Optional task 431

Bowie adjusted her dress and then fixed the fairy wings that were on her back. She smiled as she entered the mythical mystery party. She was excited. It was a celebration of spring which got Bowie even more excited. At the entrance she noticed people being greeted. She waited in line. “Good evening. Name please?” She was asked. “Bowie Zeppelin” she replied. “Ah yes Miss Zeppelin welcome. A few rules. You must leave your bag and phone with our female attendant at the baggage area, along with a coat or anything else you might have. Once inside you can enjoy free food and drink, and party as long as you want” the attendant said. “Got it” Bowie replied. As it was invite only she understood the name checking, but leaving your bags and phones with at attendant was a new one on her.

Bowie made her way over to the other attendant and handed in her bag with her phone inside. She was given a ticket and then headed into the party. The atmosphere was electric. There was a lot of people there already. Grabbing a drink she found a spare seat at a table and began chatting to a few people that were around her. Everyone seemed to friendly. It was dark inside but Bowie could make out a few details. It was themed as an enchanted forest and Bowie loved the floral displays that she could see. As the night went on she mingled, networked and danced. Feeling a little hungry she headed over to the buffet table. She grabbed a few different things and headed back to her table.

Bowie ate her food and then tossed the empty paper plate into the trash. She grabbed another drink before dancing again. As the night wore on a lot of people had left but there was still a lot of people there. When the clock struck 1am the lights came up a little. “Okay everyone can I have your attention. It’s time for the party to end. “Let’s thank our wonderful host” he said before a spotlight fell upon a man sitting at a table that was higher up than everyone. Suddenly a scream echoed around the room. “He’s dead” a lady screamed. Someone called the cops and everyone had to wait for them to arrive. Once they did everyone was questioned. As Bowie was about to leave after questioning she heard an EMT say it was likely a heart attack. Maybe it was that simple, or maybe something much more mysterious was going on.
