Adelaide Thompson was born on a blustery Fall day October 29, 1482. She is the oldest child of Rick and Cynthia Thompson out of four siblings. In her younger years, she was an academic overachiever. Her unique genetic background was concealed from her until she reached the age of eleven, wherein her metamorphosis from girl to young woman was more than she bargained for. She developed in the same way that all the other girls around her were. When she began sprouting tufts of black fur all over her body, not to mention her arms and legs becoming distorted and razor sharp claws springing from her fingers on top of her regular fingernails, she naturally had some questions!
Luckily for her, her first spontaneous transformation didn't take place in public. She was at home when it occurred, and she immediately began screaming since she was utterly clueless as to what the hell was going on. Whereas she expected both of her parents to come rushing to her, only her mother appeared. This fact struck her as odd, for it was the middle of the night. Where was her father at? Once her mother noticed her appearance, she didn't seem the least bit surprised by it. In fact, it seemed as though she was expecting this bizarre phenomenon to occur sooner or later. It was then that Cynthia sat her daughter down and explained to her that she wasn't human at all, like Adelaide had assumed she was all of these years. She was actually part lycan due to her mother, and part werewolf due to her father. Lycans and werewolves typically didn't mate with one another, so her's and her sibling's conception was sort of forbidden, in a sense.
Throughout the decades, she had multiple suitors, most of which were lycans or werewolves, yet she never experienced a truly deep connection with any of them. She cared for them, even loved them, but she had never fully fallen in love. Well, with a person, anyway. She was in love with her profession of being a clothing designer. She had been sewing ever since she was fourteen years old, her mother having taught her how to do it. Her skill for making clothing was highly impressive, yet her ability to mesh certain fabrics together and create an absolutely beautiful, polished garment was her hidden gem of a talent. Her mother also bestowed her knowledge of remedies for common ailments up on her, which only expanded as she got older. She also learned how to cook and bake, which she gradually improved upon as the years passed by.
Her and her pack typically isolated themselves from others, especially humans. She was fully aware of the dangers humans could pose to their existence, despite walking amongst them. She was certainly a walking contradiction, if there ever was one.
