Eliza Genevieve Mckenna. Born October, New York. Eliza is the only daughter of her drunk parents. Taken into foster care at an early age as a baby, she found a caring mother who took her in and raised her to be the best person. Isabell May Mckenna was a young woman who worked three jobs at night to take care of herself and her baby girl. She was born into the middle class and found herself unable to have her own child so she adopted a young baby. The less drama the better, babies usually didn’t remember who their previous parents are, and if Eliza didn’t find out... Perfect. She wasn’t a bad mother, but a little wrong but never horrible. At age one, Isabell brought her baby into her small apartment. She spent years trying to build a better life for her eventually settling into a better house for herself and owning a pub not far off. When Eliza turned thirteen her happy-go-lucky attitude rubbed off on everyone she knew, much to the amusement of the adoptive mother. Young Eliza had a habit of getting back up no matter the fall. She had this natural gift to guide people to her and make friends with them. Well, that was what the teacher said in school anyway.
Everything went well for them. In fact the pub was pulling in money they needed. Until she became a teenager, and as everyone knows teenagers are especially temperamental. Eliza started to realize she wasn’t like her mother at all and began questioning her about the differences. Isabella noticed the early stages of depression and watched her daughter panic at the smallest things over the years. When she finally turned seventeen eventually she had to let her adoptive daughter know the truth. Both of them sat down and talked over everything and whatever Isabell knew about her mother. It wasn’t much, and even though Eliza should be angry with her she felt more relieved to know about her mother and how she didn’t have to deal with her. Imagine what would have happened? It was clear her mother didn’t care about her at all. At this point, she was ready to finish high school and live her own life.
Eliza grew into the Anti-Social butterfly over time. She didn’t just notice, other children noticed how different she was too and besides. Being the loner she was who liked leather, bikes - And rock music. - her gift for guiding people to her seemed to work badly and good. The others like herself enjoyed her company but others found her annoying. She planned on going to college in Scotland for some reason. Something about her wanting to learn about another place, so when a week passed after finishing school she left and spent time in Scotland. At that time she also made a visit to an old house. It was empty, but her mother didn’t live that far away from her mother. In the two years she spent studying, she came back but took a detour before checking her mother’s house.
She found a diary about her mother’s life, only to find out her mother was some type of hunter who... Hunted the supernatural? What kind of job was that? She didn’t understand but she did take whatever was leftover back with herself. Finding her mother at home two days later, only to find out her mother was sick and bedridden. Isabella asked her daughter to take over the pub-like she planned. Now that Eliza had the experience from working and studying in college, how can you say no to someone on there deathbed?
Her mother passed away in the night and gave the house to her to do as she pleased. Another two years made Eliza a hunter meeting place and safe housing with the pub she had now. Her mother’s diary detailing in everything she did. For once she couldn’t blame someone for drinking after everything she went through... Hunters came from around the world for guns, supplies and drink - Sometimes a place to hide or to stay. Eliza accepted everyone unless they caused trouble.
