About me: William Forsythe, the actor who portrayed Sheriff John Quincy Wydell described him as 'a legend in his own mind.' Sheriff Wydell is an UPTIGHT southern Christian cowboy law-enforcement trooper. In 'the Devil's Rejects' his chief mission is to avenge the death of his brother LIEUTENANT GEORGE WYDELL who was shot and killed in the first film 'House of 1,000 Corpses.'
Guns, whiskey, the bible, aand MERCILESSLY torturing serial killers are his favorite pastime. Sheriff Wydell's the guy who will shoot down to WOUND a felon once he's spotted him on sight. ONCE said gunshot wounded fugitive is on the ground and bleeding is SHERIFF JOHN'S beginning of morbid fun. He's the embodiment of karma itself in the sense that he is predator to every hardened criminal. Imagine if you will a KING who wants to TORMENT the kidnapped enemies who killed members of his kingdom and community... in an attempt to AVENGE THEM.
In Sheriff Wydell's mind, he believes he is an emissary of God, an agent sent to the world to torture violent men via a vessel working through law-enforcement. In fact, even IF John Wydell was NOT working in law-enforcement, he would still find ways to gather resources to look for violent-tempered criminals to hunt ruthlessly and kill at random in the belief he's doing the 'righteous deed from our Lord and Savior.' Mr. Wydell is from a LINEAGE of vigilante cowboys from as far back as his Grandfather, a lawman who rode with the infamous Tom Horne.

John Quincey Wydell was born November 16, 1925 in Witchita, Kansas and moved to Dallas Texas as a child. He attended school in Dallas and graduated from South Oak Cliff High School in 1943.
John Quincey Wydell joined and served with the United States Marine Corps, achieving the rank of 1st Lieutenant, being honorably discharged in 1951. After leaving the Marines he served in Johnson City as Assistant City Prosecutor and Assistant City Solicitor, and was elected Johnson City County Prosecutor from 1960-1967. In 1969, he donned the robes of justice and took the bench as a Court of Common Pleas Judge until 1972 when he was appointed to serve an unexpired term as Sheriff. In 1976, he was reelected to a 4 year term as Sheriff.

Charlie had come from another town where people didn't have as strong an accent as the Sheriff's, so she laughed every time she heard him speak. The girl was standing in front of the man. She carried her Hello Kitty backpack on her back.

Charlie kept silent, she didn't want to tell her about the men who were following her, she didn't want to ruin the moment.
Chloe listened as she took notes from ehar he was aging. There would be a few that she would have to look for. But those that he was describing,they wouid stick out like a sore thumb. So it didn't faze her when she heard the message from the cop that reminded her of a cowboy. After getting the number,she called him back. "This is Chloe Decker. I heard you have some cases you want to look into?"she asked when he's heard the voice on the other end.
Oooh wow sounds like a great resume to me!! Maybe it could even be a book, should I get writing?? *She laughed, gently resting her handcuffed wrists on the table before wiggling around awkwardly. Harley never had been great at sitting in one place for a long time. She did know however that her reputation often preceded her, even though it did sound he got all of the basics on her.*

The solitude was too much for Harley. She had no choice but to prance around in circles, average holding cell that kept the criminally insane in a box. For days she's been here, talking to herself and trying to keep her mind busy with events from her past. Not too far, but events that got her here in the first place. She was handcuffed against her will when reports about a deadly crime took place a few weeks back. Apparently, she was the main suspect and moving lips began to tell stories about Harley stating that she was spotted near the scene where the crime took place.
Of course if it was true then she wouldn't remember. She had seen so many faces, bloodied and dislocated jaws wobbling as they struggled to pronounce words such as please or spare me. It was the dreams during the night that vividly verified that some of these murders were done by her hands. When the door to her cell opened, Harley turned away from the wall where she peeled at the white chalk breaking from the concrete. Harley did everything to compose herself when she saw the Sheriff enter her cell. Her eyes squinting, processing his words as he insulted and complemented her at the same time. "The Joker almost got his neck slit and when I get out of here then I'll have the opportunity to try again." she was confident, this place could not keep her here for long. What would they do to her?
Harley sat against the wall, knees to her chest as she watched him taunt her. Occasionally she looked near the exit, wanting with every inch of her being to make a run for it, but she wouldn't make it. The security was too tight. For now, she would have to endure this sh*t. "Hurry up already. Start your interrogation and waste both our times with questions that'll never get answer, Sheriff!! I don't have time to listen to your sh*t any longer. You don't have anything on me. I don't even know why I'm here."
