Drabble # 2 - Thatcher Grey Leaves.

DRABBLE #2 – THATCHER GREY LEAVES.
“Where is mommy?” the little blonde girl asked her father. Thatcher Grey was the only one who was home with Meredith Grey, the only one who took care of her when her mother, Ellis Grey was at the hospital saving patients. Noticing her mother was never home, Meredith missed her mother. The only time when Meredith actually got to spend time with her mother was when she visits her at the hospital, but even then she wasn’t spending much time with her. Ellis Grey maybe only spent one whole second to spend with Meredith but then she went back to work to save lives. Lives that didn’t even meant to Ellis Grey, people who Ellis never knew. Meredith didn’t quite understand how her mother’s work was more important than her and even Thatcher. How Ellis never spent time home and always spending it at the hospital. It felt like to the young girl, even on Ellis’s days off, she still spent it at the hospital and not at home with her. There was maybe the odd time when Ellis actually spent time with Meredith, but at the same time, Meredith wasn’t even sure if she was even there. The time when they went to the carousel to ride on it, Ellis wasn’t watching Meredith ride it, she was trying to have a conversation with a man who wasn’t Thatcher Grey. A man who wasn’t Ellis’s husband. Ellis was yelling for Richard Webbers name, a man who she was having affair with. Although, Meredith haven’t known at that point. She had always thought her parents were just going through some marriage problems because of Ellis spending so much time at hospital, not because over an affair.

Holding her Anatomy Jane Doll in her arms, Meredith knew she wanted to be a doctor when she grew up. It wasn’t because of her mother, because of her mother being a general surgeon. It was mostly because with the Anatomy Jane doll, she grew into liking how she was able to take all the organs and the rest of the insides out of the doll, only to replace them. Her father didn’t know much about the anatomy, but when she was around her mother, if she got the answer wrong on what the organ was, her mother always corrected her. Or even when she wasn’t with her mother but still at the hospital because her father wasn’t around, she spent time with a nurse or another doctor. They always seemed to correct her as well, trying to get her anatomy right. “Your mother is at work,” Thatcher Grey told his five year old daughter before he continued to speak. “I am going to take you to the hospital to see her. I have some errands to do.” The little girl looked at her father, wondering why he just couldn’t take her with him. Could it be a surprise to why he wouldn’t take her along with him? He could build her a tree house or even something for Ellis to get their marriage back on track, which he probably didn’t want Meredith to know because she could be telling Ellis what her father has been planning for her mother. “No, that isn’t why.” Meredith told herself in thought. There was no way, Thatcher would do anything like that just out of the blue, but it did make the young girl curious to why he was dropping her off at the hospital. She felt like she needed to ask questions, but she had this feeling her father would just ignore her questions and to tell her that they had to go. “Go get ready. We’re leaving in five minutes.” Thatcher said to Meredith as he walked off to go upstairs to his bedroom.

Running out of the living room, Meredith ran upstairs to her bedroom, grabbed her backpack and placed some coloring books, crayons and other activities for her to do while her mother is working and her father is gone doing god knows what. Placing her backpack on her back, grabbing a hold of her anatomy doll, she ran back downstairs to the front door where her father was, waiting for her to come back so they could go. Meredith placed her anatomy Jane doll down so she could put her shoes on and picked up her doll. “I’m ready!” the little girl said to her father as she ran outside of the house, to the car, opening up one of the back doors to the car and went inside. Sitting in the back seat, Meredith took off her backpack, and buckled herself in. Thatcher locked up the house, went to the car and buckled himself in after he got into the car, making sure Meredith was all buckled in. Looking outside, it was a cloudy day. Looked like it was about to rain as it has for the past four days, raining nonstop. Meredith was a bit happy that the rain had finally stopped, now all she wished for is that the sun would come out, dry up all the puddles so she could play outside. She hasn’t been able to play outside for days, and she hoped the sun would come out, even though her father was driving her to her mother so she could be still be watched, she could probably play outside if someone let her. Maybe a nurse, or even those day care people who works at the hospital who most of the time watches Meredith when Ellis can’t get her interns or anyone else to watch Meredith for her.

Sitting in the back seat of her father’s car, she had her anatomy Jane doll, Meredith held it pretty close to her, fitting all the pieces back into the dolls abdomen. If a piece fell, it would fall into her lap and it would be easier than having it all over the car, where she could lose a piece. That doll to Meredith wasn’t just a doll, it was a doll for her to learn how to be a doctor. And in the future, she did plan to use that doll to learn more about her cases, rather than to play with it. Looking up outside, she could see they were still driving. The hospital was pretty close to where they were at currently because she could see the hospital right before her, which means, she gets to see her mother soon, if she wasn’t in surgery. God, Meredith had hoped she wasn’t because she missed her. Meredith despitely needed some mother and daughter time and if she was in surgery, there was no way Meredith was going to have some mother and daughter time. Although, she had already sensed that her mother wasn’t going to spend time with her, even if she wasn’t in surgery. She had a feeling Ellis was going to lend her off to someone else for them to watch her until she got off work or even until her father came back doing whatever he needed to do. Then again, Ellis could change. Maybe today she had nothing to do and did want to spend time with the young girl, even though Meredith expected differently. She could have decided to change her mind to spend time with Meredith, which would be surprising to her along with everyone else. Ellis didn’t want anyone to think she was weak, especially when it came to her daughter. Ellis did love her daughter even though Meredith was a child that Ellis never wanted, she still loved her. But for some reason, Ellis found surgery being more important than her own daughter, and even to fight for her marriage which wasn’t what she was doing at all. She didn’t even fight for Thatcher, only because she was having a secret affair.

