Alissia Montgomery (born Alice Halsey O'Hare) was diagnosed as being fully deaf at four months old. She was born in Dublin Ireland as the second child to her mother and father. Her older (by two years) brother Clarence tended to protect his little sister and tries not to hover. As she got older she received her cochlear implants so that she could hear (and not hear) when she pleased. the family ended up moving to America when Alice was seven, which led to her name being changed to Alissia from Alice and taking her father’s last name Montgomery instead of her mother’s O'Hare. growing up in New Jersey for three years, her family then moved to New York to give her proper schooling for both sign language and speech. at the age of eleven, her parents divorced which led to Clarence living with their father and Alissia living with her mother. the girl’s life was dangerous, but it led her to be book-smart at school and street-smart when she was home. Her mother remarried to a young rocker named Matthew who owned a club called Fire and Ice. Sadly, both passed away from a drug overdose when Alissia was seventeen, and her biological father did not want her so she moved in with her boyfriend when she was close to eighteen. However, staying with her boyfriend wasn’t the best idea. He was abusive and ended up raping her and taking her virginity. Weeks later she found out she was pregnant, and she battled with whether or not to get an abortion. Alissia decided to keep her child since she believed the baby was innocent in all of it. Her boyfriend Zack got drunk one night, and an argument between the couple ensued. Zack beat Alissia, and she fell down a flight of stairs, including stress Alissia miscarried and lost her baby girl. Alissia is now on the run from her ex-boyfriend, afraid that if he finds her he will finish the job.
