Christina Aguilera: From the moment Niko and Christina joined the Mickey Mouse Club, the two seemed inseparable. This soon lead them to develop feelings for each other, they were young so they both didn't take it serious. It wasn't until they ended the show that they pursued a real relationship. During their relationship Niko continued to work on his acting and tv shows roles, while Christina began to pursue a singing career full time. The pair dated for three years, they did everything to support one another, but their careers started to seperate them. Christina landed a record deal and was promoting her upcoming debut album and Niko was about to start his second year on his tv show. The couple ended up breaking up, but remain very close friends.
Justin Timberlake: Justin and Niko grew really close while filming the Mickey Mouse Club, so close that during their second year when Niko's mother had to return back to Canada Justin's mother became Niko's legal guardian. The two shared a bed room and truly became brothers, when the Mickey Mouse Club ended the guys continued their friendship. Frankie pursed music while Niko focused on acting full time, during this time Frankie moved to New York to try and land a record deal. This lead the guys to go their own separate ways. The guys reunited again in 2003 to form Dead Man's Bones band, the guys had a passion to create a certain sound. They were extremely passionate for this project and when the reviews received were negative it really discourage Niko to ever do any type of music project.
JC Chasez: When Niko joined the Mickey Mouse Club JC was assigned as his big bother. He showed a young Niko around the set and was to guide him along the way. Niko really did look up tp JC and he learned a lot from him. Once the Mickey Mouse Club was over the guys continued to stay in contact, but at some point the guys just drifted.
Britney Spears: During the Mickey Mouse Club Niko and Britney weren't that close, but Britney dated Justin and was best friends with Christina that's why the two would be around each other. It wasn't until years later that the two actually became good friends. Justin and Britney's relationship survived post the MMC. During the time Niko and Justin formed their band Niko and Britney got close, they bonded during the recording of Dead Man's Bones debut album. Britney kept insisting to Niko that him and Christina still belonged together and that their love story wasn't over. When Justin and Britney finally broke up, Britney was ready to tell her side of the story via music/a song, so she reached out to Niko to help produce it.
Keri Russell: Keri was literally the shinning star amongst the cast, every guy wanted to date her and all the girls wantedt o be best friends with her. Eventually Keri and Tony became the shows star couple. Nikolas only really interacted with Keri when they had scenes to shoot. Every now and then Nikolas would bump into Keri at Hollywood events.
Tony Lucca: Tony and JC were best buds during the filming of the Mickey Mouse Club and because JC was Niko's 'big brother' Niko and Tony formed a friendship. Tony currently works as a musician and writes for other artist.
Matt Morris: Matt was out during his time on the Mickey Mouse Club and Niko was so impressed with Matt's bravery. The guys we're friends, but one of Niko's memory with Matt took place backstage after they finished filming an episode for the show. The entire gang had just finished playing spin the bottle, but Matt had invited Niko over to his dressing room to continue playing. That was the first time Niko kissed a member of the same sex and he actually enjoyed it; many years later the two would hook up from time to time.
Rhona Bennett: Since the beginning Rhona and Niko just clicked and became fast friends. Rhona was maybe the only one that he still stayed in contact. They were actually really good friends, they would frequently meet up for lunches and dinners. Rhona is currently working in the music industry and is part of multi platinum girl group.