Arriving to Seattle Grace Hospital, both Thatcher and little Meredith got out of the car once they parked. The little blonde girl grabbed her bag and her anatomy doll. She and Thatcher walked through the front entrance to the hospital and went to the floor where they always seem to find Ellis hiding out when she wasn’t in surgery. Thankfully when they went to the floor, they managed to find Ellis with another man, talking by the nurses station. The other man was Richard Webber. When Meredith found her mother, she started to run to her, interrupting the conversation Richard and Ellis were having. “MOMMY!” Meredith yelled as she wrapped her arms around Ellis’s body when she reached to her. “Meredith?” Ellis asked as she looked at her then up at Thatcher. “Thatcher, what’s going on? Why is she here?” the famous surgeon asked her husband, wondering why he and Meredith was there. “I have some errands to do and I can’t take her with me. I had to drop her off.” Thatcher told Ellis as Meredith stood there watching the two grownups having a conversation about Thatcher dropping Meredith off at the hospital. The hospital wasn’t ideal for the young girl to be baby sat at the hospital, but they didn’t have a babysitter and Thatcher was the one who were always home with her. “Thatch, I’m working. You can’t just drop her off here for me to watch her.” Ellis told Thatcher. “I know, but I have no other choice!” Thatcher told Ellis as he leaned down to Meredith. “I have to go. Be good to your mother,” her father gave her a kiss on her forehead and got back up to his feet. Looking over at Richard, he turned around and left, leaving Meredith behind with her mother, not knowing that he was leaving them for good. Only because Thatcher knew Ellis was sleeping with Richard Webber and that he tried to fight for their marriage, but couldn’t fight any longer. Richard Webber and won Ellis Grey and he decided to leave them without saying anything. The two of them didn’t find out about Thatcher being gone until that night, where he grabbed all of his stuff and were no longer in the house. He had moved out and left Ellis to take care of Meredith.

Drabble # 1 - Alzhimers Is Terrible.

Drabble # 1 - Alzhimers Is Terrible.

The sound of Meredith’s phone had rung. It was an unknown caller. Normally, answering unknown numbers wasn’t Meredith Grey’s thing to do, but for some reason, down in Meredith’s gut, she could feel something was going on. Could it be her mother who possibly gotten a new phone? No, it couldn’t be. Ellis Grey, the Seattle Grace famous and best surgeon couldn’t even spend a second out of her time of the day to pick up her phone to call her own daughter to see what is going on with her. All Ellis Grey could possibly care about was cutting people open. Meredith wasn’t sure why that was, even if Meredith was in medical school. Honestly, Meredith didn’t. All Meredith cut into at the moment was animals. She just had graduated from medical school and now all she had to do was get accepted at one of the hospitals she applied to so she could feel what her mother feels. Cutting into people. How great is that anyway? Slicing someone open and seeing all the blood? Cutting into animals wasn’t too thrilling so what makes cutting into people makes it any more different? She could always pick up the phone and ask Ellis about it, but if she did, Ellis would just push her away because apparently she didn’t have time for her own daughter. There were much more other things important than Meredith Grey. More important things such as lives in stake. People dying. When Meredith was a kid, all she wanted was her mother’s attention, but now? Not anymore. Especially since right before when she left for Medical school, Ellis and Meredith had a huge fight over something that probably wasn’t memorable anymore.

Picking up the phone, there was a voice on the other end. A voice that introduced herself to be working at Roseridge Home for Extended Care. “Why would they be calling?” Meredith thought to herself. That was until she heard that Ellis Grey, her mother has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and they wanted Meredith to come back to Seattle to care for her mother. To make all of Ellis’s medical decisions for her. Honestly, Meredith wasn’t sure what she was going to do now. She wanted to help her mother because well, Ellis Grey was Meredith’s mother, but with everything that had happened between them, with their relationship not being the way how Meredith would has wished it was, she wasn’t sure if she wanted to help her mother out. She wasn’t sure if she wanted to take care of her. Just asking a stranger to take care of her mother was probably the best thing Meredith could think of, but is Meredith really that careless? Thatcher Grey, Meredith’s father was no longer in the picture so she couldn’t ask her father. She couldn’t just go up to her father after twenty years of not seeing him. Twenty years of him abandoning her and her mother just to tell him that Ellis has Alzheimer’s and to see if he could take care of her because he once loved Ellis. No, Meredith couldn’t do that. Ellis Grey had no one else other than Meredith. Meredith was the only family Ellis had left, despite the relationship they currently have. Even if they weren’t currently in talking terms.

