Five thousand years ago my home Khandaq was a peaceful place where people thrived and lived their lives,but all that changed when an evil king took over the lands and enslaved us all just so that we would find the precious dimonds known as Eternium to forge an all powerful crown that was blessed by the 7 demons of old and would give the king unlimited powers.
My son stood up to the king and protected the people and for that the king was going to have him killed but before they could strike him down the wizard council of old took him to their temple and made him a hero.
My son had many victories with the powers given to him but the king then sent his men after us to make him pay for standing up to him. My wife was killed in front of me and I was struck down as well,but that wasn't to be my end for my son came to me and gave me his powers,but in that moment he was killed by an arrow shot by the king's assasins.
My suit and powers were then born out of rage and vengence and I went to the king to destroy him and everyone else and my powers destroyed the palace as well.
The wizards saw what I had done and they tried to take my power so I killed those that got in my way,but they were still able to trap me in a tomb and there I lay for those five thousand years unaware of the changes my country had gone through and the advances the world had made as well.
I was woken by a woman who did so to save her life and that of her brother and when the men attacked me I used my powers to kill them all...it was glorious and wonderful violence as well.
One rocket shot at me was able to wound me though and that is when I found out that my only weakness is Eternium it's self which is interesting really. The woman and her brother took me back to their place where I slowly healed from my wound.
When I woke I didn't know where I was or what was going on but then a boy started to talk to me about powers and things like that but all I wanted to do was get out of there. This boy insisted and he was also the son of the woman who freed me so I listened to what he had to say.
He tought me to say something before killing the enemies and so I tried a few times,though they died too soon and I never got a chance to say it fully. That is when the Justice Sociaty decided I was a threat and came to confront me. That didn't go too well for them in the long run,but in the end we came to an understanding.
When the boy was captured we worked together to try and get him back but I lost my temper and my powers caused an explotion that almost hurt everyone but killed the man that had captured the boy.
When the demon Sabbac came to life I was summoned by Doctor Fate to help in the fight and before I did so the gods gave me a chance to see my family again. My son told me to go and stop the demon and so I spoke the words 'Shazam' and I flew off to help them all.
In the end Hawkman and I fought him and I was able to tare him apart and the city was safe once more and free as well...for now any way.
I then destroyed the throne after sitting in it and I became the Dark Hero that the city needed as it's champion. This is my city and they are my people and if anyone dares try to harm them they will suffer by my hand...I am Black Adam!
