WANTED CONNECTIONS.
FACECLAIMS AND BIOS ARE UP TO TAKER. Contact: @jordangreyson if interested. Please don’t abandon and all that other jazz. I’ll even make you edits. max greyson (younger brother) Max is both a source of support and tension for Jordan. Growing up in his older brother’s shadow, Max initially admired Jordan’s intelligence and creativity. But as Jordan’s addiction worsened, their relationship became strained. Max now feels a mixture of resentment and pity, often stepping in to help their mother when Jordan disappears, but also feeling like Jordan’s constant relapses take a toll on the entire family. Despite this, Max still wants to see his brother recover, though he’s more skeptical than his mother about Jordan’s chances of turning his life around.
becca lawson (best friend) Becca has been Jordan’s closest friend since high school, and though their paths diverged after graduation, she has stayed in touch with him through thick and thin. Becca understands Jordan’s struggles in a way that few others can, as she herself once battled alcohol addiction before getting sober. She tries to be a steady presence in his life, encouraging him to get clean, but also calling him out when he tries to manipulate or lie to her. Becca represents the person Jordan could confide in without fear of judgment, though their relationship has been strained by his repeated betrayals.
luke reynolds (old college friend)Luke knew Jordan during his university years when he was still on the path to becoming an engineer. They bonded over late-night study sessions and shared ambitions. However, after Jordan dropped out, Luke distanced himself, not wanting to get pulled into Jordan’s downward spiral. They’ve since reconnected sporadically, and Luke has tried to offer Jordan professional help in the tech world, but his patience has worn thin due to Jordan’s inconsistency and failure to show up when it counts. Luke represents a version of the life Jordan might have had if things had gone differently.
sophie greer (ex-girlfriend) Sophie was one of Jordan’s most significant relationships. They met during one of his sober periods, and for a while, things seemed promising. Sophie believed in Jordan’s ability to change and was supportive during his initial efforts to stay clean. However, his relapse shattered their relationship. Sophie eventually left him when she realized she couldn’t save him from his demons. Despite the breakup, Jordan still carries feelings for Sophie, and she remains a symbol of what he lost due to his addiction.
ethan "edge" ramirez (current friend and enabler) Edge is one of Jordan’s more dangerous relationships, a fellow addict who thrives on chaos. They met in a recovery group, but instead of supporting each other, they enabled one another’s worst habits. Edge is charismatic but reckless, and he and Jordan often spiral into benders together. Although Jordan occasionally sees the danger of their friendship, he can’t quite sever ties because Edge represents a comfortable, if destructive, escape from his responsibilities.

Conversations in the dark
Conversations in the Dark. Featuring alcohol use, drug mention, etc. Jordan sat in the dimly lit room, the only light coming from the flickering TV that played some late-night rerun he wasnāt really watching. His fingers twitched around the neck of the bottle, half-empty, the amber liquid inside sloshing with each nervous grip. He had lost count of how much heād already had to drink, but it didnāt matter. It never did.
The silence between the TVās static hum and his own thoughts grew louder, and thatās when she came to him. āYou did this to yourself, you know,ā Sophieās voice echoed softly in his mind, a familiar sting that followed him everywhere. He closed his eyes, swallowing hard against the burn in his throat as he took another swig. He could picture her thereāstanding by the door, arms crossed, her expression equal parts disappointment and sorrow.
āI know,ā he muttered, though his voice barely escaped his lips. It didnāt matter that she wasnāt really there; in his mind, she was real enough. The memory of her was sharper than the alcohol, more intoxicating than anything he could shoot into his veins. Sophie had been everything good about his life onceābefore heād wrecked it all. Back when she still looked at him with hope, not like some tragic figure doomed to destroy anything he touched. He hadnāt heard from her in months, not since she left, not since the relapse that tore their fragile life apart. But he still heard her voice. Always. āYou always say youāre sorry,ā she said, her words now edged with frustration, ābut it never changes, does it?ā
Jordan leaned his head back against the couch, staring up at the ceiling. The dull, yellowed light of the TV cast long shadows, stretching across the walls like ghosts of his past. He could almost hear Sophie pacing the room, like she used to do when they argued. āIām trying,ā he said aloud, though he couldnāt tell if he was saying it to her or to himself. His hand tightened around the bottle again, the cold glass grounding him, even as it pulled him deeper into the numbness he sought. The silence grew too thick, too heavy, and the only way to drown it out was another drink. He tipped the bottle back, gulping down the bitter liquid until his chest ached. āYouāll just keep doing this, wonāt you? Hurting yourself. Hurting me.ā Her voice broke then, like it used to when sheād had enough of his excuses. āI donāt know if you ever really wanted to stop.ā
He winced at that, the truth of it piercing through the haze. There was no argument left in him. She wasnāt wrong. The drugs, the boozeāthey were the only things that made the memories bearable. They dulled the edges of regret just enough for him to forget, even if only for a moment. But then Sophieās voice would return. Always, like clockwork. Like she was there to remind him what heād lost. āIf you really loved me, Jordanā¦ you would have fought harder.ā
His breath hitched, a wave of anger bubbling to the surface. āI did love you,ā he spat, nearly dropping the bottle as his hand shook. āI still do. Iāā The words caught in his throat, tangled up in the weight of all his mistakes. But the room remained empty. No matter how much he drank, how often he let Sophieās ghost haunt him, he knew she wasnāt coming back. And maybe she was right. Maybe she had to leaveābecause he hadnāt fought hard enough. Not for her. Not for himself. His eyes burned, but no tears came. He hadnāt cried in years. Instead, he took another swig, the alcohol pooling in his gut, numbing everything. āI loved you, Sophie,ā he whispered again, barely audible.
The TV flickered, casting shadows that danced across the empty space where she used to stand, where she would have sat beside him if he hadnāt driven her away.
But Jordan wasnāt sober enough to face that. Not tonight.
Not ever. Jordan greyson. /1992658
