Please note: This character was originally from Monster High, I have simply gender-bent the character, tweaked some of the lore and backstory, and made other adjustments where needed.
Kiera Valentine was born in Transylvania. Her mother, also a vampire, was unwed, and her father left not long after her birth. Kiera inherited the title of being a vampire, a rare type her mother also was known as an emotional vampire. Kiera has the ability to make people fall in love with her, and growing up her mother taught her to use this power to manipulate others, as her mother did. (Her mother was known for making wealthy men fall under her spell, marry them, only to have them mysteriously die, and for her to inherit the wealth). Kiera did do this for one reason; Kiera is a lesbian. She has always been told that it was a sin, and she believed if she made enough men fall in love with her and date them, it would “fix” her. When it inevitably didn’t work, she’d dump them, leaving the men heartbroken, which only made her abilities stronger.
All that changed when she met Draculaurance, the adopted (and vegetarian) son of Dracula. He had the purest heart she’d ever seen, and she didn’t even need to use her powers to make him fall in love with her. Just as his love for her was reaching its max, when she hoped she would change, a misunderstanding with the locals happened, and Draculaurance and his father her forced to flee to the New World. Kiera spent years trying to find him again and eventually found him at Monster High in New Salem. There, she used his powers to make him fall in love with her, as Draculaurance was dating Clawdina Wolf (a werewolf) at the time. Once again, his love for her almost reached its maximum, but the spell was broken, and Kiera splashed with the water from a lake, a lake which makes whoever touch it reek of body odor for a time and unintentionally made her powers weaker than they’d ever been.
Humiliated, she fled back to her mother, where she stayed in the garage as her mother wanted to “avoid” the smell. She eventually met a kind old lady who let her work at her vet, where Kiera finally began to understand the real meaning of love. Once she realized this, her powers returned, and the smell left. She returned to Monster High to redeem herself, though she sticks mostly to the shadows to avoid ridicule. It was at this point she met Spellda Cauldronello, daughter of Circe. The two became friends and eventually started dating, which sort of settled things between Kiera and Draculaurance and his friends.
Note: Kiera is 1601 years old, so she can fit just about anywhere. Sunlight or any popular means of killing a vampire does not work on her. She is allergic to sunlight, but everything else that is widely accepted as a vampire killer does not work on her.