“Um, yes. I’ll be there in the morning,” The young blonde has said over the phone and then hung up on the lady. Putting her cell phone into Meredith’s pocket, she had to go find her best friend Sadie Harris, someone who Meredith has been partying and went to medical school with. She could tell already that Sadie won’t be too happy that Meredith had to leave only because Meredith promised her that they could party as much as they wanted before they get accepted at any of the hospitals they have applied to. And not just that, they just arrived to Europe so they haven’t really traveled that much to see what Europe looks like. Finding her best friend, she had started to break the news to her. “Die, I have to go back to Seattle,” The blonde paused. “I can’t explain why, I just have to go.” Meredith told her friend. From there, the two had fought over why Meredith was leaving and that she couldn’t break her promise she had made to Sadie. Meredith didn’t plan for any of this to happen. For her mother to get Alzheimer’s where she has to leave her best friend behind just so she can go back to Seattle to take care of her mother. Meredith could always just explain why she was leaving just to get Sadie to understand, but Meredith wasn’t really an open kind of person and she wanted to keep her mother’s Alzheimer’s a secret just until she had a chance to talk to her. Ellis Grey was also private and she knew her mother wouldn’t want Meredith to tell other people what’s going on with her without her mother’s permission.

As Meredith picked up her bags and just about to walk out of their motel room, Meredith heard Sadie’s voice. “Death, if you’re leaving, then we’re done being friends. You’re breaking your promise and friends don’t do that to each other!” Sadie told Meredith is a furious voice. Stopping her feet, Meredith turned around and faced her friend. “Die, I have to. If you know why I’m doing this, you would understand, but I can’t! I have to go now.” Meredith turned around again and walked out of the motel room. Meredith checked out then headed over to the airport. She haven’t bought a ticket a head of time, which is probably what she should have done, but she told the them it was a late minute thing and it was an emergency. She had to go back to Seattle and she promised the person who she had spoken to over the phone, she would be there in the morning. Luckily, there was a few extra spots emptied to go to Seattle, it must have been Meredith’s lucky day or that someone just knew Meredith had to be in Seattle as soon as possible. Once getting her ticket, Meredith gave them her luggage so they can put it on the plane for her and when it was time to abroad the plane, she found her seat, sat in it and waited for the plane to take off. While waiting, Meredith didn’t know why she was doing this for someone who never wanted a daughter in the first place, but she was just being the bigger person here. No matter how much Ellis never wanted Meredith, Meredith still cared for her mother. Why? Because she was her mother. And deep down inside, Meredith knew Ellis cared for Meredith. Ellis was never there for Meredith, but they did have some kind of a mother and daughter bond.

After an eleven hour flight, Meredith got off the plane, got her stuff and headed to her mothers house. Ellis Grey wasn’t there and she didn’t want to spend more money to get a hotel room. Her mother would have just told her to stay at the house anyway. About an hour drive from the airport to her mothers house, Meredith parked into the drive way and turned off her car. Sitting there, staring at her childhood home, memories had come to her. Where she grew up, done some homework, spent time with her father for the little time she had with him, and even the time where her mother cut her own wrists because she was so desperate that Richard had left her for his wife. Getting out of the car, Meredith grabbed her bags, walked to the front door and unlocked it. Opening it up, Meredith walked inside the house and looked around after placing her bags down. Everything seems to be the way how it was when Meredith left for Medical school. Not a single thing has changed. A few dust here and there, but that’s only because Ellis doesn’t have time to clean only because she spent most of her time in the hospital cutting people open. Doing what Ellis does best. Meredith has decided she would just leave her stuff where it was currently just so she could see her mother. But before she goes anywhere, Meredith needed to take a shower. She needed to get the plane smell off her and to smell fresh. Grabbing the clothes Meredith needed, she walked upstairs to the bathroom and undressed herself, hoping into the shower. It was like Meredith never left, everything was still in place, and the only thing Meredith found weird about is that how quiet the house was. Of course Ellis was never home so the house was always quiet, but this quietness seemed different. It was like Meredith knew Ellis wasn’t coming home. It wasn’t like her mother would just walk into the house in a few seconds, yelling out Meredith’s name to tell her she’s home.

