persephone halliwell-turner. three. listed as a missing child. adopted as a newborn. living in fairview. persephone halliwell-turner is the biological daughter of phoebe halliwell and cole turner. she was born with a crescent moon shaped birthmark on her right wrist. a couple of hours after being born, persephone was kidnapped right out of the nursery in the hospital. despite the best efforts of the police, persephone was unable to be located. she was taken by her kidnapper to another state where she was later abandoned and adopted by a couple whose baby was born still born. persephone looked just like their deceased child, so they quietly adopted the child and pretended that she was biologically their child, naming her morgan.
morgan was raised in fairview where she was raised by katherine and mike delfino. on morgan's third birthday she became extremely ill with leukemia, which led to kidney failure. mike tested to see if he would be a match, and although they had the same blood type of ab-, his blood pressure was far too high. this caused both katherine and mike to seek out morgan's biological parents, as they doubted that morgan would receive a kidney in time while on the transplant list.
mike had managed to track down who had abandoned morgan at the hospital and had learned that she had kidnapped morgan from a hospital in san francisco, california. the woman who took her had been a stalker of phoebe halliwell. mike had informed katherine, who then spoke to one of their neighbors, an attorney named bob, that if they continued down this path that they would most likely have to return morgan to her biological parents and that they might not see her again. after some discussion, they decided that they had no choice as morgan was getting sicker and if she did not have a transplant soon then she would die.
after meeting with phoebe and cole as well as explaining their situation, both of them tested to see if they would be a suitable match, with phoebe eventually agreeing to donate to morgan one of her kidneys. phoebe and cole had explained to morgan that she had been taken by a bad guy when she was a baby and that they were her real parents. this only upset morgan, who didn't want to go with them. they decided to give morgan a little time to say goodbye to her adoptive family so that they could prepare to bring morgan home. mike refused to give up and hired bob to help them fight for custody, but in the end they lost and were forced to give up morgan to her biological parents.
