“Uhh since I got here” Zed laughed. “Okay go,go,go” he ushered her to get her bags as he stood patiently waiting a little nervous he bit at the skin around his nails. When he saw her come back he grinned grabbing her hand bringing it to his lips as he pressed his lips against the back of her hand he smiled. “I’m not going to let anything happen to you Ryder. This is a fresh start for both of us okay” he nodded at her for reassurance this would work. As he unlocked the door he grabbed her bag in one hand and kept hold of hers with the other. Walking out to the car. “Took you f***ing long enough” Hardin spoke in his harsh tone. “We had a lot to talk about actually d*ck pop open the boot” Zed spoke harshly back as he grabbed the bottom of the boot putting it open as he chucked Ryders bags in next to his climbing into the back seat as he let Ryder ride shot gun. Hardin started driving to the airport. “When you guys get to the airport in London my mother will be waiting to pick you up and take you to your aunts Zed. She’s arranged for a car to be dropped off for you so you can get about” Hardin spoke looking in the rear view mirror at Zed who was now trying to mask how nervous he was. “Amazing thank you Hardin for everything” Zed spoke softly to his friend.
Zed looked at her and laughed. “Hardin chose it.” He laughed. “Yeah he helped.” Zed and Hardin never really saw eye to eye until he broke it off with Ryder then they sort of became almost best friends. He helped him get everything from flights to passports to the uk he wasn’t exactly a stranger to travelling to and from the uk. “Okay us against the world. Grab your things Hardin’s waiting in the car” Zed peered out of the window to a pissed off Harding tapping his watch at him from the car window
Zed looked Ryder dead in the eyes. “I promise I wouldn’t do anything I thought would put any of us in danger.” Zed sighed. “I want to prove to you that you can trust me. They won’t find us not with these anyway” Zed thought about the tracking luckily enough he had dabbled in some sh*t in the past too and knew someone who could get them fakes. Pulling out two passports by the names of James Darling and Marie Patrova he handed her them. “If you want out. Now is the time to do it and I’ll help you do it” Zed locked his fingers with hers. “Think about it before you make any decisions but it would mean your off the map for them and they will definitely think your dead if you disappear to the other side of the country” he spoke softly
Tracing his fingers across the bullet holes as she spoke made him choke up. He couldn't believe that she'd gone through all of that on her own. "Well, you are you, you manage to piss anyone off" He laughed as he pulled her closer to him and held her tightly in his arms. "Don't be sorry. I'm here now, and i don't plan on leaving your side at all." Zed looked at her as he thought of a way for them to run without being detected. "Okay, Here's the plan. We get Hardin to pick us up take all of our bags to the airport and we fly to London, we can stay with my Aunt out there until we figure something out? Least then we can be a million miles away and they won't find us if we're off the radar." Zed spoke pulling away from her but still holding onto her shoulders. "I think it's the only thing we can do right now without being caught by these thugs," Zed spoke in a calm voice trying his best to reassure her that it was all going to be okay.
Hearing Ryder explain what happened to her made a rage form in the pit of Zeds stomach. “Ryder I’m so sorry this has happened to you” Zed spoke softly it was the only thing he could say what could you say when the girl you’ve had feelings for, for so long has been through something so horrific. “What did you do to piss these guys off?” He asked curiously before walking back to her and putting his hand on her arm “Ryder. You are and always have been my family. I’m not letting you do this alone” he spoke sternly but reassuringly to make sure she knew he was in it for the long haul he wasn’t going to leave her to run alone.
Zed saw Ryder open the door with a gun in her hand a little shook from the sight he grabbed her pulling her close to him he was just so glad she was alright hugging her tightly he sighed. “God I’m just so glad your okay. Hardin told me where to find you. I never stopped looking when you disappeared I figured something bad had happened to you and I couldn’t live with myself if anything did. So I said to myself if I ever found you again I’d tell you this.” He pulled back from her for a slight second keeping tight hold on her shoulders as he looked into her eyes “Ryder I’ve been in love with you for what feels like centuries. Finding out you where here I made the decision to stay with you and run with you. I’m not letting you go again even if you want me too your stuck with me now.” Letting go of her he brought his bag in and kicked the door shut pulling the bolt across to keep it locked.
Zed and Ryder had a strange relationship. She was into Hardin and Zed was into her. When she disappeared it broke Zed's heart. He did nothing but try his damn hardest to find her. Just when he was about to give up Hardin came to him and told him where she was staying. A flustered Zed grabbed everything in his reach that he thought he'd need as once he found her he wasn't planning on letting her go again. Getting into his car he drove all the way to where she was staying.
Taking a deep breath he sighed getting out of his car he ran his fingers through his ash blonde hair, He walked up to the door and rang the doorbell. Standing back he stood waiting for the door to open not knowing what the hell he'd say when he saw her beautiful face.