An hour had went by of showering and driving over to the Roseridge Home, Meredith got out of the car and headed inside the building. Looking around, she haven’t seen her mother sitting on one of the chairs. Taking a deep breath, Meredith walked over to the receptionist. “Hi, I’m Meredith Grey. I received a call yesterday about my mother, Ellis Grey.” Meredith introduced herself. “Yes, we’ve been waiting for you.” The lady had told Meredith as she continued talking. “Your mother has been too. She has been forgotten some things, but at least she remembers you still.” The lady told Meredith. “Where is she? Who is currently taking care of her here?” Meredith asked. Meredith didn’t want to ask too much questions, but she felt like she had to ask. She needed to know who is currently taking care of her mother and who is her doctor so she could get more information on how advanced her mother’s diagnoses is. Although, if Ellis Grey still remembers her daughter, it probably wasn’t that advanced. Meredith just needed time with her mother before it gets really bad. Before she forgets who her daughter was and for the only way for Meredith to find out is to talk to the doctor who diagnosed Ellis Grey. If Meredith just walked in and Ellis didn’t know who Meredith was, she wasn’t sure how she would feel. About her own mother not recognizing her own daughter. It probably would heart break Meredith to see Ellis like that. Meredith knew Alzheimer’s was a horrible disease, but she has never dealt with it until now, until she had found out her mother has it. “Her doctor is currently here today. I’ll go let him know you’re here. If you want to see your mother, she’s currently in the den.” The receptionist got up and showed where Ellis Grey was before walking away to find Ellis’s doctor. Meredith stood there, watching her mother. Her mother was currently sitting in front of the window, looking outside.

About five minutes later, Ellis’s doctor had showed up and talked to Meredith privately about Ellis. It seemed like from what the doctor had told Meredith, today was good for Ellis. Most of Ellis’s memories were there but she didn’t want to leave because she had a feeling it would be worse. Being there at Roseridge Home was Ellis’s choice. And before anything got worse, Ellis wanted to speak to Meredith, which is why she had the nurse to call Meredith and to tell her to come back to Seattle. “Thank you.” Meredith told the doctor and walked over to her mother. “Mom?” Meredith said to her mother, waiting for her to answer back. “Oh Meredith! You’re here! We need to talk.” Ellis told Meredith as she continued. “First off, I need you to promise me something. I need you not to tell anyone about me. About that I have Alzheimer’s. You have to promise me that, okay?” Ellis told Meredith as she got up from the chair and walked over to Meredith, taking her hands in her hands. "Why would I tell anyone about the Alzheimer?" Meredith asked herself in thought. Or better yet, why didn’t Ellis wanted Meredith to tell anyone? Is it because Ellis feels embarrassed about the disease? It could also be because Ellis didn’t want Meredith to be embarrassed by it. But there was no way Ellis would think about her daughter. About her being embarrassed. If anything, Ellis wanted Meredith to keep it a secret because she didn’t want anyone to know about the horrible disease. If anything, she would rather have everyone to think that she’s traveling the world and writing a book, which people would never see a book from Ellis Grey in the future.

After an hour of catching up, out of nowhere, Ellis started to lose more of her memories again. This time it was the existence of Meredith Grey. Ellis Grey didn’t remember who Meredith was anymore, her own daughter. Seeing her mother like that was hard on her. She had to remind her mother who she was. It looked like when Meredith told Ellis who she was, she was a bit confused. It was like Meredith never existed in her life. It hurt Meredith because she had all of these memories about her mother, she knows who her mother was, but Ellis Grey didn’t remember a thing about Meredith. All she thought was that Meredith was probably a stranger to her or that she was some sort of friend. And at this point, Meredith wasn’t too sure what she wanted to do. She did apply at Seattle Grace Hospital when she graduated from medical school so she hoped that she would get in there. It was the hospital that Ellis worked at before being diagnosed. And if she was to get in there, it would make it easier on Meredith because she would be close to her mother still and she could care for her mother the best she could. The one thing Meredith had to do is to sell her mother’s house. Of course there were lots of memories she had of that house, but she didn’t want to remember about the incident that her Ellis tried to kill herself in the kitchen and begging Meredith not to call 911 when she was about five years old. But she wasn’t too sure. She can either sell the place and find a place of her own or she could just stay and live in it, hoping that there would be a miracle where her mother would come back and be cured from Alzheimers. This alzhimers disease was just too new for Meredith and she just needed time to figure out what to do. The blonde just need to get a job first before figuring out what she was going to do about her living situation. It wasn’t like she didn’t have anywhere to live. A perfect home that was emptied and belonged to Ellis Grey, who possibly won’t ever use the house ever again. It was at least free for a few nights at least just until Meredith decides if she should take over the ownership to the house or not.

Writing Samples.

I found it was a need to put this down here in case anyone wants to see what my writing is like.

SAMPLE 1:
This sample was for one of my starters I wrote for someone from my Medusa profile but I love this starter so much, I thought it would be a great sample of my writing.
*** Please keep in mind I may not write as much as I did on that starter. Only reason for that is because Meredith is my baby and I'm OBSESSED with the character along with MerDer and the twisted sisters (Meredith and Cristina). Also anything in the sample that is in italic is what the therapist is saying, except for the last paragraph. For that past paragraph, I've actually decided to put what the nurses has been saying in bold and in italic. I don't want that to confuse anyone.

