The name's Ellie I used to have it all or so I thought any way when I was a kid. When you are a kid everything seems so good and innocent and for the most part you are shelterd from the darkness of the world only to see the beauty and fun of it all.
I was one of those kids,both my parents were kind and loving people who did everything they could to make sure my little sister Emily and I had a good life growing up. My father was a world renowned Martial Artist and had won his fair share of Karate tournaments in his day and my mother is a well known lawyer who kicks butt in the courtroom but she only takes the clients she knows are innocent and represents those who can't afford a lawyer of their own when she can.
When I turned 3 and my sister Emily was 1 years old my father got a job working as a fight choreorapher for movies and he loved every moment of it. We loved it too because we got to see all the movie sets and the inns and outs of how they do things when filming a movie.
When I turned 5 I saw my father doing a Kata in his dojo and I asked him to teach me Martial Arts. He wasn't sure about it at first but when I kept coming back and trying to copy his moves he decided to trian me.
We trained every day that we could in that dojo or as Emily and I called it back then Daddy's Workshop. Things were good for us all until a year ago when my father started to get sick and eventually the doctors told us he had cancer.
He fought it for as long as he could but eventually it won and he passed away. When that happend I became withdrawn and spent a lot of my time training myself in his dojo, but when at school I would let my anger out and that got me into fights and trouble with my teachers.
Mom got a new job in California and so she moved us all to a new town and both Emily and I became the new girls in our schools. I knew the history of the town because I looked it up and was surprised to see it was conciderd the Karate Town as it were.
When in school I watched the different groups and how they acted around each other. I eventually learned the names of the different dojos as well but I have no interest in joining any of them seeing how I already know how to fight and defend myself,that is all I need.
