05/25/2022 10:54 PM  OPTIONAL TASK 326 A DAY IN PARIS - Thursday 24th 1. 7.00am - Wake up, order room service and write a plan for the day - Starting the day with breakfast brought right to the room. Bowie and Azarath will then discuss the plan for the day, before then tackling everything on their itinerary list. 2. 8.00 am - Shower, get ready. Go and rent mopeds and go to the Arc De Triomphe - After getting ready for the day they are going to rent mopeds for their day in Paris as it will allow them to get around the city better. Once they have their mopeds they will head for the Arc De Triomphe to see its beauty up close and take some photos. 3. 10.00 am - The Louvre: Bowie and Azarath already have a museum pass to The Louvre. Although 2 hours will not be enough time to see everything since it is so big, they are going to take in as much as possible. Bowie has always wanted to visit The Louvre and now she has the chance as she is so excited.  4. 12.00 am - Tuileries Garden: Straight from leaving The Louvre they are going to explore the Tuileries Garden. They will grab ice cream and eat that whilst they walk around and take photos. Bowie will admire all the flowers and take in the beauty that it has to offer. 5. 1.00 pm - Go for a picnic in Champs De Mars: A picnic with an amazing view. Being able to look at the Eiffel Tower whilst they relax under the sun, and eat delicious food is a wonderful plan. Baguettes, cheeses, salami, ham, macarons, chocolate cake and different sparkling grape juices. A delicious picnic for two. 6.  2.00 pm - Place de la Concorde: Heading back to the same area the Tuileries Garden is, they will head to Rue de Rivoli and stoll through before heading to Place de la Concorde. A famous swuare full of French history, it was a spot during the French Revolution where King Louis XVI, Marie Antoinette and Robespierre were executed by guilotine.  Taking in some history is important. 7. 3.00 pm - Sainte-Chapelle: The Sainte-Chapelle is home to one of the world's best displays of stained glass. It is gorgeous inside. Taking a look around and seeing its beauty will be one heck of an experience. They will then check out The Conceierge. After leaving they will grab a coffee at the nearest cafe. 8. 4.00 pm - Notre Dame Cathedral: Another must see sight when in Paris. From Sainte-Chappelle it is a very short walk to Notre Dame Cathedral. She will take some photos outside of the cathedral especially of the small plaque that marks Point Zero (Point Zero des Routes de Frane), the historic center of Paris. As it is closed they can only view it from outside but it is totally worth it. Then they will walk through Île de la Cité and take a quick talk to one of the prettiest storefonts in Paris, Au Viex d'Arcole. This is a small cafe. They will head inside for another coffee and maybe a sweet treat. 9. 6.00 pm - Hotel, change, watch the sunset: They will return the mopeds before heaving back to the hotel. They will relax a little bit before showering and changing into some dressy clothes. They will then head to the roof of the hotel that over looks the city and has a great view of the Eiffel Tower. They will watch the sunset together, enjoying each other's company and enjoying the views. 10. 7.00 pm - Dinner and Buddha Bar: The two will then go to dinner. Salade Niçoise for starters, Bœuf bourguignon for a main, and Chocolate soufflé for dessert. A red wine to acompany the meal. Yum delicious. After dinner they will head to the Buddha bar for drinks. 0 Comments

05/25/2022 02:07 PM  OPTIONAL TASK 325 - part 2 TREAT RECIPE - TASK PART 2 TAUTE AU CITRON   Ingredients 400g sweet shortcrust pastry (or a pre-made pastry case!) 6 lemons 6 eggs 300g caster sugar 60g butter, diced   Instructions STEP 1 - If not using a pre-made pastry case, butter a loose-bottom tarte dish. Roll out the pastry and line the dish with it. Bake blind for 15 mins at 190C. Leave to cool. Reduce oven temperature to 150C. STEP 2 - Juice and zest the lemons. In a pan, pour the lemon juice and zest, sugar and the whole eggs. Mix with a spatula and cook at medium heat until the mixture bubbles (be careful not to let the eggs scramble), stirring continuously. Add the diced butter. STEP 3 - Pour the mixture into the pastry case and leave to rest for 10 minutes. Place in oven for 15 mins. Remove and cool. 0 Comments

05/18/2022 02:15 PM  ADDITIONAL TASK 95 Mother’s Day Diary Entry     Sunday 8th May 2022.   Dear Diary,     Today has been a rough day. So many mothers and daughters coming into Darling Buds, buying bouquets. So many happy faces and happy mother daughter relationships. Although I love making bouquets and seeing happy customers, it was extremely tough. All I could think about was how jealous of them I am. Selfishly a part of me hates them because they have what I do desperately crave. I’ll never celebrate a Mother’s Day again, well unless I have kids of my own. For me Mother’s Day is a painful day. A painful reminder that my mother was cruelly ripped away from me too soon. I didn’t even go to the grave to visit my mother today. That makes me such a terrible daughter. I can’t even talk to Avery about it, since she is hurting too as she has lost her mother. It’s been a lonely day. My heart hurts. I’ve cried too much today and I can’t seem to stop. I hate feeling like this. But nothing is going to change this. It will always be a horrible day for me. I’ve been trying to stay strong for Avery. We baked