1. The face or front of a building.
2. A showy misrepresentation intended to conceal something unpleasant.
To see through the facade of these most terrible things, you must first be willing to accept that nothing, and everything, is neither real nor fake. Your choice to continue forward is but a mere cause to the future effect. We have kept them concealed and hidden, much to our own pleasure and comfort.
But we are few and they are many. Our hands can only do so much before they begin to crack and bleed. The blood is drying, and our scabs are old; falling off with time into piles that remind us of our pain. A pain we can only endure for so long. Even we have our limits, just as you will see within yourselves.
Allow us to rest. In time, we will find it in ourselves to encase them away from the public once more. But, for now, we rest.
We rest, knowing this selfish act will cause death and suffering.
