Paris, France. Nineteen hundred, eighty-eight. This was the year so many great things were created. From fashion to music to even certain vehicles, it was the era of change. A change was coming. It was a very hot day, on the last day of May, when the precious brunette baby girl entered the world. She was the baby of the family. The only child of her mothers, she never needed for anything.
LBeing born to a wealthy family, Sho has to admit that during her teenage years she went wild. She was a bitch. She knows this, and fights with the guilt she has over the things she has done. It was this guilt that changed her life. At fifteen, Shoshanna left her home in Paris and moved to Louisville Kentucky with her aunt, uncle, and baby cousin Elijah. She finished high school here, and went on to attend the local university for business and culinary. Shoshanna had found an apartment, and used the money she got from babysitting to pay the rent. Graduating both times with honors, Shoshanna was a force to be feared.With her background, money, and intelligence, Shoshanna could do anything she wanted. At this time Shoshanna is twenty one, and slowly learning how corrupted her family is. On both maternal and paternal sides. Her mother, Shayleigh Vuitton, the sister to the one and only Louis Vuitton was corrupted in vain. They were better than anyone. They were godlike. Her fathers side, very successful law firm prodigies, were corrupted with money laundering, drug cartels, and human trafficking.
Shoshanna wouldn't learn about the human trafficking until her thirties. Wanting to be out of the chaotic madness, Shoshanna cut off all contact with her family. Soon after, Elijah, her baby cousin escaped as well, and came to stay with her. This is also the time Shoshanna meets and becomes best friends with Jupiter. Jupiter and Shoshanna instantly hit it off, which now is more family than a friendship.
By twenty six, Shoshanna had bought a small local shop that was below her apartment, and opened up the bakery known as WAKE N BAKE. This is Shoshannas baby. It was around this time that Shoshanna met her future husband Mikael. Jupiter introduced them. Mikael being her cousin, and the bartender for Jupiters husband. Sho was in a secretly abusive relationship at this time, that would lead to Elijah being over protective, and Sho in a relationship with Mikael. After a night of abuse, Mikael came to her aid and beat the shit out of the male. Mikael and Sho were married August twenty third, the following year.

Feeling the confusion build as to what was going on, not only was her best friend married to her cousin but now? Now she was telling her she'd slept with her Brother. Shuttering at the thought of her sleeping with not only her cousin but her brother made Jupiters skin crawl. Looking at her best friend once more, she grabbed her own margarita off the table before signing as she spoke."Girl, what happens if you get pregnant? Will you even know who the father is?" She asked curiously, her eyes piercing into her best friends face as she felt her head spinning more. Never in a million years did Jupiter thing she'd be having this convo with her friend, or in this situation.
Taking a long drink, she put her drink on the table before looking back up at Sho as she spoke once more."How did it even lead up to this point? How did you end up in bed with my brother? I never thought i'd be asking my best friend, who is married to my cousin these questions." Laughing a bit more, the blonde leaned against the couch as she let her eyes study her friends more waiting on the answers to start flowing out of her mouth.

It starts with the eyes, the glistening within the irises, and the way that a look could wound you without expression. It ends with the mouth, the words that flow in perfect harmonies, like a bullet to the heart without the slightest effort of a trigger being pulled. Mikael couldn't help this look of awe that started in his eyes and ended with his petals that parted with a wide genuine smile. I'll love you always, in this life and the next.
Mikael was in such disbelief he almost laughed as if this was a sick morbid joke she told, but no laughter surfaced and his hands collapsed against his face. This was sickening, how could she, how could he? The trust they had for each other was indeed divided now. Of course, he stepped out on her and slept with someone but two wrongs never made a right. And right now he bet his bottom dollar this is what she felt broken-hearted and in utter disbelief that this could happen to them.
"I slept with Callum and I think, I'm in love with him. ;" Her words rephrased in his head, on a loop as he pinched the bridge of his nose with his fingers, looking away from her with this wounded expression, words couldn't begin to describe what he felt in the essence of that second. Karma indeed had collected her toll, as he turned to face away from her. " Don't act like your surprised Mikael... You've seen us together."
She just supplied salt to his wound, he had seen them smiling as if no one was watching, and now that suspicion he had was now valid. The thoughts of Callum's hands on his wife made his stomach turn and his pulse quicken with rage. Letting his hands fall to his sides he looked back over at her with a raised brow.
His voice was low and detached, as he looked directly at her " Is that it? That's all you gotta say." He took a step closer to her, his eyes staring into the depth of her soul as his head knocked to the side, " Out of everyone you could've chosen, you chose the one person that would hurt me the most, my own flesh and blood, real smooth Shoshanna. You're a class act you know that." He leaned on his heels, before he turned his back to her, " You did this to us first, you slept with that skank at the clubhouse. And lied to me for weeks, weeks that I went thinking I did something wrong!" He clenched his jaw, teeth-rattling in his mouth as his head shot back to her. " You did, you pulled away. You pushed me away, why because you were going behind my back and f***.ing my cousin it would seem as so." He glared at her, " That wasn't the damn case Simpson and you know it, I had a f***.ing had a miscarriage you heartless prick, maybe if you weren't so hyper-focused on that little boy's club of yours, you would've seen the changes in my behavior. Feel better now?" Shoshanna's hands were thrown into the air as he stared back at her in shock.
Mikael's disgusted expression, once worn was now faded as those oceanic tints, widen briefly as his hands fell roughly at his sides without fault. He sighed out heavily, what could he do or say after that. Licking his petals, he ran his tongue along his lower pout. " I didn-... didn't know, how was I supposed to know or notice things when you play pretend? Pretend you want this but the real truth is you don't anymore do you Sho? Do you want to be with him? Fine, I'll make it simple for you, blame it on my indiscretion, my unfaithful tendencies. Make me the bad guy that way you can sleep at night." He turned his back to her, still enraged, he looked down at his feet as his eyes filled with an ocean. They lost a child, something they both tried for, yearned to bring into this world, or was it just him and his idealism of a family he never had.
Another night stained him with regret as he bedded another faceless female, just to feel anything of the sort, days had gone by since his conversation with Shoshanna and here he was at the clubhouse with this faceless broad whom he couldn't recall her name, in drunk-daze, she led him back into the room and he underwent his need to feel anything, regret, sorrow, loss. The all-consuming guilt for the loss of an unborn child he never got to hold, to cherish. The lies he told to keep his heart at bay, if she could sleep around so could he. He wouldn't be a smitten fool, a puppet of love if she didn't put in the effort too.
As the female reached around and attempted to grab and pull him back into bed, his voice lowered as he looked over at her, those whisk of baby blues darkened as he said lowly " Get lost. " To which with no hesitation she did, shutting the door behind her, as she left he poured himself a glass of whiskey and downed it within one go. As he did the least expected thing happened and it concerned his wife, hearing commotion outside the bedroom door. " Where do you think you're going bitch?" A slap was echoed as his head turned as he spotted Shoshanna, with this look of disgust, his shoulders shrugged wildly. What'd she'd expect, he be at home waiting for her long return? waiting up for the love that would never cease to catch up?