her mother’s favourite cookies earlier. Then we watched her mothers favourite movie that she watched with her as a kid. I’m glad I could provide some comfort for her. I just wish there was someone to comfort me. Anyway it’s late. 05/16/2022 12:14 PM  OPTIONAL TASK 322 Bowie had found herself stuck in the elevator at the police station, with none other than Mia Santero. The police officer that was continuously blackmailing her and getting money out of her. She was the last person she wanted to be stuck in an elevator with. She hated her, and would rather stick pins in her eyes than be stuck here. Bowie had only come to the station to drop off some brownies for the Sheriff. Now she was regretting that decision. If she had not had bothered she would not be in this position, curse her genorisity. Bowie sighed as Mia screamed through the speaker system telling whoever was on the other end to come and get them out now. The line went quiet and after a few moments a voice came through saying “we are doing our best, but this could take a while. I am so sorry” then the line went dead. Bowie did not have any cell service neither did Mia… just their luck. Bowie slid down the wall before sitting down on the floor. She was not great in tight spaces. In fact she hated it. She was trying to remain in control and not have a panic attack, but she could feel her panic rising. Before she knew it she was in a full blown panic attack. Mia sat down beside her. “Look at me” she demanded. “Hey I said look at me” she further ordered. Bowie tentatively turned her head to look at her. “Tell me some of the things you love about Hartsville” she instructed. Bowie looked at her confused. “Just tell me” she stated. “Ugh… my… friends and family are here” she stuttered. “What else?” Mia asked. “Beautiful scenery, there is so much to do” she stuttered, as she continued to try and catch her breath. “Great restaurants” she continued. “It is home” she said. The more Bowie focused on what she wanted to say the less she was focusing on her panic attack. “I wouldn’t want to live anywhere else” she continued. “The lake is where summer memories are made” she carried on listing things. After listing a few more things she was no longer going through a panic attack. She had calmed down. It had been a good trick from Mia to help distract her and calm her down. “You’re not an awful company when you’re not trying to be obnoxious and ruin my day.” Bowie said to Mia. Mia laughed at her “I just did it so you wouldn’t waste all the oxygen” she replied with a wink, letting Bowie know she was kidding. Bowie chuckled and nodded “I expected nothing less” she replied with a smirk. Just then the doors where pried open and the two were able to get out of the elevator. 05/10/2022 04:26 PM  OPTIONAL TASK 321 IBowie finished writing information down for her sister Avery and moved the pieces of paper to the side. She then began writing a letter to her pen pal. After writing about her life and giving her pen pal an update of what had been happening, she then began writing about her sister Avery. Writing openly and honestly. Saying things she would never say to Avery’s face, because she would never want to upset her.   ——- (part of the letter)   Avery is such a wonderful person. I am so lucky to have her in my life, but I worry about her. She’s married to Mackenzie now. They have been off and on for a while and now have settled down. I feel like it is a huge mistake. They married in secret so I never even had the chance to talk to her and question her decision. Avery gives so much to the relationship but it seems like Mackenzie gives nothing. I can see the toll it is taking on her both physically and mentally.   I think they are both bad for each other and would be better a part. Of course I would never deliberately split them up, but I wouldn’t be too upset if someone else did. I know I sound like such a horrible person. But I don’t want to see my sister get hurt and I just know that is how things will end up. The problem is, is that they can’t live with each other and they can’t live without each other.   When they are good they are really good. But when things are bad, it’s like a damn bomb goes off. I wish they never got back together, more importantly I wish they never got married. Oh I am so terrible. I guess I just have to try and be here for her and pick up the pieces when things fall a part. At this point it is almost guaranteed that things will end badly. I know it is going to destroy her and it breaks my heart. Any advice on what I could do would be greatly appreciated. Seriously! I need help.   ——-   Bowie folded the papers and placed them down. As she rummaged around looking for a stamp the papers got mixed up. Grabbing an envelope she shoved the papers into one envelope before grabbing another. Scribbling Avery on one and details on another she added a stamp to the one that needed to be posted. She placed Avery’s letter on the table for her before heading to the postal office.   She posted the letter before returning home. As she walked in the door she was stopped in her tracks by her sister who was waving papers in front of her face. “What the f*ck is this?” She screamed at her. “You really think Mackenzie and I shouldn’t be together?” She questioned. Bowie was accidentally sent the wrong letter to her pen pal and given Avery the letter instead. In the haste and mixup she hadn’t even registered. “I can explain” she said.
