Likes: Music, books, vintage antiques, hugs, helping loved ones, comfortable beds, cuddling, singing, dancing, puns
Dislikes: Loud people, silence, rudeness, crowds, seeing friends in pain, bright lights, arrogance
Personality: Vladimir comes across as a cheerful, affectionate young man and /is/ so. He welcomes everyone he meets with open arms, even literally if preferred. Vlad displays ample use of dry, sarcastic humour and has quite the foul mouth despite the fact that he is often playful in his interactions. He prefers honesty over lies, especially with loved ones. Of which there aren't many, and thus he has a tendency to quickly grow attached to those he meets. Even so, he is slow to truly trust, but once he does then he becomes very protective and, some might say, possessive. He avoids confrontation if possible, especially of the physical kind, but is able to defend himself due to his flexibility, speed and use of knives.
History: Vladimir's family moved from Russia to the U.S. when he was a child. They weren't well off, his father working in a factory and his mother in a maid service. Often picked on for his dark red hair and accent, Vladimir didn't make friends and often wandered the streets as a child to scavenge for things to help his family. It was while on one of these excursions that he heard a street performer playing the violin and he instantly fell in love with the music. His parents noticed that he frequently went to go hear the performer play and, on his seventh birthday, they got him a battered and used violin for a present. He threw himself into learning how to play by ear and, after a time, was competent enough to perform on the street himself. The extra money that he earned was certainly appreciated by his parents, and he continued to play even up into his teen years with that same violin even after his parents passed. Vladimir has a job in a cafe as a waiter, but sometimes gets to perform for private parties and still likes to do public performances just to share his music with others.
