2.) What type of event is it? A kids book clun
3.) Hours of operation and days of the week open? Every Saturday 8am - 9:30am & 10am - 12pm
4.) A brief description of what the event has to offer? At the local library every Saturday morning from 8am - 9:30am which is the parent and baby group, for children 1 - 4 years of age. From 10am until 12pm kids get together to read a book and discuss it, children aged 5 - 10. It's perfect for children who love to read and it is a great way for children to make new friends, and for parents to make friends too.

OPTIONAL TASK 185
      (Descriptions in order of the pictures.)Sewing / Creative Room – Her sewing / creative room is her creative space. She spends her time in their making new clothes, or fixing up old clothes of hers or clothes she had purchased from the thrift store. She also does a lot of her upcycling work in their too. She has a lot of things in the room that help with her works. She has two desks. One small desk with a sewing machine, and draws that contain different threads, ribbons, buttons, beads and other little items. She then has a larger desk where she does her upcycling. She has three mannequin stands where she can place clothes on so she has a permanent model when her sister is not around. There are lots of shelves with different decorative items, and functional items. The two chairs she has in the room she upholstered herself with some old fabric from curtains she purchased from the thrift shop. Of course there is some hanging lights to for a little extra brightness. If you cannot find Bowie anywhere she is probably in her creative room.
Kitchen - Her kitchen is bright and open, and very large which she loves. She loves the copper lighting that hangs down over the kitchen island. The kitchen island has a lot of seats, so there is always room in the kitchen as she has a dining table in their too for people to sit and eat at. The kitchen is one of her favourite places and she spends a lot of time there as she loves cooking and baking. She loves how open the kitchen is, and there is a space for everything. She has a lot of storage space since she has a lot of cooking utensils, and equipment. She hates it when she tries to find something and she cannot find it because Avery has moved it. Everything has its place and she likes it being in its place. She always has flowers in the kitchen too, and she has a bowl of fruit always on the kitchen table. You can definitely find her cooking and baking a lot, there is always something going on in the kitchen.
Garden – Bowie’s garden is her happy place. It is huge, as she has a lot of land, one of the many perks of a renovated farm house is the land that occupies it. Bowie has a lot of flowers growing, which is a given since she is a florist and she loves nature. She is always planting new flowers for the seasons, so they will grow and her garden will always look luscious and beautiful. She has a few fruit trees that she likes to sit under, along with evergreen trees. They provide colour and shade. She has a porch with a seating area, a day bed, a bbq and rocking chairs. She has a mixture of outdoor lighting, and she really loves sitting outside at night and watching the garden. She also has some vegetable patches and patches to grow fruit. There is no better feeling that going out into her garden picking up some fruits and vegetables and then going into the kitchen and cooking. You can’t get fresher than that.
Bedroom – Her bedroom is a muted blue colour with some pops of colour all over the place. She has some tree decorations beside her bed where she hangs some lights. She has a large bed that she adores, if she could stay in her bed all day she would… in fact there are times when she does. Her bedroom is her safe space. She has a walk-in closet, a dressing table with a large mirror and chair where she sits and fixes her hair and makeup. She has flowers dotted around the room, some fake and some real. There is lots of art work hanging up, along with some mirrors. The mirrors really help brighten the room as when the sun shines in the amber hues bounce off the mirrors and illuminate the room in such a magical way. She has a window seat, and an ottoman at the foot of her bed. She is thinking of doing a little redecorating but she is not sure as to what exactly she is going to do yet. She also has an ensuite bathroom.
Exterior Shop – Purple is one of Bowie’s favourite colours but she felt like painting the entire exterior purple was a bit much, so she just settled for purple accents. She loves lavender, the smell, the colour purple, and how it can add a pop of colour to any bouquet which is why she chose a lavender field shop sign. She found an old bike and painted it purple and keeps it topped up with lavender flowers. She felt like it was a unique point for the outside of her shop and she absolutely adores it. Although someone tried to steal it once, so now she has to place it in the shop every evening when she closes. She has a sign with a list of prices on, and the specials section is constantly changing depending on the season, and what events are taking place during that time. She wanted a simple colour so the purple could pop which is why she settled on a muted yellow. She adores her shop and will not have a bad word said about it.
Interior Back Room – The interior back room of the shop is where Bowie spends a lot of her time working on large orders of floral arrangements. It’s a simple space, with a small island in the middle where she can work if she wants to. She also has shelves where she keeps some decorative items, and then some things she needs for the flower arranging. She has some buckets containing flowers, and ribbons and tissue paper. It is not very fancy, because, she does not need anything fancy. She needs functionality and that’s exactly what the space is… functional. She plans on painting the walls at some point to add some colour, but right now it’s just a basic pale colour. The cool thing about the island is that it is on wheels so she can move it and then work on the floor if she wants to. She likes the simplicity of it, and it helps keep her focused on her work as there are few distractions.
