Loud and bubbly Harley almost always makes it her mission to be the most annoying presence in her comrade's existence. Sometimes t occurs in ways she doesn't expect but takes in all in her stride. behind every action is a good intention, although mistakes do happen. From falling for the wrong male, to falling for another female, to trying to ditch the lovesickness in Gotham and attempt to make a name for herself. Standing out from a crowd is something she knows well as she battles her own demons, hidden by laughter and a bright smile. A lot of actions she takes only make sense to her but there's always a reason behind them, however tenuous. Just don't go destroying anything she cares about or else there will be consequences. The consequences may not make sense to anyone else, but they make perfect sense to her.

There is an array of weapons in her arsenal, which are somewhat dependant on her companions. From a pop-cork gun used to take out Arkham guards, to a wooden mallet to smash the head of the Batman and anyone else who got in her way trying to fulfill the wants and needs of the Joker. On a few occasions she's upgraded her mallet, to a metal sledgehammer and under the watchful eye of the Suicide Squad has also dabbled in pistols, rifles and rockets. Although necessary at times, Harley prefers the use of something more personal and more often than not now can be found with a baseball bat with a paintjob that changes with her wardrobe.
From Batman the Animated Series to her own show, comics and beyond, Harley Quinn is a Quinn-tessential character to the DC Universes. Her characterisation has changed several times over the years as she currently toes the lines between the heroes and villains. From her connections, to her moral standpoints, Harley has been a sounding board for many of the characters who reside in Gotham City whilst also taking time away in Coney Island to find things out for herself.

ARKHAMVERSE
Covering Arkham Origins to Arkham Knight, this world focuses on the timeline of events from the Arkhamverse video games and tie-in comics from Dr Harleen Quinzel meeting the Joker to dealing with his death and progress onwards from that. The related animated movie, Batman: Assault on Arkham has been separated and added to the DC Animated Movie Universe (DCAMU) as a prequel due to the moves away from the Arkhamverse canon and the similarities in animation to Suicide Squad: Hell to Pay (2018).
