"What? A couple months?" That news sent fear to dig right through him! As she talked he moved closer, his arms wrapped around her. "Whinn, I don't want you to go. What about Rick? Is he really willing to leave his kids? Evan and Eric.. Coraline?" He paused, "oh.. you'll take Coraline with you I suppose." Not getting that they'd take a lot more than the baby. He shook his head, "just stay.. please.. don't run off. Not like this." His hug tightened as he pulled her closer. "I miss you when you aren't around... I can't imagine never seeing you again! I don't want this, Sparkles..."
"Soon?" Ouch! That wasn't a word he wanted to hear. He watched her eyes leave him and his heart felt trampled. "How soon?" He didn't know that she and Rick were planning to take away the kids. "I don't want you to go, Sparkles. Couldn't you put this off? Stay longer?"
