Lois Lane 29 had moved fast up in the media world and journalist ranks at the Daily Planet. The Army brat turned single Pulitzer prize was the associate Editor now for the paper Despite having broke landmark stories she was still very tough on the staff with less than ambitous viewpoints and it was quarter of the year, the time for the key stories was crucial in the market.
She was very pensive and strict on her targets. Despite not even being thirty, the Smallville U grad was a determined in her reviews of each of her writers as they went in and out of her office today.
Being sure of this made her at the top of the game.
It was Friday so as usual she had to asses the week's end. She sighed finishing up checking the reports her team finished. She was dressed in a short black pencil skirt with matching blazer and a pink slightly unbuttoned shirt with her brunette hair in a bun as she sat her OFFICEflexing her left foot where her black Jimmy Choo high heel was on.
Being a single woman closing in on 30 in the city seemed the norm for a CAREER woman. She frankly was hardly interested in marriage and kids and single and mingle was her game. She often was sweet with her midwest dispostion but she was queen boss bitch in a boardroom and press conference with the more arrogant city boys and brokers like Alexander Luthor who want nothing more than prostitutes and coke. She had the brass to deal with the best of them
At 6:15pm she finished things and waived off to her colleague Lana."Finish up and head home my babes, try and enjoy whats left of it" She grabbed her bag and headed out of the building and walking to the station. She paused

She stopped for a bit and checked her time. It was still early and she wanted to avoid the rush. She looked and knew she was surrounded by the more trendy places in Metropolis. Spitafields, Brick Lane, Shoredicth and Hoxton were all around with the happening music bars and pubs.
She smirked and figured she needed a good stiff drink. She made her way down the street, going past the Spitaield market and even the past the usual hang out of the Big Light bar and into shore ditch and well into trendy areas. The sounds of Mark Ronson's Stop me rang out of the bar as she went to find a place to sit going to one of the sofas by the table and looking at the wine list ordering a glass of wine as she pulled out her blackberry and scrolling her e-mails looking up to see who was around noticing someone come in rather striking and familiar.
"Well look what the cat dragged in" she smirked "And where were you all day?" she said looking to him wondering if he'd notice.