"So why are you here, Dr. Grey?" It was Meredith's second time in being therapy, but the first time in a few years since she last have been to therapy. First time she went because each time she worked with Derek, all she could think about was Derek's tongue in her mouth. She ended up finding out Derek wasn't the only reason why she went to therapy for the first time. Ellis Grey was also the reason why Meredith went. Finding out that her mother wasn't trying to kill herself when she was cutting herself. Her mother was an extraordinary surgeon who didn't want to die, but almost ended up killing herself due to blood loss because of Richard Webber. She wanted to be with Richard, but Richard decided to stop seeing her mother so he could stay with Adele. But this time her being back into therapy had nothing to do with her mother. It was all about Derek and trying to figure out how she can move on to get Derek to believe she was ready for marriage and have a life time with him. She may say she isn't at the moment, but honestly if Meredith actually could let go of the past and the problems she had with Derek, they could possibly make it work. To have a life time with one another the way how they both want it to be. But Meredith of course was so stubborn worrying about how their future would end up and believing Derek would do the same thing as Thatcher had done to her and her mother when she was about five years old. Derek and Thatcher of course weren't alike and Meredith wasn't like her mother who would have an affair with other people, but it still worries her. Worrying about how their future would end up if it's nothing but problems. Although, it would work if Meredith wouldn't run away each time when there's a problem around her. Each time when there was a problem, Meredith always tries to ignore it and hope it would be back to normal in time. It doesn't because she and Derek would have to talk it out before they could even fix it.

The room where Meredith is in was quite. Not one single word was coming out of Meredith's mouth. The therapist was just sitting there looking at her waiting for her to answer her question. You would think it would be easier for a person to talk in therapy for the second, but with Meredith it wasn't. The blonde surgeon doesn't open up to people, she doesn't open up to anyone except for Cristina. But since Cristina wasn't around, and she and Derek aren't in a very good place, Meredith felt like going back to therapy would be a better option. If the therapist was the same one who she had before, then yeah. She might have talked right away, but it was a different person. Talking to someone about her personal problems was hard for her, even to new people who she never had talked to before. "I've read your file. You've been in therapy before. It is about the same reason? About you and Derek? I've also read something about your mother in the file. But I'm sure you're past that part already, right?" The therapist sat there with her leg over the other. A binder placed on her lap and she was holding a pen with her right hand. Surgeons and nurses names was being called or paged to be somewhere. There were surgeons and nurses walking passed the door to the room and also the windows where people were able to see inside the office from the hallways, but Meredith wanted the blinds closed so no one would see her in therapy. She didn't want anyone to know she was in therapy, actually. People seeing Meredith in therapy was one of her weaknesses. It'll make people thing she isn't strong enough. She is strong, but when it comes to Derek, Meredith is vulnerable. When she's around Derek, it always makes her to want more and same goes for Derek. They can't seem to stay away from each other no matter how much they try. "There was a rumor I've been hearing around the hospital. Is that why you're here? But I can't tell you more about that until you tell me why you're here." The rumor was what brought Meredith to the therapy in the first place, but she didn't want to admit it. Not to the shrink, anyway. Not at the moment at least.

Still not one single word had come out of Meredith's mouth. She is quietly sitting there on the couch staring at the table in front of her that only had a vase of flowers on it. Going to therapy was the best option the blonde could think of but yet she wasn't ready to open up to the female therapist who was sitting in the chair by her. "Dr. Grey. You've been sitting here for a while now and haven't said a single word. If you don't want to talk to me, then I can't help you the way how you want me to. If you just want to sit here for a while, we can. But you need to talk to me so I can help you get through what bothering you." The way how Meredith was going, she was going to spend a lot more days and hours in therapy. Meredith clearly didn't want to be there, but she didn't have a choice. Well, she did, but it was the only thing she could think of. "You know, we can sit here as long as you want. I have time to sit here till you're ready to talk. You just need to know it'll be longer sessions and more therapy days." Just as what she expect it to be. More hours and more days of therapy. "Coming to see me is a huge step, Meredith. It'll be even a bigger step if you'd talk." The therapist was more than willingly to wait till Meredith starts talking, but she was trying to make the famous daughter feel more welcome so Meredith would be in a mood to start talking soon. It didn't have to be right away, but hopefully soon Meredith would be able to start talking so the female therapist would able to help Meredith. To help her to move on from the past and maybe it'll push Meredith to be ready to be in a relationship with Derek again. To get the extraordinary woman to be more than ready to have a marriage and a family with the love of her life, the man who she wanted to spend the rest of her life with. The only other person who knew Meredith well enough other than Cristina.

