About me: My name is Zoey Hazelton, and I am a Shifter, and a Club owner in Seattle, the club is called "The Aquarium". I'm older and stronger than I look,so even though I look sweet and innocent, DON'T underestimate me. My Mate/Boyfriend is Zeke Smith and he is a Mermaid and means everything to me.

Hearing the apologetic tone in Zoey's voice Zeke's tense demeanor startened to loosen up. What she just told him was the truth, and he dipped his head in response, as a sign of understanding. "My life on land is different from a life under the sea, and this is one of the reasons that I left." As a ruler it would be wrong to leave, so perhaps his sister could too.
Aware of her sudden presence, her sweet scent giving her away, Zeke leaned into her caress of his cheek. "Thanks, it means a lot for me to know you are supporting me", he mumbled, thinking that they haven't really talked about their future and what it was having in store for them. Their meeting had been a chance encounter, and not forseen.
it felt like a standoff, with them both standing a distance away from one another, their arms crossed. "It is not just that I know where to begin", Zeke said with a soft sigh, aware of the look on her face, and looked away. "I have a younger sister as well as brother, and the latter is probably the ruler after my father abdicated", he told her, looking back at her.
Crossing his arms Zeke leaned against the wall opposite Zoey. "Perhaps I wanted us to have a general conversation about our past and background, instead of just blurting it out!" The smile of hers didn't effect him and his gaze was adament as he was waiting to hear her response to this.
"There is something I want to ask"; Zeke told Zoey, looking over his shoulder at his girlfriend before retrieving the beers from the fridge, tossing her one and opened his. "I don't recall once that you asked me anything of my background and where I come from." With that said he took the first sip, curious what her answer was going to be.
