Childhood background

Kinsley Drake was born to a family who was living in poverty; Her mother Seline suffered from abuse from her husband and tried to shelter her kids away from the violence to only show them kindness and love. Her father Scott was a drug addict who will always buy drugs rather than support his own family. However, her mother suffered from bipolar disorder and ended her own life when Kinsley was three years old. She barely remembers her mother's only fact she was the only parent that showed her kindness and love. At a young age she was physically and sexually assaulted by her father, uncle and other male strangers.  The last time she saw her brother was when she was 6 years old as her father abandoned his son in the middle of a busy street. 

Teenage background

Kinsley had been sex trafficked by her father and her uncle a few times in her life to support their lifestyle of affording drugs. They had a few times owned a few different people's money that they used Kinsley as payment. A few months before she was reunited with  Hunter at the age of sixteen years old, she tried ending her life by taking sleeping pills and was hospitalized for nearly two weeks. While she was hospitalized, she was reconnected with her older brother who was there to get stitches for a fight that he was in.  Hunter immediately started to file to be the sole parent of Kinsley . Nearly a year of fighting for her justice, when she was two weeks from turning seventeen her father and uncle were found guilty of all charges and sentenced to death. She has been going to therapy but she cannot talk about her past. When she tries talking about her past she stays quiet and tears flow out. She has her memories completely blocked out. She started living with Hunter as he tries his best to encourage her and support her while she battles with herself to trust people again.
