Awakening.

Awakening

Sitting unmoved on her throne once again, Queen Akasha pondered her past and her present. Things had changed including her, of course she was still heartless and killed with no remorse whether it was a mere human or one of her children; when it came to Akasha there were always bodies left in her wake. But over a period of time she became fond of some of those who found their way into her tomb and she even ended up with a best friend whom was in fact human. She understood his skepticalism and his curiousity but the smell of his fear hadn't been far off. Who wouldn't be afraid of her? It was hard enough she had to learn to co-exist with humans, it made her blood boil. Once having the mindset to wipe out the entire male race and replace it with vampires, potentionally cleaning out the blood supply. Having a better mindset she knew it would be impossible to live without feeding. When Akasha first became a vampire, she as well as her king, Enkil had lost their will to feed and the two ended up in stoned statue state, moving only when necessary to do so, and over the years there had been many of her children all new and old that would take care of the King and Queen; being known as 'They Who Must Be Kept'. There were times when her blood had been used to heal others without her permission causing her to show her hand and kill them, Maharet had once stabbed her statue in the heart kill her but felt her very own life draining from her, making it known that killing Akasha meant killing them. This theory was tested once again when one of the Elders grew tired of watching over the King an Queen and placed them in the sun causing vampires all over the world to suffer third degree burns or death even, only causing the King and Queen's skin to turn bronze a bit.

After the deaths of vampires all over the world, Marius had now taken control and care of King Enkil and Queen Akasha; keeping them hidden from all who knew of their existance. Not hating the idea of remaining hidden, she did wonder how the world had changed when she slept. Akasha no longer had a king since she had killed him the very first time she'd awakened. Due to the music of Lestat, she couldn't ignore how bold he was; challenging his kind to come out into the open, without fear and not a care in the world on if older vampires came for him. Killing her king to make room for another was the only answer. Her reasoning for ending Enkil's life wasthe idea of remaning trapped with him, of course he worshipped the ground she walked on but Akasha was never one to be tied down for too long, not with him. It had been different with Lestat, he craved power but wanted to share it with her even without being under her trance. He was a new vampire back then but still wanted to retain his bad boy ways. As long as the two were together, he wouldn't be harmed and her blood prevented him from being burned in the sun much like other immortals. Marius tried everything in his power to keep Lestat away from Akasha due to knowing her how deadly her wrath was. Akasha had been decades stronger than any other immortal and could kill them without harming herself, she could lift about 4 tons under optimum conditions. There may have been others just as powerful as she and that couldn't be denied; but she found confort knowing that challenging her was punishable by death, regardless if who they were.

Akasha's once stone gray colored eyes now reverted to their dark green hue, the hards of her skin now turned it's soft and melanin color, She rose her hand as she slowly examined it, her body now free of it's unmoving stature she smiled to herself as she stood from her throne and walked away from it, examining her surroundings. "Why is it that everytime I awaken, I am in some strange place?" She spoke out loud as if someone had been in the room with her, her voice serene but demonic like. Closing her eyes, she groaned softly as the need to feed ran over her but also a familiar scent. "Mmmmm.... Louis and Lestat... You two are still alive.." Akasha stared into nothingness as her smirk remained once again speaking as if the two had been standing in front of her, Akasha had also met two new people Roman and Freya, not in person but there were times she found herself trapped in a trance while in her stoned state, showing her images of the two, did they know her? Did she know them in Uruk? Having many questions but not one answer, the Queen decided to reach out to them all, two of many would most likely be skeptical of her return and their guards would remain up but she expected nothing less, most of her kind had remained perfectly in tune with their humanity whereas others had opted to turn their feelings off, Akasha herself had adapted to this idea; she refused to let her guard down, not feeling the need to trust since she had been betrayd twice over.

