new place, but she was going to try to make a home there. Like most of the women in the Compound, Berlin is able to lactate. And, despite being a demon, her milk tastes almost Heavenly. Lili Jameston Lili Jameston was only born because her older brother’s health was so poor that he would need an organ donor eventually. Her parents found a doctor willing to genetically modify an embryo to match Matthew’s needs. The only requirement other than being a perfect organ donor, was for the child to be female. Her mother barely looked at her when she was born. Mostly her father and older sister raised her. She was 10 when she gave Matthew one of her kidneys, and 14 when she gave him part of her liver. That donation almost killed her. An infection followed and she was put in a medically induced coma for two weeks while the doctors pumped her full of antibiotics to fight sepsis. But she did pull through and recover. College followed. She wanted to go overseas, but her mom sabotaged all her applications, so she ended up at Loyola. She got a degree in art with a focus on photography. Then she started her own company taking pictures of events and models for magazines. When she was 24, her brother’s heart started to go out. Her sister got her to the Compound to keep her safe from their mother. She could have left after Matthew died, but decided she liked the place and stayed. Alice was the first Babysitter that Lili met. Lili told her about her brother, and her whole purpose for being alive. Alice alerted Sydney to this, and Sydney offered to help make Lili whole again with help from one of her biotech firms. Lili was upgraded to a secure suite, and her mother was put on a no entry list. Sydney, with her vast resources, set to work having Lili's mom committed to an institution where she could get mental health treatment. Lili doesn't lactate yet, but she's planning on taking Sydney's serum once her body has recovered from surgery. Dr. Samantha Carter Dr. Samantha Carter wasn’t always as put together as she seems these days. She was born the heiress to a toy fortune in New York. Her family was old money, and the business had been in her family for generations. But when her parents died, her uncle had her institutionalized so that he could lay claim to the family fortune. Sam was only 13 when she was locked up, and she didn’t get out until her Aunt was able to free her at 32. She was reunited with her younger sister and finally able to breathe free air. The first thing she did, once she had adjusted to freedom, was to go to med school to become an ER doctor. She excelled in all of her classes and was soon a resident at Mount Sinai. After her residency, the hospital hired her on. Sam continued to take classes at Harvard Med to expand her abilities as a doctor, and even got a degree in OB/GYN as well as Oncology and General Surgery. It was her skills as a doctor, and how she treated female patients that caught Sydney’s attention. The hospital in the Compound had been newly built, and they needed a doctor to head the hospital. Sam was offered a generous salary and freedom to run the hospital how she saw fit. It was an offer too good to pass up, so she took it. Since coming to the Compound, Sam has taken the serum that Sydney came up with to allow her to lactate. Dagger Montgomery Dagger was born with the Designation X5-451 and a barcode on the back of her neck. She was part of the X series of super soldiers created by the government. Her “cocktail” included the DNA from animals to make her stronger, faster, and harder to kill. In practical terms, it also meant that she didn’t sleep much, and went into heat a few times a year. When the escape happened in ’09, her and almost all of her siblings escaped the military base they were being raised on. They were only children, but they had seen what happened to imperfect soldiers, and none of them were perfect. To save their own lives, and to have futures of their own, they broke out and fled to as far from Washington state as they possibly could. Dagger, as her siblings called her, fled to the midwest. She quickly found herself in foster care and in a fairly decent home. They promised to protect her from whatever demons she was running from. But they didn’t know what was coming. She was 17 when the government tracked her down, and they slaughtered her family trying to capture her. She managed to escape, but her heart was shattered. She spent the next 7 years running and trying to stay under the radar. She was barely 25 when she heard about a place called The Compound. She heard that it was a safe location for women, all women, no matter what their circumstances. So she got there as quickly as she could, before she could be found again. She’s only just arrived, and she’s trying to make herself comfortable, but she can’t help constantly looking over her shoulder. Daiyen was the first Babysitter that Dagger met, and when she told the other woman about her situation, Daiyen promised to get word to Sydney about the younger woman's circumstances. Now Dagger is waiting to see what happens next. Austin Dane Austin was the first born child of Leslie Dane and Mayakku. The pair had been pulled together by magic and power, although Mayakku was never interested in being a parent to her daughter. Her mom tried to force Mayakku to be part of their lives for about seven years to limited success. Ultimately, all it accomplished was the birth of Austin’s younger sister, Amber. Austin was kinda glad when her mother left the picture and the fighting actually stopped. Although, around that time, Austin’s abilities were starting to emerge. She had an affinity for electrical power. Like the kind found in wall sockets and lighting storms. It became too difficult to ignore when the 8 years old stood outside in a thunderstorm and pulled lighting from the sky and into her hands. That’s when her mom decided to send her to The Academy. It was a boarding school that taught mutant children how to control their abilities. Austin only came home during the summers and for winter break. It was for that reason she was never particularly close to her younger sister. School was good for Austin, though. It gave her friends she could talk to, and a direction in life. After graduating from The Academy, Austin went to college for electrical engineering. She graduated with her Masters at 23 years old. Recently Austin and Amber have reconnected to track down Mayakku, only to discover that she had passed on, leaving behind a lot of unresolved emotions for Austin. While in the Compound tracking down their mother, Austin reconnected with a friend from The Academy, a young woman named Key. Key, and her wife, Alice, invited the sisters to become Babysitters. Austin reluctantly took her up on the offer with the promise that Key would make her an instrumental part of creating a female only version of The Academy in the Compound. PE
