About me: Growing up:
Ashley grew up as an only child with just her mother, since her father left the scene before she was even born. She was close with her mom, and had a lot of respect for her for raising a child on her own. When Ashley finished high school, she moved out of her motherโs house in Raccoon City and moved into her own apartment, where she stayed, studying in college, until 1998.
September, 1998:
She was up late in her apartment studying for an exam when the whole building shook as if an earthquake were coming through. The smell of fire also inhaled her nostrils, and she noticed smoke seeping under her front door. Acting quickly, the brunette escaped the building through a fire escape that was accessible from her window, and by the time she made it to the ground, the building had burst into flames. She stood there for a moment while watching it ablaze, wondering what the hell just happened. She didnโt have much time to think before she was swooped by the arm, while being yelled to run. Upon looking to see who grabbed her, she noticed it was her neighbor Jill Valentine, the RPD S.T.A.R.S officer. If anyone had answers to what just happened, it would definitely be her, but she wasnโt in the mood to chat as she pulled her along the street, shooting bullets at people growling and gurgling, reaching out to try and grab them. Ashley was beyond confused, and unfortunately this confusion only got worse as she noticed something chasing them. It looked like some sort of biohazard creature, and it kept yelling out โSTARSโ. Eventually, amidst the chaos, Jill and Ashley made it to safety where they met Carlos Oliveira and his UBCS team. Jill forced Ashley to stay in safety while her and Carlos figured things out, but the only thing she was worried about was getting her mother to safety, if she was alive, that is.
After Raccoon City:
Ashley continued her degree in journalism and eventually graduated, becoming an investigative reporter. She couldnโt help but to feel unhappy in her career, and always thought she could strive for something better. She stayed in contact with Jill ever since that fateful night, and learned more about the outbreak and discovered what Umbrella did to cause it. Jill eventually coaxed Ashley into joining the BSAA years after the attack, and she obliged. She did it for her mother, who unfortunately did not survive the outbreak from 1998.
During BSAA:
While working under BSAA, Jill introduced ashley to Chris, and they immediately hit it off. She joined him on his mission to the Dulvey, Louisiana estate, where the Mold infection was spreading and they rescued the Wintersโ family. After that incident, she joined Chris in going rogue and creating Hound Wolf Squad, where they traveled to Europe to bring Ethan and Rose into protection. When being transported, their vehicle broke down near an old fashioned village. Ashley had been separated from her team during the crash, and she woke up in the front of a half-collapsed, shed-sized home. She quickly noticed something observing her from one of the windows, which looked likeโฆ a wolf? She was, of course, confused since it looked like no ordinary wolf, as it walked on two legs and was wearing torn clothing. She immediately noted that these.. โwolvesโ mustโve been human once.
Upon hearing a sound from behind her, Ashley turned and found two more of the wolves now blocking her only path out, growling and sneering their teeth. She quickly scrambled to her feet and unholstered her pistol, aiming it at every creature as a way to scare them offโฆ which didnโt work. Without a second more, one of the wolves howled and jumped for Ashley, which prompted her to shoot in response. The bullet only grazed the creatureโs furry shoulder, before its claws slapped the weapon out of her hand and pinned her down. The creature was heavy, and the BSAA agent felt nearly defenseless pinned under its weight. Its nose hovered over her face, sniffing her like a dog while drooling and growling in her ear, before ๐๐๐ฉ๐๐ฃ๐ her. Little did Ashley know that this bite would change her life ๐๐ค๐ง๐๐ซ๐๐ง.

After the events of RE: Village, everyone made it back to the BSAA headquarters, and Ashley was immediately sent to medical to receive care. While there, the doctors noticed the severity of her wound and questioned how she didnโt die, and upon receiving news that she had been bit, she was quickly transferred over to the BSAA science wing for quarantine and testing. The scientists completed numerous tests; ranging from blood, urine, swabs, and even MRIs. Ashley wasnโt very fluent in the scientific field, but after days of being poked and prodded, they had finally come up with a solution;
she was ๐ช๐ฎ๐ฎ๐ถ๐ฏ๐ฆ.
The bite she had received infected her with both the Mold infection ๐ข๐ฏ๐ฅ Cadou infestation. The Mold replicated her cells, which is commonly seen in people infected with it, but with Ashley, nothing physically changed due to her cell imitations, which was odd, since most subjects turned into non-human creatures upon being infected. After her quarantine was over, Chris deemed it necessary to place Ashley into protection due to being at high risk for experimentation because of her immunity, which she absolutely refused. Nevertheless, she was still placed in protection in a large home in the woods, based out in the northern area of New York. Her home is almost constantly surrounded by BSAA agents, and chris and Jill come to visit her often.
