About me:
DeVante Porter was born on October 8, 1995 in Los Angeles, California. He had been a gifted athlete his whole life, even as a child. He had received multiple full D1 scholarships to play basketball his senior year of high school after amazing seasons. Sadly, that all changed after breaking his leg in a game and it just was never the same again. He struggled with the reality that he would never go pro like he had dreamed of doing, entering a deep depression. He had no back up plan, as ball was all he truly aimed for.
After graduation, DeVante had turned to the streets as a gangbanger, becoming a Crip and resorted to robbing, shooting, and even selling drugs to make his money. Using that money he started buying studio time for music, mostly just to fool around but he quickly grew a following through social media. DeVante started to take his rapping more seriously and got signed to Atlantic Records.
