About me: Ollie is an art forger and black market dealer. He was born into a rich family from Scotland, would have inherited it all. But at the age of 16, he got a girl pregnant and his father forced the girl to have an abortion. The girl wanted nothing to do with him after that, and his father didn't seem to understand how wrong what he had done was. At this point Ollie left home, wanting to be away from such an influence. He ended up in London.
He was a talented artist, as well as charming and naturally able to get on well with people. He started by making caricatures of tourists, but then began forging other artist's paintings and art to make more money. He was noticed by a US dealer, who arranged for his fakes to be sold on the black market.
Ollie now periodically acts as an auctioneer on this market sales, as well as a manager at the bar that acts as it's cover. He makes art in his studio in his spare time.
Blue hues fell on the old drunk man further down the bar, a small laugh slipping from her lips. "We all have something to forget, maybe he's got a lot more than most of us" she spoke softly. Slender fingertips wrapping around the glass placed on the bar top by Ollie. Lifting it to her lips she knocked it back in one, a small wince slipped her lips as the liquid in the glass gave a burn on the way down. Placing the empty glass on the bar she flashed a smile at Ollie. "Oh it's the only way they get me in the damn door, just a good job they don't test us" she laughed.ย
Stepping back a little from the bar she smiled at Ollie. "Wish me luck" she spoke. "Your ass better be here when I get back!" she teased. Not waiting for a reply she left quickly. Being an ex cop, she should of known better, sh*t she should of known she was being followed, being watched. But she wasn't her usual self, drink and drugs both helped numb a lot of her senses.ย
Heading to Ollie's studio didn't take long, he had chose somewhere close to the bar at least. Eyes scanning the area as she slipped a lock pick kit from her bag, Before she even had chance to get it near the lock she was grabbed from behind. Hand over her mouth muffling her screams of panic, the males strength to much to fight off. The flashes in her head from that night, the worst night of her life, Damon beating and raping her they spun in her mind, haunting her and convincing her thats what this was again.ย
Everything went black..ย
Lacey's eyes flickered open, she could hear male voices arguing talking about her. Giving herself to come round it was clear they had injected her with something. Trying to reach for the sore patch on her neck she found out she was cuffed to a radiator. Sighing she looked around trying to figure out where the hell she was. But all she knew was these guys were getting someone else brought here.ย
This had to do with Ollie, it was all she had been snopping around in, his black market dealings. How had such a nice guy got in to this crap. Guys that clearly didn't mind kidnapping a woman to get what they wanted. Ollie had seen there faces, and they had their backs to her but she knew they hadn't bothered to hide from her either, that only ever ment one thing. These guys didn't give a sh*t about killing people who knew to much.ย
Danger Art. Life hadn't been great for Lacey Ava Rowland for a while now, it had all been a big dangerous world of taking down bad guys, living the life of a lie, being other people to get close to get the take down she needed. It was the undercover life, it blurred the lines between reality and fake, it was a hard job and every mission took a while to come back from, to remember who you were, not who you had to be. Not her last mission, Oh no that mission had been hell, busted as a cop, raped and nearly killed. And to make things worse she had suvived the trauma to be let go from the team she worked with. Told she was unstable, she of course she was after what happened to her. And they didn't even know about her new drug addiction thanks to Damon Rodriguez the male she had been sent in to take down, and the man that had taken everything from her.ย
Since being out of a job Lacey had taken to partying, drinking, drugs, dancing, it was about a good time and not staying sober enough to remember what had happened to her. For the past four weeks she had been spending a lot of time around Oliver O'Connell, suspected art forger. She had taken the males file from her office on the way out the day she had been given the boot. Maybe she had been given the boot, but that didn't mean she was going to just stop being a cop. She really should stop, drug addiction and partying along with cop work, not a good combo. It was asking for trouble.ย
The blonde smiled at Ollie as he moved across the bar to her and spoke "Oh you did, maybe you wanted me here" she flashed a flirty smirk. Nodding at his question about her usual drink. This had been her job, get close in any way she could. But this time it was different, she had no back up she was looking in to his choice of work alone. As he mentioned that he was tending bar all night she smiled and nodded. "I'll have to see what I can do about keeping you company then pretty boy" she spoke softly.ย
Her mind working in overdrive, she had an in. A decent amount of time to search and get the proof she needed. All she needed was an excuse to leave, she had spoken to him enough over these four weeks to know where his studio was. She wasn't even sure if he knew he had let it slip in coversation. It was crazy what just talking to someone could get out of them.ย
"One drink, then I have a meeting but if you play your cards right I may come back after" she spoke with a grin. The trick to making up an excuse, keep it simple, vague, even give it a touch of truth and change the subject off it straight after. Leaning against the bar she smiled. She had admitted to Ollie that she attended meetings for drugs, but he was told she had her addiction under control. A meeting wouldn't be odd at this time of night, it made sense and gave her time. But she had no idea his bosses were watching her, the way she had showed up and only had intrest in Ollie, they knew something wasn't right.ย
