"Nothing wrong with being the one to ask. If you want something, you ask, isn't that right? If it makes you feel better, I would have gotten up the courage soon enough," he laughed, returning every single kiss that was offered. "Wooyoungie, the thought of marrying you, the thought of having a family, of being with you until the end of time itself, is so appealing to me. It's what I want more than absolutely anything."
His hands returned to Wooyoung's face, fingers gently wiping the tears from his skin. "Shh. It's okay. I thought about it. I did. I was just worried it was too soon, worried you would want to wait a little longer. Suppose that was silly of me, hm?" he teased, nose brushing against Wooyoung's softly. "How could I ever say no to a lifetime with you? With my best friend? Come now. You know how loved you are."
A quiet laugh floated free, San watching as the other sank to his knee. In truth, he'd thought about closing his own ramble with the question. However, where Wooyoung didn't have a ring, San did. It was one he wore on his index finger every single day, one he'd had for quite some time. With a grin, San brough himself to his own knee, hands raising to cradle the face of the other gently. "Of course. Of course, I'll marry you. Absolutely," he assured him, pressing a few light kisses to the other's lips. Then his hands dropped and San worked the ring off of his index finger before taking Wooyoung's left hand and slotting the simple band in place on the other's ring finger. "You can get me a ring some other time, hm? For now, I think that's a pretty good placeholder, don't you?"
From the very first day, you have been my best friend, biggest supporter, and the best partner in crime I could have ever asked for. From our dance covers, to the moments where we tease, to now where we love so freely and openly, every moment with you has been one worth remembering. You have the brightest smile I've ever seen, the most infectious laugh, and give the warmest hugs imaginable. Truly, I'm so very blessed that you've chosen me to love. So this is my promise to you. I will spend the rest of my life making sure that smile remains in place. I'll be there when things are too difficult for you to handle them on your own. For every single high, for every single low, I'll be right beside you, holding your hand, protecting your heart, and showing you the love you deserve. No one will ever hurt you, you will never fall for I will always be there to steady you when you stumble. I do not deserve the honor of holding your heart so close to my own but I'm so very grateful that you have trusted me with it. Your trust is well placed and I promise you will never have to question if you've made the right choice. I love you. I will always love you.
