Alexander Colbourne is a very reclusive and antisocial man. He comes off as very stoic and distant to those around him, unsure of how to conduct himself in friendly conversation. He is a heavily guarded man who has a very poor opinion of himself, due to past traumas and regrets. Beneath all of that, Alexander is a kind and generous man and protective of those he cares for.
Appearance
Alexander Colbourne is a tall young man, standing at six foot. He has very broad shoulders and a toned build. He has rich dark hair that is often seen as messy, with deep brown eyes to match. He often sports stubble upon his chin and can be seen wearing darker shades of clothes.
Aafter the death of his wife, Lucy Colbourne, Alexander largely withdrew from society. He became known as a recluse and a miser and soon became a ghost to Sanditon. He did not engage with anyone not even his own daughter, Leonora. Some years later Alexander found himself the guardian of his niece, Augusta Markham after the death of her parents. Both Leonora and Augusta became restless and unhappy in his care, desperate for a taste of the world outside Heyrick Park. It wasn't until Alexander hired a governess, a Charlotte Heywood, did their dull and lonely life change. Charlotte brought light into a place where only darkness existed, she breathed life not only into the house but the occupants as well.
