// Hmm, do you require aid or counsel? My door is always open if you have wish to use it but I am alright mostly missing my friends and allies who I work with and as I saw your work inspires me so.
ย ย ย ย The mortals continued to test the thunder god as he took a moment to close his eyes as he searched the facility with his newly aquired power cosmic. It was a different sort of ability than he normally liked but with time came practice growing into these gifts. He roamed its halls but in areas too densly packed with exotic energies he could not see past yet. When he heard a familiar voice call out to him it broke his concentration to look up to see "Connor." A crackle of thunder rumbled in the darkneing skies and the hammer burst with electricity.
Cadmus had called on the boy to stop him, they thought wrong gripping his hammer tigher thinking of how quick the lad was and how much quicker the lighting could be if he used it. He thought about paralzying him with a simple swing of the hammer to his back. Thor closed his eyes as he grumbled to slam the hammer down on the ground suddenly, engulfed in lighting. When it had subsized he was himself again having depowered from his herald state which at times felt like a darker aspect of his nature were taking hold. It had been something he was concerned over and had spoken to Norrin Radd about in their long visits.
Galactus had done something to his herald once to suppress the better aspects of his nature to make him a better herald, the thought had crossed his mind perhaps he did the same to him. Thor had thought he took the power cosmic but perhaps the eater of worlds had done more than previously expected he stood up his eyes glanced to his friend. "Aye but tis not alien talk my friend tis the way of the gods. Ways I remind you as I do them that have existed since your species was but hairy apes trapsing across Midgard. If thou wish to speak then come lad let us speak but I will not be barred from my duty here."
Thor walked ten paces from where he was to touch the ground and with concentration the ground quaked as earth gave way to rock formations in the shape of chairs. He leaned up to take a seat in one as he let the hammer drop on the ground with a metal thud. It was not his wish to combat the noble son of a family whom he had the honor of fighting beside. The kents were noble people and Superman was without doubt a noble man if not a deity. When he gestured to the other chair he hoped the young lad would join him in speaking.
There was no reason to think he could not get what he wanted without a fight and in truth he desired none, but he had come for answers. He could sense something was wrong with Mjolnir...with Asgard, with himself, ever since the black winter had given him a vision. What he saw put ice in his veins over the terrible end he saw not just for himself but the universe. Each new day brought another piece of a tapestry he desperately tried to solve before it was too late. Thor knew in the race to stop a threat sacrifices had to be made for the greater good, but he vowed to pay those prices himself, no other realm would pay for his sins.
What he had done in service to Galactus troubled his soul still and he could not find the right words, actions, tributes which would ever suffice for those lost. He wondered how many could have been spared had the star spawned bastard told him the truth. It made him briefly pause to clasp a hand over his temple in frustration as he rubbed his hues softly. Thor's rule of the realm eternal had gone less than well but he remained hopeful that it might change.Today was a day that he had hoped might be the first of those to change and make things right. ย
Harley read the text two... three... maybe four times, unsure if she truly was reading it properly. "Uhhhhhhhh....." hitting send, she frowned before typing again. "I don't have a kid baby supes." Once more she hit entered, before sighing and standing up. Well obviously she couldn't have a random out there claiming to be her daughter and causing mayhem. Though, if anyone actually believed a 26 year old had a grown kid, that seemed like their own misjudgement and problem. "I'll be there in 20."ย
