Spade's story, like most clones began shortly after the Battle of Geonosis. A clone trooper in service to the 501st Legion. As tensions rose in the galaxy with turmoil and unrest within the senate, a Clone Army had been raised in secret. Their mission was to aid the Jedi Knights whom were overwhelmed with millions of Battledroids backing wealthy separatist factions, thus plunging the entire galaxy into one of the most brutal conflicts in history. The Clone War.
CT-1419 began his life along with millions of his brothers on Kamino training for a war that would soon consume the entire Galaxy. He was young, headstrong, and eager to serve his purpose. His first mission was an extraction near Rhen Var where a small militia of Republic soldiers had been overrun by a large CIS incursion. He was ordered to drop from an LAAT with a fresh, new platoon, take out any droids along the way, and secure a site for the other gunships to pull the overwhelmed troops out of harms way. 1419's quick thinking managed to help see the mission's end with relative ease. Using a mix of barricades, leftover mining explosives, and vantage points, the clone and his platoon managed to bottleneck the swarms of droids in an attempt to pluck them off in thin waves until their ammo ran dry. Luck was on his side as their munitions emptied, LAATs pulled in from a nearby base.
As battles raged, CT-1419 would continue to serve up to the introduction of Phase II armor. Interestingly enough, this clone, despite serving in the 501st, never met General Skywalker in person. As he was always posted on missions far from the general's reach. From extractions, to serving on flanking sides he would never truly interact with Anakin.
The clone would eventually gain his callsign while playing a local card game with his superior officers. A lucky hand in where the spade symbol was crucial in securing a victory. And 1419 was the one to land it. With luck being on his side, everyone agreed to continue calling him Spade for the remainder of his life.
The clone would meet an unfortunate end before Order 66 was initiated. During a tense firefight with the Venator Brassbound, Spade would help in her evacuation. the ship had been ambushed by a new, ambitious captain, whom quickly overwhelmed the Brassbound in a trap. To keep the ship occupied, Spade along with the captain stayed behind to help guide the turrets to provide a distraction for ships and escape pods to jettison. The ship later vanished in a massive explosion, presuming Spade to perish with it.
Several centuries past Yavin, the Republic had reestablished her roots back into the Galaxy, but had been facing new threats from new powers across the galaxy. Once more the Republic was in a tight bind, and voted for a new army to be raised. IN a risky move, the Clone Army was rebuilt under the careful watch of the Senate to ensure another coup would not be established. The Fett Genome had been discovered untouched and frozen in the event of an emergency. Two Clone legions were created and with it, Spade's memory had been recovered and reintegrated into a new body. The only difference was the absence of an inhibitor chip and was no longer susceptible to Protocol 66.
This Reborn Spade, renumbered under X-1419, would continue to serve the Republic from its base on Polis Masa, to Bakura where he would serve in a new war with a growing threat. The Revenant Armada. A vile faction of dark side wielders intent on ransacking and razing worlds, as well as conquering their way to Coruscant. Spade fought in tense battles to aide in freeing Coruscant from this faction and her allies, and helped push them back further into the unknown regions.
After four years of fighting, the war was brought to a ceasefire, and Spade retired to live a life of a mercenary while attempting to discover the whereabouts of former allies, and to ensure an age-old enemy known simply as an ally to the aforementioned Armada - had truly been defeated. Though, he would soon return to serve the Clone Army after their predicted return.
