Izzie Steven's life had changed drastically with in a few short months, She had been in Remission from her cancer for awhile now and her doctor's had said it was not likely it would re occur any time soon, That however had not been the biggest change, that had been the fact that she had Alex's children through insemination using his sperm, She adored Alex and Eli, She knew she always would, but she didn't think she would ever reconcile with their father, Boy had she been wrong; Alex Karev had waltz back in to her life and now at this current point in Time Izzie had moved back to Seattle.

Izzie had stood next to Owen as the EMT Spoke, It had been ions since she had seen Lexie, She like everyone else had assumed she died in the crash, She had no idea that she had survived somehow. The crash had rocked everyone's world, It was difficult for anyone to fathom but for her it hit home, in more ways then one.
She looked at Hunt and nodded "I Buzzed Grey but she is working in Trauma two right now, I can stand in until she gets here" She stated, This odd sense of reuniting was definitely strange, Not only had she returned with Alex's young twins but suddenly Lexie was back as well, all be it worse for the wear.
Izzie turned around when Meredith had walked in to the room, She knew this had to be difficult for her, Lexie had of course been family. She wasn't attempting to be pushy or to replace her, simply just wanting to be a friend "Mere Do you want me to handle this? I know this has to be difficult for you" She offered.
Izzie had been one of the doctors who had been in there when Lexie had woken up, She stood next to Alex, trying to be professional She knew most people were not pleased with her return or the fact that she was with Alex but she could always count on Mere to be there, That had been why she was there for her and Lex now. She looked at Lexie and shook her head "You mean you don't remember her?" She asked "You don't remember anything?… You were in a plane crash.. You, Alex, Mere.." She tried to fill in the blanks as best as she could, but somehow she could tell that Lexie Grey had been suffering from Amnesia and could not remember any of them.