Meredith mind was pretty much thinking about Derek the whole time since she had sat there on the couch. Since overhearing the nurses talking about Derek Shepherd and a nurse sleeping together, it was starting to make Meredith realizing she's going to lose him. It probably was her fault for drawing the love of her life to another woman, but she was hoping Derek would at least give her a few more weeks or hopefully a few days till she figures things out. She didn't want to lose her McDreamy over another nurse who could never be as good as Meredith is for him. The nurse wasn't Meredith Grey and that would most likely mean the relationship with Derek and the nurse or anyone else who Derek is going to be with in the future would never work because Derek only has eyes for Meredith no matter how much Derek wanted to move on and doesn't want to wait for her. Meredith's only wants to be with Derek no matter how much she doesn't want to admit it either. What they're going through right now could possibly be a way to keep them both strong in the future. Their relationship could end up becoming way stronger than it ever was because of their past problems. Meredith just has to believe that and hopefully it'll stay that way rather than them breaking up or running away from each problem they have or what they're going to have in the future. The pregnancy hormones, which she had just recently found out that morning before getting to work, she was pregnant with Derek's child, were starting to make Meredith's eyes water while thinking about the love of her life. Thinking about how she could lose him over something she thought she wasn't ready for, but never actually had the chance to try to see if they could actually make it work. The watery tears started to run down her face, but before the therapist even had the chance to notice it, Meredith's pager went off and she wiped the tears off of her cheek before looking at her pager. "I gotta go. I got a patient to attend to." Meredith stood up from the couch and took one step away from the couch to start walking out of the room. "We're not done here, Dr. Grey. We still have a half hour of this hour." The female said as she took the binder of her lap and stood up when Meredith did. "Yeah, well I am. Plus, I got patients that need me." Meredith told her therapist as she walked towards exit of the room. "Same time tomorrow, Dr. Grey."

The blonde woman took a deep breath and walked out of the room. They were only supposed to meet two to three times a week but since Meredith didn't said a single word during the therapy session, her therapist thought it was best if they made an extra day out of it. Meredith would still have to pay for that extra day, that didn't matter to her. Money didn't matter to her at all. Not at this moment anyway. She was just too focused on Derek. Plus, the extra day would give Meredith more time to have a chance to talk to her therapist, even though she may not want the shrink to poke into her head. Walking through the hallway and sighting, Meredith walked over to the nurse's station and took a deep breath. She placed the tablet for her patient's charts onto the counter as she was updating her patient's charts. Updating her patient's charts, she started to overhear something very disturbing from the nurses. "Did you hear? Dr. Shepherd has been sleeping with a nurse. I wonder how Dr. Grey would feel about that." Meredith's eyes looked up from the tablet over to the nurses. Hearing that was putting too much emotions through Meredith's body from the pregnancy hormones. It wasn't the first time Meredith heard of if it, but people was still talking about it. "Stop with the rumor spreading and get to work!" It was the hormones that were making Meredith like that. Yes, she may be crappy most of the time, but she had never actually said something like that to nurses. Not even to her friends. "If you'd rather be spreading rumors that could or could not be true and not work, then you might as well go home and not bothering coming back!" The hormonal surgeon said to the two nurses and stomped off away from the station after picking the tablet back up from the counter to the nurses station. Guess the nurses didn't know that Meredith was standing there because when they seen her, all they could do is stand there looking over at her, but after hearing what Meredith said to them, they were in complete shock. The blonde woman then made her way over to the patient that the nurses paged her for. She had to go to the ER. There was an emergency patient that was coming in with some abdominal pain and a head injury. While getting to the ER after about ten minutes or so, Meredith went over to her patient and checked the head injury while the interns and nurses checked the abdominal pain and to stop the bleeding. After checking on the patient and stopped all bleeding, she headed the patient over to get a CT scan done. Since Derek was going to get paged, she made sure the nurses would page him to the room where the CT scan was so he wouldn't have to go down to the ER for nothing.

SAMPLE 2:
Okay. So this sample was also a starter for someone, but I also love this to use for a sample.
***Same goes for this sample. Anything that is in italic is what another person is saying, not Meredith.

Waking up at 5 O'clock in the morning by the sound of her alarm, Meredith turned around and hit the button to turn it off. She turned back over and continued to lay there as she started to think about how her life would be in the next nine months. Would she and Derek get back together because of his unborn baby she had just recently found out she was carrying? Or would they still be going through this whole ignoring one another because Meredith couldn't fully commit to their relationship as much as he can? All because of Meredith can't admit how she really feels towards Derek. They could still end up back together even if it has nothing to do with the baby. If they did get back together, Meredith just hoped it didn't have anything to do with the baby. Getting back together because of the baby wasn't Meredith's kind of idea for a relationship. Although since Meredith is pregnant with his child, they couldn't really ignore each other if they end up not getting back together. Derek is the father and he has the right to be a part of their child's life and even with their personal problems going on, Meredith wouldn't keep his child away from him. She would want Derek to be a part of their child's life. She didn't want their child to be without a father like she has been for years. Not even that, Meredith and Derek would have to talk to each other about their child and co-parent their child about where is the baby going to stay, who is going to pick up their child after work from day care, who gets the child during holidays, and other stuff like that.

