Taking in the sunset, looked alot different than from where she's from. Being out here, like this, was a first time for her. She knew Sam would probably be jealous that she's getting to experience being at the beach. "Rafe must of been popular in your family. Your the type that feels like they don't belong?" Taking another hit with fewer coughs this time letting the weed sink in. "I was eight when my sister found out who she really was. My dad left that day too. It was just me and my drunken mom. I was so mad and waited years for her to come back but she never did. Least not until I got stabbed. Having to live through something like that changes a person mentally".
Looking out into the ocean, her attention turning back to the guy as he introduced himself to her as Rafe. Bringing the joint back to her lips taking another big hit. "Your the first Rafe I've ever met". Looking around the whole place as he started talking about his dad. Then realized that his dad was killed. "I'm so sorry. I know what it feels like to lose people but not what it feels like to lose a parent. It sucks alot. But in time you'll start to get better!" She grabbed the lighter to light back up hers taking another hit letting out a light cough,"so is all most do here is swim, surf and smoke weed?" A small smirk crossed her face. "This mean you own everything?"
She was telling a stranger about the worst day of her life. Then again, it was better to let it out than keep it in. It felt good, letting someone else know about what happened to her. "Me and Sam are half sisters. Different fathers. Nope, I'm not related to a psychopath". She got down taking the seat next to him with her legs hanging next to his taking the lighter he offered her then handed it back. Taking a hit off the joint then after a few seconds she exhaled looking out into the ocean. "Name's Tara. I'm here on vacation wanting to get away from the world. Trying to escape my nightmares. This is my first time on a beach".
Watching his as he made her's deciding not to disobey his orders. Taking the rolled up blunt from him,"can I have a light?" Then she saw him notice the scar marks on her body. Looking down at them. A couple in her back, one on her stomach & across her hand. Being stabbed like that, treated as a pin cushion, that memory will never fade. Staring down at the ground as she answered,"I was attacked by a psychopath in a Ghostface mask. Stabbed seven times, and a broken leg" showing him the scar over her hand,"because my older sister is related to the original Ghostface killer."
She had to admit, being out here & the view was beautiful. You don't get views like this in Woodsboro. Nodding her head over to Rafe as he told her what it was spiked with,"I don't mind if it's spiked with weed. Was kinda hoping it was!" She looked out at the water. Everything just looked so gorgeous,"this place has a nice view. Better than the view back home!" The only other time she smoked weed was with Mindy at one of her parties back in High School. It really took the edge off. Something that she needed. Even if Sam wouldn't approve.
Here felt so much better than Woodsboro. Being away from everyone and her overprotective clingy sister. But she got it, after everything they've been through Tara almost died. Sam left them and blamed herself for everything. It was technically her fault for leaving them and being Billy's daughter.
Dressed in a cute black bikini with people all around her having a good time. The water was cold but getting out the sun hitting her skin felt good. But later on, the beach emptied out. She talked with a few girls and guys trying to make friends. The scars along her body & hand shown but nobody asked about them. Getting up from her towel she walked along the edge feeling the water run across her feet making it to the pier. She saw some guy at the end. The sun slowly going down coming up behind him.
