From The Darkness True Light Can Emerge. Cadrogo Ohanzee was a hard-working man and devoted husband who gave everything he had to his wife and her happiness no matter what he had to do. His job was not very well-paying and the hours were long, but Cadrogo was not a man that gave up easily. He was a fighter through and through and also far to stubborn at times according to some people. He was a loader down at the docks in the city he and his wife lived in and always came home late at night, often coming home to a half-drunk spouse who had grown sick of waiting on him to walk through the door. She would often fuss at him and make him feel terrible for not being able to see and spend more time with her, which eventually led to her visiting the local bar quite often and picking up random men to sleep with. Then one night Cadrogo came home to find her passed out cold in the middle of the living room floor, two empty bottles of liquor and pills laying next to her. He immediately ran over to her and crouched down, seeing that there was also a small written note laying right next to her head, slowly picking it up and reading it with shaking hands. It was a suicide note telling him everything she had done, all the times she had cheated on him and beyond, apologizing for it all and saying that she simply could not live with herself anymore, telling him that she had gone to join Death in it's eternal embrace. Cadrogo dropped the note and slowly picked up her lifeless body in his arms, tears streaming down his face as his entire body shook all over, his own heart slowly breaking apart and dying as he sat there with her in his arms. Cadrogo loved her so greatly that knowing he would have to live without her was just to much for his heart to bear and as a result it stopped altogether a few minutes later.
His head then lowered a moment or so later, the life leaving his body a few seconds later, the body slumping to the ground as his soul itself shot straight to the Realm of Darkness, which was Death's own personal domain. King Draven NightShade, as he was also known by when it came to his family, had been watching this certain human very closely now for some time and had taken a special educated interest in him.
Draven had been searching for a certain kind of soul to use in a new experiment he had been working on now for quite some time, a both pure and dark enough one to be able to handle having two very special and powerful kinds of essences spliced together to create one unique form. This being would be half Arch-Angel and the first ever demon Asmodeus, who was created by Lucifer himself. He was also the most powerful and undiluted one for that matter and had even been hailed as the King Of Demons for some time. But that power got to the demon's head and he tried to take over Hell itself, which resulted in Draven taking him and turning him into one of his experiments. Putting these two together would create a very special and powerful creation, and thus as a result, Cadrogo Ohanzee was reborn, though Draven was sure to remove all memories of his previous life from his mind.
As a result of his new form, Cadrogo had all the knowledge and skill of a true warrior archangel as well as the speed, strength, and durability of both immortal species. But even all of this was only the very tip of the iceberg as the powers he would now possess would be nothing short of amazing, and Draven was very curious to see what all his new creation could do.
But what was by far one of the most interesting things about Cadrogo was the very strong and constant pull he had towards Heaven, towards the light itself, Draven deciding to send him back out to the world of mortals to see just how he would fare.
Draven's orders to Cadrogo were quite simple, to exist and live as a human in whatever career he wished to have, giving him his own mansion to reside in as well. He also told Cadrogo to "Follow the voice", not saying anything else about it other then that he would understand once he found it, a wide smile on Death's face as he sent Cadrogo back to Earth. He had never seen himself as someone who cared much at all about others but in this certain case Draven had a very special interest in his creation's well-being...........
