there’s a light that calls my name.
it's sweet and has not taken my love in vain.
how many times could i fear it away and how many times is she willing to wait?
i fear to know the answer, for the comfort of my own darkness is enough to settle those ideas away. i want to love her, kiss her and want her as much as the air between my lungs, but i know i'm not enough. this death among my skin is an endless spread waiting to take every little bit of life that comes my way. and i can’t let her near it...

the horror in which it spreads is an unsettled feeling waiting to take each and every broken thing that needs healing. my love for her is too deep to let her drown in it. i’m meant to be alone with it: the memories of her kiss, her touch, her love…and everything else that i came close to being a part of.
i know the answer and i fear it more than anything else. i fear it more than myself.