Taking a deep breath, Meredith removed the blankets off her body and slowly sat up on her bed, swinging her feet off the bed and onto the wooden floor. Meredith looked over at the alarm clock and saw it had been about fifteen minutes since she had turned her alarm clock off. It was 5:15 in the morning. Pulling herself up from her bed, Meredith took a quick shower, grabbed her clean clothes and changed into them. She brushed her hair and finished getting ready for work. When she had finished, she went out of her room, went downstairs to the kitchen, and saw Izzie sitting at the kitchen table finishing off her breakfast. "If you want a ride, hurry up because I'm leaving." The blonde haired woman said to her roommate as she headed off to the coffee maker to pour herself some coffee in her travel coffee mug. "We still have lots of time before we have to go to work, Mer. So come, sit, eat." Izzie told Meredith and was still unaware of Meredith's pregnancy. "I want to be at the hospital early. I got patients to check up on and I'll eat at the hospital. I'll pick something up on the way or find something at the hospital to eat." Since Meredith found out she was pregnant, Meredith had changed a little. Lately, she has been pretty much all work and no play. Or at least doing nothing fun. She's been wanting to do more hours, do a lot more of night shift or at least until the baby comes because she knows she would have to take a bit more time off to take care of her baby. She didn't want to become like the mother how Ellis was to her.

"Are you okay? You seem different lately. You've been working a lot more." Izzie was starting to get curious about how Meredith has been acting lately. "Are you still avoiding Derek? I still can't believe you're avoiding him because of him telling you he loves you. I'm starting not to get you two. He loves you and it's quite obvious you two belong together and that you love him back, why don't you just suck it up and get together and live a happily ever after together. Get married and have a family. We all know that's going to happen anyway, why don't you just make it happen sooner rather than later?" Izzie suggested, trying to get Meredith wanting it more than she thought and trying to butt into Meredith's relationship problems. "Izzie, just stop! I'm going into work early because I want to. Me wanting to work more has nothing to do with me avoiding Derek and if it was, so what!" the hormonal surgeon said to her friend. "So again, if you want a ride, hurry up!" Meredith said to her as she walked out of the kitchen and out of the door with her bag on her shoulder and travel up in her hand. Meredith unlocked her door when she got to her car and got in, waiting for Izzie to hurry up.

When Izzie finally got to the car, Meredith drove them to Seattle Grace Hospital. It nearly took about a twenty minute drive and a very quiet one too. Meredith haven't said a single word on the drive there because she didn't want to start fighting, the same kind of fight they had earlier, about why Meredith wanted to go to work earlier. If they were still interns, it would make a lot more sense and there wouldn't be any questions asked because they all would know the answer to that. They all would want to get the best case. If they wanted the best case, they would have to go into work earlier. Since they're attending's, apparently Meredith needed a reason for going into work early and there was a reason to it, but she didn't want to say anything yet about it because she wasn't ready to tell anyone. Just yet, anyway. Walking into the hospital after getting there, Meredith headed to her locker and changed into the dark navy blue scrubs then went to work. Just after she had finished checking up on her patients and updating their medical charts on the tablets, Meredith has gotten a page. A new patient had come into the ER and needed both Meredith and Derek's help, but Meredith was unaware of Derek's part. She didn't know he was a part of that case till after she got to the patient. "What happened with the patient?" Meredith asked curiously. The patient had been in a car accident. There was a shard of glass in the abdomen and there seemed to be a brain tumor that caused the accident.

Guidelines.

Before roleplaying with me, we need to go through some guidelines/rules or however you wanna call it.
I know it's a lot of reading, but this is important.
PLEASE take a moment of your time to read this.

FRIEND REQUESTS:
Once being accepted, it will be because I trust you or if I know you in OOC. There might be times I accidentally add/accept you. If that happens, then I'll delete you right after I realize I added or been accepted by someone. Most of the time I am pretty careful on who I add though. If I do add you and if I don't know you, I will probably give our roleplay a try.

If I had you on my friends list for a while and all of the sudden if I'm not on your friends list, there probably was a reason why. It probably won't be because of the number problem. I actually don't mind being a number. But if I ever did delete you, it'll be because you did something that I don't like or got me really annoyed. There are also many of other reasons why I would delete someone, so if you don't want to be deleted off of my friends list, you would follow my rules. If I ever do go on a deleting spree, all of my mains are safe! They should know who they are!

PHOTOS:
I edit all of my photos on photoshop/photofiltre. Before I even had these programs on my computer, I've been using the online photo editors. If you ever want the link where I got the photoshop/photofiltre from, feel free to ask. I don't mind giving it to you, but it might take a while to find the link for it since I have one of them saved somewhere and the other link I don't have saved, but mostly know where to find it. Either that or google it or buy the photoshop.

DO NOT STEAL MY PICTURES! Yes, I'm aware that I found them on the internet, but if you want a certain picture, PLEASE ASK! I edit them and then put a tag on them. If I find out that anyone stole a photo of mine that I uploaded, then I'll delete you. If you want one of my edits, feel free to ask. I don't mind making one or a few for you. If you asked and keep hounding me to make it for you right away, then I'll just say forget it. I'm not going to even bother making one for you. It'll be because you're pressuring me and I might not feel like making you a photo at that time. If I say I'll make you a photo, I will mean I will make you a photo. BUT if it does take like a month or more than that for me to edit one for you I don't mind you asking again because I could have forgotten to make you one. If there's a certain photo you want me to edit for you, send me the photo. If you have read this far, please tell me what your favourite TV show is, in the comments below.

