About me: Born in Thebes, Egypt to the Great Pharaoh Anubis and Princess Sakkara. Inu-Yasha lived a life of hardship and pain as neither Gods nor mortals humans would accept him and give him a place among them. Not even his half-brother, Sesshomura, would give him a small bit of pity as a young child or even his step-mother, not that he could ever find her home. His mother tried to prepare him the best she could but most of what he learned was on his own.
Inu-Yasha spent 150 years on his own until he met Kikyo during his coming of age where he should’ve been with family to understand the changes in his body. Unfortunately, Naraku sent any form of happiness he may have dreamed of to dust as he pinned Inu-Yasha and Kikyo against each other. It would take 50 years for him to be freed of the tree and arrow by ssome young female mortal named Kagome. Despite his doubts about her being from the future, he traveled with her to collect the Shikon Jewel at first it was for his desire to be a full God of Destruction. As he traveled with his growing group of friends he found he had no desire to have that wish fulfilled.
When Inu-Yasha, his friends, and Sesshomaru finally defeated Naraku after so much loss of friends to Naraku it was such a relief to end it. Unfortunately, Naraku had one last twist of the knife to give them by sending Kagome into the Shikon Jewel and nearly making her be the new soul of the Jewel. Inu-Yasha went through the portal to save Kagome not knowing the fate that lay in store for her but with his help, Kagome made the right wish to make the jewel disappear. When they separated by fate Inu-Yasha decided to look for how to blend in with the village or just any other human settlement. During the years without Kagome, Sango and Miroku got married and had three children. Inu-Yasha began to travel throughout Egypt to help with construction to rebuild the villages attacked by demons, humans, and Naraku’s attacks. He also discovered that the love he felt for Kagome was not what he thought it was but the well never opened up and he wasn't sure if he would look for her in her time.
Inu-Yasha and Sesshomaru developed some level of respect for each other as he made an effort to reach out to his brother many times to try and have some relationship but those were far and sometimes just quiet tea sessions for an hour or two at worst something about Sesshomaru disapproving about some life choice of his. He did stand beside his brothers during political events as Sesshomaru did claim him as part of his clan and did some under-the-table dealings that Sesshomaru couldn't be caught covered in blood in.
Centuries went on and while his friends’ families grew in many ways Inu-Yasha felt the love and loss of it. Before he knew it he was the head of the once small village now a large town and by then he hadn’t noticed how calm and patient he got over the centuries. He watched the world change around him at times it seemed like a blink of an eye while other days he felt the drag of time around him.
As the town began to join a more controlled and stable government Inu-Yasha stepped down from his position as most demons disappeared into legends and he wanted to have less responsibility. He wanted to spend more time developing his art and other interests. He went to college on the funds he saved up over the years to learn English, get a high school diploma, and moreover to have some kind of history on himself.
Inu-Yasha thought about meeting up with the now young Kagome and he did spot her a few times but it seemed Sesshomaru somehow knew when he would be there too. Watching the child Kagome grow made him sad that she was Kikyo reincarnation and he couldn’t tell her of what her future held. After a few months into Kagome’s trip back in time, Inu-Yasha watched her one last time before leaving her forever. He had his time with her and he would not ruin that for his past self.
Now Inu-Yasha lives on his own with several businesses under his name, fake names, he owns a few homes in different countries he sometimes rents out to friends, and basically lives a modest lifestyle. He gives to charities and makes sure his employees are taken care of for school, money towards college, and a reference for other jobs if they wish to move up in their job choice. He spends his moonless night with Sesshomaru as the modern world is safe for him but he still gets nervous and seeks his brother now as they are on better terms and finds safety in his home. It's also nice to be around his brothers to just be in there company.
