[[ Please note, I am an experienced writer and created this character in 2003, shortly after the first film was released. I used to role play on yahoo messenger back in the day and have recently returned to role playing and developed my character further. I enjoy writing with any HP character. I usually write with a Severus. My character knows so much about Snape and his complexities. Pending on timelines Dumbledore would be quite keen to “use” her for her rare abilities to either track the dark lord. I do enjoy post war too. I am open to a ship with discussion and I enjoy writing a variety of themes. I invented Hermionie Feather in 2003. She escaped her highly abusive muggle father at 17. Her witch Mother died when she was 9, she was always told she was bad or evil by her Dad for being a witch and was forced to live as a muggle, think as a muggle and after her Mother passed her abuse and punishments from her Father simply escalated. When she fled she spent the next 15 years in forests around Europe practicing her own skills. She’s never had formal training but she’s incredibly powerful. She’s able to remain invisible and undetected by practically anyone and transform into any sort of beast or creature. She’s also an empath so can sense and feel things from others. I tend to portray her during the golden trio era but I adapt her to post war too. In regards to golden trio era, Hermionie heard about Hogwarts and decided to see what it was like. After all, all of this Potter boy talk was circulating and she was curious. She managed to live in The Forbidden Forest for 6 months before Albus caught her. During the 6 months she’d often see Severus by the lake, collecting weeds and drinking whisky on his own. She was fascinated with him for some reason, unsure why. She would often watch him in an animal form so he had no idea. She felt a sense of grief and sadness and anger in his energy and she related to those herself and for some reason found some solace in his “company” - she also never really had a home after her Mother died so would watch the children eat in The Great Hall, it was cathartic. . When she was caught she was offered a job at Hogwarts but only allowed to teach students Albus chooses due to the nature and danger of her work. She finds crowds of people rather overwhelming due to her abilities as an Empath. It can actually make her feel rather sick so she tends to stick to spending time with wild beasts & Hagrid, sometimes working alongside professors in DADA to assist with her own expertise. Since being at Hogwarts, she feels like she has a home, a family, a place to call home. After all the years of being alone and living in the wild, it feels comforting to belong somewhere again. Post War she’s opened up a shop in diagon, offering services to other empaths and creates tonics of her own for rejuvenation and healing and many seek her help to get rid of their own pain. It can be taxing. During the war before Albus died, she was often asked to assist in finding out information about upcoming events and such in regards to The Dark Lord. I’ve spent many years on creating her and in the past I have shipped mainly with just Snape’s, though I don’t do several ships at the same time as I find that bloody confusing if you ask me!
I enjoy writing with Lucius, Remus, Sirius and creating some interesting wild stories with those characters too, especially Lucius in the ministry.