MAINS:
I do have a group for Grey's Anatomy, Charmed, General Hospital, One Life to Live, etc... It all depends on what I'm roleplaying and where I put these rules on, which will be mostly on all of my pages/accounts, since I'm trying to make this for all of them. I will not accept more than one of each character as my mains. If I do, then I have my own reason why and I will not explain why.

STORYLINE:
Please message me before starting a storyline. Just because I roleplay from a show, doesn't mean I follow it. Just like my Starr Manning account, I do follow the show, but not all of it. I have another Starr Manning account that I don't even follow the show at all and I make my own storylines. Most of the time, I don't follow the show and the other time I do. It depends on if I like the storyline on the show or not. If the show that I roleplay from is done and not making new ones, then I will make up my own storylines simple as that. Just because the show is done, doesn't mean you can't roleplay them anymore, right? If my character is original, then I most likely won't follow the show, because well, they're original. In some cases, some of my characters aren't from shows.

IMPORTANT DETAILS:
Please try to use good grammar. I hate when people can't use good grammar and when I'm trying to get to replies, I can't even do them because people doesn't use it. Put some effort into your replies/messages or whatever you're doing for me to read. So please try to do the best you can. I get that you could make a mistake, and that's okay. Before sending out a reply, read over it and correct any corrections you need to do.

Please, please, PLEASE do not use text talk. I absolutely hate it! Sorry, but most of the time when people talks like that, I don't really understand it. There are times people says something to me and I have to ask them what that means. It's mostly because I never heard of those certain text talk before so I have to ask what they mean.

If you send a starter, it has to be three to four paragraphs. After that, I at least want Para. No semi-para but para. So, let's say each paragraph has to be five to eight sentences in them, depending on how big they are. If you want to add more, then do it. I don't really care. As long as it's para plus, I'm happy. But I WILL NOT ACCEPT NOVELLA! It's way too much for me. I'm normally a multi-para not novella. All though, there are times I write and can't stop writing. It happens.

DO NOT GOD-MODE MY CHARACTER! I don't like it when people control my characters. If I find that someone controls my character, then I'll stop roleplaying with you and delete you off of my friends list. If I ever let someone to god-mode, it'll be only to my characters love interest. But that'll rarely happen though because I like to control my own character.

If I have a love interest for my character, that person will be my love interest for the time being and mostly will also be my characters love interest. So, if my character is single, doesn't mean he/she is available. It'll probably mean they have a love interest already, but haven't yet admitted their feelings. If my character is taken then my character will not cheat on the love interest. My characters aren't cheaters unless if it was for a storyline that I'm doing.

When it comes to messages and comments, I don't care where we discuss storylines or just to talk. Preferably in messages though because people may want to snoop into our OOC talk, I don't want that. Roleplaying is only for comments. I don't really care if people see that since I have nothing to hide. It's only roleplaying anyway.

I do allow drugs, violence, raping. As long as it's in our storyline, I will allow it. If it gets to far, I will say something. I don't want people to be raping my character all the time though. Especially since if it's a character who is giving their body away for the other person to use however they want to use it for. Again, if it gets out of hand, I will message you about it. You do need to message and discuss it with me first before deciding to rap my character. Otherwise, I will say something or won't answer back, possibly delete you off of my list as well.

OOC:
If I'm not around, then it'll mostly be because real life is calling me and I must go to it. It's way more important than being on here all the time. If something ever comes up in real life, I have to go to it, meaning I won't be on all the time and it could be possible I might be taking a hiatus break.

When it comes to replies, please wait. I get that most of you want to roleplay with active roleplayers. Honestly, active roleplayers, doesn't mean that you reply to them in the next couple of days or sooner. Being on the profile every day or close to everyday means active. If I say I'll get to replies, obviously means I'll get to replies. It will take time because most of the time I'm just lazy to get to the replies. Lately, I've been pretty good with the replies, depending on who I'm roleplaying on and maybe with. If you have read this far, please tell me  which horror movie is your favorite (if you do not have a favorite horror movie then tell me who your favorite Disney character is) below.  Please do not bug me for replies. I'll get to them when I feel like it and I know you'll do the same so as long as you don't have a problem with me not replying quick enough or that day, we'll be fine. I'll most likely reply in a few days anyway.

I understand that a lot of roleplayers just doesn't have one profile/account. If that's the case, please try to be on your character who is connected with my character at least a few times a week or maybe once every week. It doesn't matter if you reply to me or not. I'm very patient when it comes to replies. Go ask a few people who I roleplay with. I'm sure they'll tell you how patient I am when it comes to that. Just as you guys know, this isn't my only roleplaying account. I have lots more, mainly because I'm this nice person who does favors for people and/or if I feel like making another. I do try to come on everyday to check up on stuff. If not every day, then a few times a week. It depends on what's going on and how busy I am. If I am extremely busy, I will notify everyone through messages, comments, the stream statuses, and/or through bulletins.

PLEASE REMEMBER THERE ARE TWO HIDDEN THINGS IN THE RULES.
I'LL KNOW IF YOU READ MY RULES OR NOT!
It is possible that I will update this. ;)
