Stefano Morcelli, a name that has struck fear in the hearts of New Yorkers for the last sixty years due to the tyranny underground rule he had over the local business, governments, and residents alike.
The family had taken the city by storm prior to the prohibition era and had maintained that control through the respect earned despite all the fear. The Morcelli’s had done a great job at ensuring that New York would need them throughout all of the lows. Whether it be by providing alcohol through their various speakeasies or financially pulling the city out of crisis, New Yorkers knew they could always depend on Stefano Morcelli and his men to pull through. After all, they had for the last six decades.
All the security the name brought to the city of New York began to fade on the evening of June 5, 2020 when the body of Stefano Morcelli was found hanging from the wing of the Bethesda Fountain in Central Park. This changed everything, not only for Giorgina Morcelli, the only child of Stefano, but for the state of New York as a whole. The fact that Stefano Morcelli had been taken down by an unknown suspect was terrifying enough for most, but those who had the Morcelli protection were fearful that Giorgina would not be able to provide what her father had all of these years. Many believe it is due to the fact that she is a female, others find her far too young to have the experience needed. Some didn’t feel as though she would be able to keep control of the family business, after all, females are far too emotional to be able to handle such work, especially after the loss of someone as important as a father.
Giorgina took all of this personally, the death of her father, the doubt that she would be able to carry on the family name, the doubt of her strength due to what was between her legs. Nothing was going to get in the way of her finding out the truth of what happened to her father and bring back the respect and fear that struck the hearts of all that heard it. Nothing except the masked murderer that happened to show up a few months after daddy dearest’s death. The man goes by the name Macheta. The Spanish terrorist pushed Giorgina off the path of truth and revenge and onto one that required her to prove her power of New York and it’s residents. The brutal feud between Ms. Morcelli and Macheta left many bodies of the innocent in their wake. There was no one, man, woman, or child, spared during this small scale war.
The battle for the city prevailed for just over a year until the arrival of a mysterious INTERPOL agent, Amara Pedretti. She is on the hunt for any evidence that could lead to the imprisonment of Giorgina Morcelli and any leads on Macheta’s true identity.
We hope our residents have no international crimes to hide.