Without a second thought, the Queen emerged from her tomb, the double doors flew open causings the doors to slam against the walls on both sides,  as she rose her hand towards it. Slowly, she walked towards the doors, her heels echoed each time they connectd with the marble floors. lightly growling, she had to be on her P's and Q's when awakening in a strange new environment, She may have been a changed Queen but she wasn't going to be a stupid one. Wandering the halls, she came to a stop near a balcony, her straightened black locks blew behind her as she peered out over the view. It was a beautiful sight, different from what she was used to in Uruk, Now understanding she was still in Los Angeles a playful smirk once again flashed. Remembering the last person who had been tasked to watch over her was human Robyn, She knew she was safe. But now she would find her family; hoping they could put the past in the past. Without a second thought, Akasha's eyes began to turn black as well as red tint around her pupil. "My children..." Her demonic like voice sounded. "I am coming for you... come out, come out.. wherever you are.." She chuckled to herself as she began her journey around town.

Join me or DIE.

Akasha hadn't been used to this new world she had woken up in. Feeling as though she'd woken up in the wrong time and no longer being in Uruk where she was born and raised. Not even Uruk was the same, with it now being called Egypt. Akasha had also no longer been in the care of any of her children, In fact the raven haired woman had been cared for by a witch, a mere human at that. Who knew? At least she didn't have to worry about the human growing tired of her duty and placing her in the sun, just as the caregiver before her had done. Which caused the deaths of many of her children all over the world, only confirming that the vampire species entire lifeline had been in the hands of the King and Queen, but mainly the Queen. Her death meant the deaths of many; And she had to be protected. During her first awakening, Akasha had killed her King, growing tired of being tethered to a man who couldn't protect her and made her feel weak. His jealously towards their children caused Akasha to distance herself from him, silently judging his intentions. The day she met the newborn vampire Lestat had only cemented her choice on what to do with King Enkil. Kill him the first chance she got; and that chance came the moment she heard the music of Lestat De Lioncourt. Akasha first laid eyes on Lestat when he wandered into her tomb, she and Enkil had been in their stoned state, though she could hear and see; to those on the outside could only see her through visions, when she wanted to be seen. Marius had tried to keep Lestat away from her, due to her stature in the vampire world, Marius knew that a newborn Lestat wouldn't steer clear of the Queen. Unaware that she was the mother of his race.

Lestat disobeyed and fed from the Queen, something she herself had allowed him to do, just to give him a taste of what was to come and to see bits and pieces of her life through her eyes, how things had been in the past, before Marius, before Lestat, before any of her children except the twins Maharet and Mekare; whom where two of the only ones who knew how and who Akasha truly was. Before Akasha was immortal, she and her King wanted their subjects to turn away from eating flesh, and turn to eating grains from farming, her people loved her for he ways and her attitude as a Queen; she was a Queen who wanted peace and not violence. All of that changed when Akasha became obsessed with the other side, the dark side, all things supernatural. When she becomes unsatisfied with the answers she recieved to her questions, she herself turned violent, with Akasha and her King ending up being killed by a group of of nobles; or at least they thought they killed them.

Akasha was fierce, scary, dangerous, uncaring, and heartless, among other things; but she was beautiful; she could tame anyone she wanted by just a look, though it wasn't easy for her attention to be kept, she had made an exception. With Akasha being  reborn as a vampire with the help of that very same angry and demonic spirit that had stalked about in the chambers of their home when the Queen wouldn't cease in her mission to question the abilities of the supernatural world; she had been different, different from what she had been before. As the years passed, Akasha and her King ruled, feeding and killing whomever they wanted, living wherever they wanted as well as turning most of their followers; the downfall of humans being turned to vampires, the King and Queen's thirst began to slow and instantly turn them to stone, which led to the two having been cared for by those who still followed Akasha's will.

At the end of it all, her last living children had bonded together to attempt to talk Akasha down, once they relized she had taken Lestat as her new King, Some of them died, because they hadn't been as strong as her; though they had drank most of her blood, Akasha still had one over them. Marius, the twins, and another had succeeded in weakening the Queen. But the final betray came from Lestat himself when he fed from her, attempting to drain her, Maharet stopped him and 'Killed' Akasha herself.. or so she thought. She wouldn't be silenced, not by anyone; and she vowed to return and take her revenge, she would no longer offer for them to join her, they had to die.
