Pothos|Greek: Πόθος "yearning"

Pothos, like his brother Himeros, was initially unsure about descending to Earth and leaving their home on Olympus. However, after the spectacle that Ares made of Eros' descent, the decision was made all the more quickly.
The two left to find Eros, to ensure their brother's safety now that he was more vulnerable, however they were separated on the descent. While Himeros landed intact and able to search, Pothos did not.
Fortunately they both had the foresight to arrange with Zeus what kind of lifestyle they would become accustomed to while on Earth. Pothos had specifically asked to be a famous actor, wanting to use his gifts in theatre and on-screen; creating longing in his fans. Rhys Jameson was adored by a large following who supported any and all works that came out; even though he was essentially an unknown until a few years ago.
Struggling with amnesia due to the fall, Pothos was found by Eros after he discovered that Pothos was missing. Eros took Pothos from the hospital once he was cleared to do so, taking care of him and ensuring that his memories become intact over time, even going so far as to make sure that their names matched to avoid any doubt that they were brothers.
Pothos' main priority is trying to remember who Nyx is to him, along with their mother and siblings, in a timescale that won't cause any unnecessary damage or upset.

The Mimicking Metahuman

My Characters name is Hope. Her close friends call her Hopie, and she is a metahuman that is a known singer and model. As a metahuman she has a peculiar type of ability that has its positives and negatives. Here's a little prologue to how she got her powers. At a very young age, Hope was diagnosed with a rare type of brain ailment, that was said to only have her living a few months after her birth. After hearing the news, her mother wanted to find a way to cure her against the wishes of her father. Her mother found a lab that was doing an experiment with genetic mutation that the scientist said should help cure her and her mother went ahead and signed for her to get this treatment. Of course, she had been cured but her mother played it off to her father as a miracle.

Hope's mother made sure to keep Hope from using her abilities, which was genetic mimicry. Meaning By touching anything organic she can take on any of the properties of it. This can manifest itself in physical changes if it is necessary for the ability to be mimicked, such as growing feathers and hollowing bones to fly like a bird, or simply physiological changes, such as being able to photosynthesize sunlight after touching a plant or enhanced physical senses of a predatory animal. She can mimic other meta-abilities but struggles with controlling them. She can, with concentration, gain a sense of what abilities she’d be mimicking by being near something. Which means that she could sense a metahuman’s ability by being near them. She left home when she was of age and went to university, graduating and then making a name for herself as singer/model/dancer. As a way to keep her powers under control she does use substances such as weed to tame it, but when she is not using, her hands are always covered when she comes in out in public or around others.
